  1. It would be great to have a translation feature as there are many languages that we have to communicate with in the emergency management field. Having to translate documents before being able to process paperwork in a time sensitive situation would be a great feature and it it would save time and money.

  2. When you create a bookmark and add nested icons under it, there's no way to move it back without deleting it. Can you all the nested icons to move without having to delete them? For example if I have bookmarks A,B,C, D then I add 1a, 1b,1c and want to move 1b to align with A, instead of being indented, I cannot do it.
See the attached document of trying to align bookmarks in a .pdf booklet.

  5. When organising many pages say, in excess of 30 pages, coming from different files / tabs, with each tab having its own range of sequential page numbers, we find it difficult to organise the 30 pages in sequential page numbering. We cannot easily identify pages by looking at the preview and guess the ascending page numbers to be collated in a single pdf document. We would have thought there would be a simple "preview" button to see the page numbers.

  6. Adobe Acrobat shows a message about an invalid page content even when this content is not broken.

It happens in the next case when there are 2 things:

    1. A content of a page contain 'gs' command that is used 'TK' key.

    2. The second case is very difficult to define.

Looks that it is related to the length of a stream of a page. But maybe there are exists additional conditions.

Adobe Acrobat throw the error windows when you open this document.

Note any others PDF viewers and checkers does not found any errors.

if you remove 'TK' key from 'G2'…

  8. I have used other esignature systems that allow the signer to attach documents to the file when they sign them. I.e., I use the system to process new students into a EMS education program, during our onboarding process I used adobe Esign to allow them to sign their student documents remotely and electronically preventing them getting lost. However, part of the application process is that I also must have copies of their drivers license, vaccine records, etc. So creating a way to have them "submit" these documents with the document they are signing with AdobeSign would keep everything together and…

  9. When editing templates previously created, the text field-area moves and includes different parts of the text even if they were in completely different boxes.
I came back to a template and experienced the attached. It prints out that way as well. This is very frustrating because I don't know how to get the original text back.

  11. Headers & Footers should have an option to appear over the document, similar to watermarks. When applying a watermark, you have the option of placing that watermark over or under the document. The same options should be provided with headers and footers. I recently applied a page number footing to a document, but the footer was hidden by screen capture images that I had already previously pasted into the PDF. When I apply headers and footers, that is usually my last step in preparing a document. Please Help!

  12. Zebra has many internal documents that have been transitioned to Adobe Sign for approvals. What we have encountered is that these documents have a table of contents that contains links to specific sections of the document. Going through the signature process the documents are "flattened" and the links no longer work. This is causing quite a problem since this did not happen before switching to using Adobe Sign. Right now we have a repository where 39 documents have working links and 6 do not. This request has come from our CISO. If more information is required, please contact me.

  16. Dear Acrobat, why, after all those years, can we still not use your own (!) PDF format for setting a signature?

Or at least some other vector-based format? 🙏

  18. Allow special characters in comments such as zero width non-joiner, non-breaking space, non-breaking hyphen, forced line-breaks (not paragraph breaks), etc. and provide an option to display them like InDesign’s “Display Hidden Characters”.

It is an indispensable feature for workflows where copy editors and typesetters use PDF comments to correct texts that will then be imported into InDesign for review.

Furthermore, comment text fields should allow invoking macOS Emoji & Symbols palette (see https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/mchlp1560/mac) to easier input.

  19. Refer to the PDF review error message they are receiving (attached). I've never heard of this, but several of my developers (Chrome, IE, Edge, on Windows, Mac, or Linux flavors) all have the same problem. about 1/3 of people have no trouble, others get this error. Help!
