Having to press 'post' instead of x on commenting
I am an editor and have to mark up PDFs using the highlight and commenting function. I used to be able to add in a comment to my highlighted text and just click out of the box using x in the top right but something has been changed and now I am required to press post each time then click the x - and when I forget to do this the previous comment appears waiting for me to press post - this has doubled the time it takes to comment and time is money for a freelancer! This is not efficient - please can you revert back to how it was.

Cannot perform Simplified Chinese OCR
Whenever I try to perform OCR recognition on a scanned Simplified Chinese document, an error message will pop up: Acrobat could not perform Text Recognition on this page because: Unknown error (see uploaded screenshot). The scanning quality is very high. English documents scanned in the same way can be easily recognized through OCR. Meanwhile, simplified Chinese OCR works fine on Android App.
When performing Simplified Chinese OCR recognition on the Android app, the app prompts me to download the Simplified Chinese language pack. However, there is no such prompt on the desktop software. I'm not sure if the problem is due to the lack of the language pack. But I've searched through preferences settings and haven't found the place to download the OCR language pack.
I attached a test file for simplified chinese OCR, anyone who want to reproduce the bug could use this file.
- Steps to reproduce the issue: perform simplified chinese OCR on the attached test file, or any other scanned Simplified Chinese document.
- Environment (OS, other related application versions, etc.): Windows 11, Adobe Acrobat Pro Continuous Release 2025.001.20435 64-bit
- Expected result: OCR works on scanned Simplified Chinese document.

Adobe Acrobat Pro: Compare Files - improvement
How do I share the comparison report view with customers who only have Adobe Reader?
Ability to export side-by-side or two-page comparison report view so that customer can see the same comparison view using only Adobe Reader. To see proposed view, see attached file "Expected result (also available for Adobe Reader users)".
This two-sides comparison view with visible comments is clear and user-friendly. It is important to be able to share our work with our customers, who typically don't have Adobe Acrobat. This may also make Adobe Acrobat more attractive than buying the alternative solution from PDiff (https://www.csci.de/en/pdiff/).

Pricing model
I would love to use the document sign feature of Adobe, but I only need it about twice a year at the most. I am willing to pay for this feature (one time fee $10? or light usage subscription, $30/year) but not $29/month. Please consider adding a low end option to your pricing model.

The "+ Create" button needs to be removed from the Tab bar and placed onto the All Tools bar. I routinely hit the Create button when intending to resize or move the Acrobat window, the button quite literally couldn't be in a worse place. (Even just moving it to the front of the tabs would alleviate the issue) The only option to hide the button is to disable the new Acrobat, which is ridiculous.

BUG? Verizon Bill Opens Only Showing Boxes, Lines, and Icons
I downloaded my bill from Verizon and tried to view it with Adobe Acrobat Pro. It only shows boxes, lines and icons. No data. I can see my data with no problem using Preview, a Mac program, but not with Adobe. I tried saving the program to an Adobe PDF, but I was still unable to see my data. This bug needs to be fixed.

create option to prevent screen resize on file open
Create an option setting so my Adobe windows do NOT resize based on settings of new file being opened. In other words, control of window resizing should remain with ME, NOT the person sending me their PDF file.

USeless improvement with AI
In improvement like AI focus you forgot the basics of PDF users, i made changes into my documents and wanted to save with other name but there is no option SAVE AS only save copy. Suggest me another PDF app to use for basic day to day us which will not waste my time and efforts

Highlight area is too broad
The highlight area is too broad. For one, when I try to highlight something, Adobe will auto-highlight text that I did not select. This leads to having to constantly highlight, delete, and highlight again to get the actual desired text. Acrobat will add more text to my highlight that I never selected in the first place. This slows me down tremendously as I am constantly having to do double the work. Second, if I try to highlight text that is close to text that is already highlighted, it won't let me highlight the new text unless I start my cursor at the endpoint of my desired text selection and drag my cursor to the beginning of the text. Lastly, I think there should be a shortcut to quickly switch between highlight colors. I have to manually change the color I am highlighting, and this also slows the process down as you have to keep switching from color to color. Please allow a keyboard shortcut that can be used with the mouse to select a preset highlight color.

Crashing
Issue, The application just updated a day or so ago. Now when I open a document, it and attempt to fill/sign, I get an error, and the application closes. The only message I get is included in this note.

Organize/remove/add pages from the desktop app
I am very frustrated that the ability to organize/remove/add pages from the desktop app was removed int he most recent version. When clicking the help/tutorials, it only gives me instructions for the online version. However, there is an organize pages icon which pulls up a list of pages. When I attempt to delete a page, it doesn't delete. I'm also not seeing a way to add additional pages.
