Need setting to Always Show Cover Page in Two Page View
I need every file to open in two-page view and show the cover page.
Currently, settings exist to make opening in two-page view the default, but no setting exists to always show the cover page in two-page view, or to make this the default open setting. Every time I open a file I have to go to View>Page Display>Show Cover Page in Two Page View.
Please add this setting to the Preferences>Page Display>Default Layout and Zoom section.

Move the Zoom Buttons, Page Navigation, and Page Number display Back to the top center
Move the Zoom Buttons, Page Navigation, and Page Number display BACK to the top center where I'm expecting them to be. This is NOT simplifying your design, it is interfering with my productivity for absolutely no reason. The simplest design is the one I'm already familiar with.

This product is such a pain to use. If it were not required for the forms I am using, I would delete it and never look at it again. In fact, as soon as I am done with the form I am using, I will remove the product and hope to never use it again. I will also contact the people that require me to use Acrobat and tell them I will cancel their service as filling in their forms using Acrobat is too clunky and not convenient. Even opening Acrobat requires me to sign in. what a dumb idea. Once I register, I should not need to sign in every time with two factor authentication.

Acrobat Reader replaces Acrobat DC as defaulf PDF viewer while it should not
I have Acrobat DC installed as a part of Creative Cloud because I need it to do my work as a graphic designer. In meanwhile my IT dept pushes Reader to all the stations. I can have both installed, but why the Reader so aggressively and violating all the settings sets itself as a default PDF viewer while I want to work in DC all the time? If I set Acrobat DC as a default PDF viewer it should stay as a default viewer!

Acrobat UI
At every major update, the Acrobat Pro UI is getting more and more confusing. None of the standard OS behaviors are respected. I tried to modify the toolbar on Mac (version 2023.0001), impossible to move an icon anywhere.

New UI
I use Acrobat on both Windows PC and Mac (latest Windows 11 and Macos14 sonoma). I downloaded Acrobat from Creative Cloud and kept it updated all the time. A few months ago i found the Acrobat UI was changed on my Mac and when i finally got used to the new UI, recently it just changed back to the old version again by itself and i no longer saw the UI switch button. It's really annoying. And one interesting thing is, the Acrobat UI on my Windows PC never changed even though i used the same account in Creative Cloud.
Another problem is that, when i added signatures or initials, i selected "from images" and finished signing this time, but the next time if i wanted to select other images, the old ones couldn't be replaced or removed until i re-installed Acrobat on Mac.I use Acrobat on both Windows PC and Mac (latest Windows 11 and Macos14 sonoma). Unable to print PDFs on my MacBook Air running Sonoma 14.1.2.
When I try to print, I get two error messages, one stating that the PDF file can't be printed, and the second that no pages were selected (which isn't true).

Critisicm on global development of Acrobat and Adobe
I think it is a very bad thing if a software manufacturer implements major changes such as the totally new design of acrobat pro. I didn't get any notic. it was just there. the handling is ****. Sorry but it is. My quick tool bar was gone. The tools wer gone to the left side. in Short: Without notifying the customer, it is a no go!
Not even the support knew about this instantly. They had to look it up?! And if you intent to forward critiscm, no one feels responsible. To what sort of company have you been developing. Next step will be to disable javascript, right, so that i cannot earn any money at all.I think it is a very bad thing if a software manufacturer implements major changes such as the totally new design of acrobat pro. Escape from Close
Sometimes I accidently start to close a pdf before I'm done with it. A window pops open that allows me to save or discard changes - super useful - but I also want a cancel button OR to be able to hit ESC and cancel the close pdf action. Once you hit the [x] in you have to exit. I want to be able to change my mind. This happens often enough to me that you should 100% make this a priority :)

PDF Previews in page tab
I dont understand what Adobe has done to the new acrobat. The new page tab is not intuitive to use. Before all things worked fine with rearranging pages, duplicating pages, etc. Now I needed 20 tries to select a range of pages and duplicate them. Please use the old style of managing the pages. It was much easier and not as buggy.

Location of page up/down, re-do, print & save icons should be all together
They used to be near each other at the top, now some are on the right side and some on the top. (?!?) How about a Settings option so users can position them where they're convenient?

Bug - PDF Tag Panel does not match Reading Order Tool by marking all Tags as Span ISSUE FOR NEWEST UPDATE
I am experiencing a similar issue that was written in this bug report "Bug - PDF Tag Panel does not match Reading Order Tool by marking all Tags as Span". It appears that others have encountered this issue as well, but since the form was posted in 2019, I want to ensure it hasn't already been marked as resolved. Here is a link to this post (https://acrobat.uservoice.com/forums/590923-acrobat-for-windows-and-mac/suggestions/37571164-bug-pdf-tag-panel-does-not-match-reading-order-t)
My situation is similar to the original post, but I am facing an issue with converting a Microsoft Word document to a PDF. Although the document appears correctly, the reading order(viewer panel) is incorrect. To replicate the issue, I saved the document as a PDF in Microsoft Word and opened it in Adobe to run an accessibility check. While Adobe recognizes the original tags created in the Word document in the Tags panel of the accessibility tool and the bookmarks appear to have the correct structure, the order viewer panel displays everything as a large mass of span and does not reflect the proper tag structure from the tag panel. I am using a Mac for this entire process.
Please refrain from mentioning any inability to perform this task on a Mac. I have not encountered any issues with this task prior to the update. The issue is more likely to be a problem where the Adobe Acrobat is not coded correctly or is failing to make sure that Tag panel information is reflected in the viewer panel(Reading order) correctly.
Here is what the original post said about the issue:
This issue of InDesign and Acrobat incompatibility in regards to Acrobat displaying all spans even when the Reading Order is correct has been around for over two years. We deserve to know what Adobe is doing about it.
Acrobat Team acknowledges the problem and blames InDesign:
"It's actually not an Acrobat issue, it's an issue with InDesign and how it's generating the Content that Acrobat is displaying correctly"
https://forums.adobe.com/message/10005333#10005333
InDesign Team acknowledges the problem and blames Acrobat:
"You'd have to talk to the Acrobat team about why they display in the Tags panel the way they do." - Adobe
https://forums.adobe.com/message/10225230#10225230OR
"Our investigation suggests that the issue lies in the latest update of Acrobat and there is little that can be done at our end to resolve the issue.
The problem has been communicated to the relevant team.
In the meanwhile we are closing this thread for InDesign."And closes the issue.
What is Adobe doing to fix this issue? And don’t tell us that it is not a real problem for screen readers because the Tags panel is ok. When a certain government agency reviews files, they just use the Reading Order Tool when they make complaints against people who use your product. These are not the kind of people who will read all these posts of Adobe blaming each other and then saying it does not matter because some screen readers don't use the reading order. Adobe is basically saying that this feature is pointless. If it is pointless remove it or merge it fully with the Tags panel.
Besides, there is a lot more assistive technology and applications than just JAWS and NVDA that depend on the reading order and reflow being correct.
What is Adobe doing to fix this span issue?
And don’t ask me for more info or more files. You have these posts with detailed explanations and you have already acknowledged the problem exists yourselves and acknowledged that you can reproduce it yourselves. And don’t tell us to go to Forums for help. Because they will send us back to UserVoice.
Thank you.

STOP Amit Kumar Jain (Admin, Adobe) From Copy and Pasting the same Garbage to Everyone - WE DO NOT LIKE THE NEW UI
There are many reports and votes about customers not liking the new UI - me included. It is a load of rubbish.
Stop copying and pasting your garbage response to everyone and actually take note of what we are all saying.
You are basically telling people to just get used to it. If it is forced on us in future updates then I'm out, I'll be looking for alternative pdf software, and I'd encourage everyone else to do the same..
I encourage all to Report Amits' comments as inappropriate.
