Hoping you could create another hot fix for this major problem.
We are now on macOS Sonoma 14.2.1 and Acrobat Pro version 2023.008.20458.

1: when we use Text tool and select a text to modify all the page became white and we cannot see anything.
2:There is also another problem when we scroll the pages, everything become white also.
3: We are no longer even able to check the preflight result, blank pages…

  2. Make liquid mode for desktops so I can resize the window for taking notes or sharing and easier to highlight and copy text to a notes file without all the line breaks

  4. If you select and drag/drop a large number of files into the dialog and, for some reason those files are unreadable (eg the drive is no longer mounted) you get uninterruptable "<filename> could not be added to the list because it does not exist." errors, one after another. You cannot interrupt this, so if there are 100+ files you were adding you get 100 error messages one after another that you have to manually click OK on to go past.

Other, more mature, applications notice this behavior and give an option to abort the entire process if there are multiple…

  5. I am using Acrobat Pro (JP).
The total number of comments is no longer displayed in the comments review.
When adding two or more comments (annotations), it shows {total} in the comment count. (Please refer to the attached image)

It may be due to my individual environment, but I posted this because reinstalling Acrobat Pro did not improve it.

As of April 28, 2024, Acrobat Pro is up to date.
    I am using MacOS 12.7.4 / MacBook Pro (14-inch, 2021).

    Thank you.

    私の個別環境が原因なのかもしれませんが、AcrobatProを再インストールしても改善されないため投稿してみました。

    2024年4月28日現在で、AcrobatProは最新版です。
    MacOS 12.7.4/MacBook Pro(14インチ、2021)で使用しています。

  6. Read aloud for comments section.

I use the generative AI frequently and often times the information is much more succinct and comprehensive than my actual lecture slides.
I usually drop comments with the AI information around the lectures to fill in gaps that are missing.
I love the idea of being able to passively learn via read aloud on long commutes to and from Uni. But most pdfs/ lectures are obviously not meant for that. However, I have found that AI generated information reads perfectly. Would be amazing to have and since it is already available for the pdf itself,…

  10. We've had multiple dozens of users button break on Adobe reader, standard and pro where the Send by email/ attatch PDF as attatchment within the adobe application breaks. When clicked it breaks the application and freezes it for about 5 minutes until it errors out. The only way to get rid of the break is to end it from task manager. This was on multiple systems with different versions of Adobe, Windows 10 (1909, 20h2, 22h2), and software versions.

We tried with the most current versions of both the enterprise version of adobe reader/ standard and older versions but for…

  11. When I use acrobat, I often need to navigate in the menu with all the tools so it is conviennent for me to have this menu open all the time. But the new menu is taking to much space in my screen, I wish I can see (maybe has an option) only the icons. There was a option like this in the previous interface. (picture 1 = the menu that I speak of)

I try to put all the function that I used in those tools in my «tool bar» but it become way too big for function that I…

  12. Make straight lines with the highlight text tool and drawing tools by holding shift, just like holding shift with the draw line tool. PLEASE.
Maybe also give the highlighter the clickable option to choose between freehand highlight, straight line highlight, and recognizable text; and lock the option preference until we manually change it.

  13. Since the Adobe Acrobat Update in December with version 23.008.2042x, our
    coworkers reporting Adobe Acrobat crashes.

    Steps to reproduce the issue:
We found out, it is only, when opening the pdf and click instant a linked document (another pdf) on a fileshare, so that you hover the link, it does not display the full URL.

    Expected result:
Opening the hyperlink / another document.

    Observed result
If you wait around 3-5 seconds, and the mouse hover shows the full link, than Adobe does not crash, and asks with security dialog, if you want to open this file.

    All affected Users have…

  15. I digitally sign dozens of adobe docs every week, and there is an associated chime when the PDF saves. Please do away with the unnecessary sound, or create a way to turn it off. It is auditorily abrasive and can be really disruptive in an open work environment.

  16. Simply put: The ability for users to choose the speed at which scrolling the mouse wheel scrolls the view of a document on Adobe Acrobat.

Changing the mouse settings on the actual OS instead of within Acrobat is not a solution, because Acrobat scrolls at a different default speed than other programs such as File Explorer or any browser. For me, scrolling the mouse wheel while viewing a document in Acrobat is way slower than in Chrome or anything else. For others, I'm seeing plenty of complaints that it's too fast on their devices.

Therefore: The ability to change Acrobat's…

  17. Would love if AI assistant [beta] could compare the content of 2 PDFs and tell you how the content in one document relates to the other. It's doable in ChatGPT and Perplexity but it would be so helpful if this feature was native to Acrobat

  18. I routinely check, review, mark up records. I also use the markups to keep track of changes. Word documents are unacceptable because I need to keep a permanent record that work was done.

PDF Exchange editor has a tool that lets me draw a polygon, and set the color blend mode so the polygon acts like a hilighter. I can use this to flag something that is an issue, use different colors to identify the type of issue, and whether or not it has been addressed/resolved.

Adobe acrobat lets me twiddle the opacity, but this makes reading the file difficult,…

  19. Currently 3rd party plugins are not supported with the Acrobat Unified Installer when it is running in reduced mode (running as Reader instead of Acrobat Pro). We are looking for plugins to be supported in reduced mode as well.

  20. Acrobat DC. We use it to release our PCB schematics. If two components are too close to each other, I am only allowed to select one component. No matter how many times I select, it selects the same component. Could you make it, so it pages through component selection?
