The forced New Acrobat experience removed essential functionality and caused major workflow disruption.
Critical workflow regression: Missing modification asterisk, broken autosave indicators, and forced UI changes in new Acrobat
This report describes multiple regressions introduced by the forced New Acrobat experience that significantly disrupted my workflow and removed essential functionality.
Description:
I want to report several issues caused by the forced rollout of the new Acrobat experience. These changes significantly disrupted my workflow and required extensive troubleshooting to restore basic functionality.
1. Removal of the modification asterisk
The classic asterisk indicator (showing when a PDF has unsaved changes) no longer appears, even in Classic mode. This is a critical regression. Without it, there…1 vote -
Clients think documents are signed when they aren't. Interface improvements required.
Using Adobe Sign today, I also found that the field automation didn't work. The message would show that fields are available, but then when you click the icon to apply the fields, the message would come back that it couldn't find any locations to place a field, totally not recognizing the Signature or date lines requiring manual field placements.
In the date line options, please add: yyyy-mm-dd - HH:MM:ss
(required by the Canada Revenue Agency on their T183 Authorization to E-file signature forms). I have to always enter this text manually. Also, clients are finding Signing the form confusing. I…

[Bug] Acrobat Pro 2020 Preflight Droplet Error Text report not being created
Hello,
We are using custom preflight droplets with Acrobat XI to perform batch/automated conversion. We are opting to upgrade to Acrobat 2020.
When creating preflight droplets, there is an option to select an error folder and create an error report in the error folder with specific formats (PDF, XML, Text) on any preflight error.
For our case, we are using Text format for the error report as it is less verbose (the preflight rules are not listed unlike XML) and easily extractable and logged in a log file (unlike PDF).However in Acrobat Pro 2020, it seems that there is…

Print multiple pages on one sheet by shifting the contents 1 by 3 to the left side of the paper.
Leave it to the developer
Print multiple pages on one sheet by moving the contents to the left side of the paper.
In the case of custom prints, 3 horizontally and 1 vertically.
So that the left side of the paper has custom printed content 1 by 3 and the right side of the paper has space for writing after printing 1/3 of the printable paper width.Nowadays, Adobe Acrobat can print multiple pages on one sheet of paper, but…

Bug Report: Adobe Bug when creating pdf from scanner in latest Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
This is not an idea. It is a report of a serious, newly introduced bug in your expensive software.
File -> Create -> PDF from Scanner worked fine for me for several years with my Epson WF-3540 printer/scanner, several levels and versions of Adobe Acrobat products - up to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC - and my old Win7 laptop.
Last week I finally got around to deploying my new Win10 laptop and installing Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. Today I needed to scan some letters to PDF and was surprised and disappointed.
My usual "File -> Create -> PDF from Scanner"…

How do I import .msg files into Mozilla Thunderbird?
You can try to import .MSG files into Mozilla Thunderbird, you can use the Aryson MSG Converter. This tool converts MSG files into Thunderbird-compatible formats like MBOX or EML. Simply install the software, select your MSG files or folder, preview the emails, choose MBOX as the saving format, and convert. Once converted, open Thunderbird and use the ImportExportTools NG add-on to import the MBOX files. This ensures that email content, attachments, and metadata are preserved. The software supports batch conversion, date filtering, and removes duplicates, making it efficient for large-scale email migrations to Thunderbird on Windows systems.

Acrobat Reader DC stopped working on Windows 10 PC no error message
Acrobat Reader DC has stopped working on my PC (Windows 10 Pro, Version 21H2). The last time it worked I was writing in LaTeX (Distribution: MikTex, Editor: Texmaker). Acrobat Reader worked fine for a long time even when writing in LaTeX. But somehow it suddenly stopped. I tried reinstalling Acrobat Reader, tried some workarounds in the registry, messed with some file names, tried repairing it in windows programs and features and tried compatibility mode but nothing worked. I can't really imagine any way in which LaTeX would cause the Reader to crash. LaTeX outputs pdf files but the programs don't…
