splitting into vertical multi-page pdfs
Subject: Add native support to vertically split tall single-page PDFs into multiple 8.5x11 pages
Message:
I am a paying Adobe Acrobat Pro subscriber, and I'm baffled that Acrobat does not provide a basic feature to split a tall single-page PDF (such as a webpage screenshot or a scrolled report) into sequential vertical slices that each fit on standard 8.5x11 pages.
Currently, the only option is the “Poster” mode in the Print dialog, which splits based on width, often outputting content in columns, which is not useful for scrolling documents.
Many users—including legal professionals, researchers, and auditors—frequently need to paginate long scrollable content like web pages into letter-sized vertical pages. This is a basic, obvious feature that should not require third-party tools or programming.
Please add a feature to:
Vertically slice a tall PDF page by fixed height (e.g., 792 points or 11 inches)
Preserve vector/text quality
Output a multi-page PDF with each page showing the next vertical segment
Thank you for considering this request seriously. Acrobat is a professional-grade product and should support such a professional task.

PDF forms using JAWS and NVDA Screen readers with latest Acrobat update
With the latest update of Acrobat (2024.002.20895) I have been experiencing issues reading, completing, and interacting with PDF forms using both JAWS and NVDA screen readers. The screen reader keeps leaving forms mode when I'm in fields. Instead of typing into the field, it recognizes my keystrokes as JAWS commands. For example, when I try to type "Henry" in a Name field, pressing "H" makes it jump to the next heading in the document instead of typing the character(s). I have confirmed that I am in forms mode (both visually and via the sound the screen reader makes when entering a field in forms mode). Sometimes, I have to tab past a field and then back to it before The screen reader announces it. One of our staff members who uses a screen reader mentioned this issue to me last week, and I’ve confirmed it with other screen reader users. When not using a screen reader, the forms work fine, but with JAWS or NVDA running, they act up. Documents without form fields are reading fine, but those with form fields are having issues. This was first noticed with the previous update and continues with the current one. The forms have been validated as accessible through manual testing and using the latest version of PAC 2024. We were able to use these same forms without issue before the last two Acrobat updates.

Top Edge of Tabs Behaves as Title Bar in Adobe Acrobat
In Adobe Acrobat, when clicking on tabs, the entire tab area — including the upper edge — should be clickable so that switching to the selected tab works smoothly. However, in the current state, clicking on the very top part of a tab behaves like interacting with the window's title bar instead of the tab itself. This makes it difficult to switch tabs properly and negatively impacts the user experience.

Choosing a default font for "Prepare Form"
Editing auto generated form text fields for a long document is a NIGHTMARE.
why on earth would i have to MANNUALY change EACH and every field?
what's the use of the preferences being set to a font i prefer for it just to be reverted back to Helvetica?
Either you unify the font preferences or just make a section for form preparation font to allow us to choose for it as well
it's insane that i have to waste so much time editing tons of fields on just switching fonts when a simple solution of a "one button click" is right there to apply it to.

You have a bug
We have two pdf files, names are ACLASAA and ACLSAA. When we open them with the Adobe Acrobat Reader, the file names of both became ACLSTAA on the tab of the Acrobat. But they look normal on the "Recent" files list.

map azure displayName to Adobe user name for enterprise customers using OIDC
For enterprise customers that use SAML to sync Azure with Adobe, they're able to map the Azure displayName to the Adobe username. We use OIDC, which does NOT allow for such a mapping.
We'd strongly prefer to map the Azure displayName attribute to the Adobe username in our OIDC setup.

How to Recover Deleted Emails from OST File in Outlook?
Hi everyone,
I recently deleted some important emails by mistake, and they were also removed from the Deleted Items folder. I was searching for a way to recover deleted emails from OST file and found a tool called MSOutlookHelp OST File Repair Tool. This tool helped me get back all my deleted emails easily. The best part is that it is simple to use and works smoothly on Windows. You just need to add your OST file, and the software scans and recovers the data quickly. It even recovered old emails that I thought were gone forever. So if anyone else is facing the same issue, I highly recommend trying this tool.https://www.msoutlookhelp.com/blog/recover-deleted-emails-from-ost-file/

ability to highlight a picture / table
It would be great if there was the ability to highlight a box of a table and not just the text inside of it or a picture or graph in a document. Sometimes it's the whole square you need to highlight and not just a bit of text. This would be awesome!

When using the search bar with Japanese input (IME), a bug occurs when entering 2 or more full-width characters (e.g., kanji or kana).
Steps to reproduce:
Enter two or more Japanese characters using IME.
Press Enter to confirm conversion.
“No results found” appears, even though results do exist.
Press Enter again, and the correct search results are displayed.
Additional notes:
Half-width input works fine with live updates.
1-character Japanese input is fine.
Only 2+ full-width characters via IME conversion cause the bug.
This seems to be a timing issue between compositionend and the execution of the search logic.
Please investigate and consider fixing this.1 vote -

Page Content and Information - Setting more accessible
It would be incredibly useful to be able to toggle view of some items like Art, Trim & Bleed boxes in the main interface rather than have it as a system setting. I find it frustrating to have to make system change when I want to look at these options
