  2. PDF Maker: New Bug puts <Figure> tags in the wrong reading order

    Affects Windows Office users who use Adobe Acrobat PDF Maker (the Acrobat ribbon) to export PDFs from MS Office apps. Definitely affects US English versions, and may affect other language versions.

    With the recent Acrobat update on either Sept. 12 or Oct. 17, 2023 (Acrobat ver. 23.006.xxxxx with PDF Maker 23 and Library 23.6.136), figures anchored in the Word.docx file do not end up in the correct location in the PDF's tag tree.

    <Figure> tags are scattered randomly throughout the PDF's Tag Tree, sometimes several pages AFTER their anchor point in the Word.docx. Some <Figure> tags do get placed correctly…

    It is impossible now to edit the CC list once the agreement is in draft form. Once we save it as a draft, the CC list is locked. We can only cancel the agreement and redo it.

  6. AI Assistant frequently fails to return an answer

    Hi,

    The Adobe AI Assistant sometimes fails to return an answer. Instead, I get back "This file isn't currently supported. Please try a different file" (first screenshot bellow).

    However, if I retry several times it will eventually succeed (second screenshot below).

    I've also attached the PDF file that is being processed. It was obtained from the S.E.C.'s EDGAR website, after converting the HTML document to PDF.

    I'm running Adobe Acrobat Reader on an Apple MacBook M2 Pro (third screenshot below).

    Outputs PRINT command instead of Document

    Starting in March 2025, when I try to print a .PDF file (using Acrobat Reader DC ver. 25.001.20435), the output (from my Epson Expressions XP-4100 inkjet "all-in-one" device) consists of multiple pages concerning the Print command (note point [c] below), rather than the actual document!   12. remove bookmarks

    I use Adobe to open up to hundreds of pdf files every day and the bookmarks menu keeps popping up every time i have closed the viewer window.
    I have gone in to Preferences -> Documents and turned on "Restore last view settings when reopening documents" but it doesent work.
    This is very annoying because i never use bookmarks.
