Windows Cyrptographic Service Provider Reported an ErrorCreated a Word docx and clicked "Create and Share Adobe PDF." Unable to enter password (box automatically greys out and cannot type). Cancelling provokes this error code: 2148073488. This is a recurring issue every time I use "Create and Share Adobe PDF" and try to digitally sign using a work certificate. Workaround has been closing and reopening the PDF to sign. Please address. 1 vote

Could Adoble please create a Senior/Disabled pricing optionHi there, the companies I've worked at and later in my career, I personally have always used Adobe products. Always paid for all the software I used over the years and updated regularly. Now I find myself the victim of an unfortunate accident that has left me with what seems to be permanent brain injury. In spite of several years of therapy so far, I am no longer able to work as a creative director/designer.. I still have hopes that I might one day recover enough to return to work, but as of the last 5 years I have been unable to hold a job. Given my limited income I can't afford the new CC rates, but I still love to do personal (non-profit) projects for myself. I run CS6.5 on my old work computer, but time is running out for it. When it dies my circumstances probably won't have changed, and I still won't be able to afford CC rates. Could Adobe not create a Retired/Disable category of pricing? There are so many of us that supported your company, for years, could you not give us a break now when we can no longer afford professional pricing? Flattening a PDF for printI'm getting no sensible suggestions on how to flatten a file for printing. This is one of the simplest and most basic of needs for the printing industry and I'm just staggered at the lack of clarity everywhere I look and whenever I ask. I work in Word to create artwork then convert this to a PDF but the existing pathway to flattening the file does not work and creates a chaotic image with bits missing and colours changed. How do I flatten a PDF??? 1 vote

save multiple open files at once or open multiple recent itemsAcrobat DC std/pro do not have an option to save multiple open files at once. If i have 10 pdfs open in 10 different tabs there is no way to save all of those files at once to a single location. You have to save one by one. Similarly you cannot open multiple recent items. Yes you can select multiple recent items using the checkbox but the only available option thereafter is to combine or remove from list. No option to OPEN. 4 votes

Adobe is not opening paint program when I select "Edit Using" "Microsoft Paint".It used to work fine until a couple of weeks ago. Now I get the following popup "Adobe Acrobat cannot start the image editing application you've specified. Verify the image editing application location on the Content Editing panel in Preferences". I did as instructed...and added the path to MS Paint program. I restarted the Adobe DC several times, but keep getting the same popup. Every time I go to check the Preferences, it shows the correct path. Adobe just fails to open MS Paint. 4 votesHappy to share that this issue has been addressed in the latest release (Sep 2022)

Distiller crash with rangeThe bug is for Adobe Distiller crash with a range setting. Environment:acrodist X,2017 or Pro DC 2021, over win10-64bit Recreation steps:
1/ I printer a file to PS using Acrobat (I used 2017) and recived the attached 7ET-4593311000p.PS [renamed with extension .pdf since only .pdf can be upload]
2/ Opened Distiller (I checked on Acrodist X,2017 and Pro DC 2021) and change Settings-“Edit Adobe PDF Settings”-Pages Form 2-3 (you can use attached range2-3.joboptions [renamed with extension .pdf])
3/ Drag the 7ET-4593311000p.PS to the distiller and see the distiller Crash.

Acrobat doesn't remember tool layout/selection I created.I'll add a tool, in this case Action Wizard, to the tool bar and Acrobat only seems to "remember" my new tool bar for a a few days and then sets everything back to its original state. 2 votes

Please remove the prechecked box on installing other software.During download: The pre-checked boxes prompting installing McAfee or other software is a very shady process. Most people aren't paying attention to that and accidentally install it on top of any other anti virus that they have and that can cause so many issues. Please consider removing the pre-check and allow those that pay attention to decide for themselves. 5 votes

Fix the FIX tool for ArtifactingWhen you have elements with no alt-text you get accessibility errors when running the checker. However, if you right click on the error and choose "fix" and walk through the items and mark them as decorative, instead of actually making them an artifact it simply changes the tag to "Artifact" which is not a valid tag and creates other errors. You then have to go in and properly designate the objects as Artifacts properly for the other errors to go away. VERY Frustrating. Come on Adobe Acrobat! This is a repeatable condition and needs to be fixed immediately please! Setting something as an artifact is a state and not a valid tag in the tags tree. Thank you for contacting us. I have raised the issue with the engineering team. We have kept it our radar and will be fixing it in the near future.Meanwhile I would suggest you to use Reading Order tool to mark the Figure as Artifact for fixing the issue. Please update to the latest version of Acrobat Pro DC to experience new features. Thanks

Replacing XMP metadata is NOT absorbed into the PDF document.Unsuccessfully tried to change/modify the advanced metadata 'PRODUCER' of a PDF from Acrobat Pro DC. I would not accept the revised xmp file as a replacement. 2 votes

Text box formatting covers text inputPlease. Get rid of the text formatting covering up the active text box that's being typed into. This drives me insane, and happens nearly every time I'm commenting on a PDF. Please see attached image. The text box I'm typing in is totally covered by the formatting box. All one has to do to reproduce is to add a text box and move it towards the top of the screen. I have Windows 10, using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015.006.30482. I want the formatting box to never cover the text box I am typing in. 8 votes

Key Command for EditLiterally every text writing/editing application I use on my Mac allows me to use the key command "Command-E" to Edit whatever I'm working on in that program. But, for some utterly unfathomable reason, Acrobat Pro DC lacks this basic, and otherwise, universal function. Please address this glaring oversight immediately. Also, I used to be able to access menu functions in Adobe Acrobat Pro using the macro editor Keyboard Maestro, but those macros no longer work in Pro DC. So that's something else you could look at and fix as soon as humanly possible. Thank you for your prompt attention to this very urgent issue.
