Minimize Pop-ups
I've seen a lot of posts on this topic, however, I want to add some specifics to better quantify the issue. Major pop-ups that routinely affect my work are "do you want to make this a trusted document," "enable all features," new feature announcements such as "adobe has a new look," "do you want to make adobe the default program," and more that I might not be remembering right now.
As far as the "do you want to make this a trusted document" and "enable all features" prompts, I'm sure there's a reason these pop-ups exists. That being said, regardless of which option I click to either of these prompts, I can still do what I need with the document. What does that mean? For my purposes, these options are inconsequential yet I get prompted to select them for every document I open. Sometimes I have to process 20 documents at a time. Some pop-ups can even stop me from opening other documents until I acknowledge them. My advice, for the average user, adjust these options automatically to the most secure unless they click on something which requires the document to be "trusted" or for all features to be enabled. I still don't know what either of these prompts actually do, so, as far as my daily uses this can probably be preset.
To address announcement pop-ups such as "adobe has a new look," I completely understand why your business needs to advertise its innovations in order to maintain an edge over any competitors. However, for the average user, I believe your product is relied upon for being a consistent and reliable method for opening, reviewing, and editing documents. The average user already knows what buttons to interact with to accomplish what they want even before opening adobe acrobat. For those that need help or want to review customization options, these features should be located in a help sections that only opens when prompted.
Finally, to address "do you want to make adobe a default program" and any other first-time opening adobe prompts, I have some unique advice. My organization is pretty large and probably owns an expensive adobe license. However, at my work, there are numerous instances where we are logging into computers and virtual machines which do not save our user profile. These means, of course, that each time I open adobe acrobat in a session, I am greeted with all of the "first time opening adobe acrobat" prompts. I can't remember specifically what all of them are, but I believe they are about 2 or 3. On slow loading computers or virtual machines with limited bandwidth, this minor inconvenience can often cost minutes. Having that been said, I've noticed streamlining of the "do you want to make this a default product" prompt. It's a lot more intuitive on how to do it, however, I think it should be something accessed in the "help" section rather than a pop-up that comes up when the product is first loaded, for the aforementioned reasons.
Hopefully this advice is constructive. I hope to see adobe maintain dominance as there are still some features that microsoft edge is getting completely wrong in their pdf viewing application, but I want to make clear the time that some of these pop-up features are costing adobe's customers.

Make text boxes, callout boxes, drawing tools not sticky
All out comments are done with text boxes, text callout boxes, lines and arrows (as opposed to the sticky-note style comment). When we select any of those tools, they stay selected, i.e. when I draw a callout box and type, then click off of it, all I do is create yet another callout box. I have to click the arrow at the top of that pane to deselect it, then click AGAIN to manually move or resize my box. Previous Adobe version, did not "stick" when I selected a text box or callout box or an arrow or line from drawing tools. Now it does, and boy is it a problem.

Floating Tool Bar
The tool bar is unneccesarily large and floats over the document. Although it is possible to move it, needing to do so every time I want to see the top left corner of my PDF is frustrating.
Overall there is a lot of bloat and pointless white space on all the menus and side bars, but especially the page side bar. It takes up a quarter of the window area automatically and there is no clear way to change the settings about autolaunching it or prefering a more compact version if it does autolaunch.1 vote -
Bug: Deletion overrules download in scan-folder
When I've started a bulk download in Adobe Acrobat Scan-folder and choose the same files for deletion, but the binder.zip was not yet completed all files are gone.
They should be at least in the document cloud trash bin to restore them after deletion anyway.

ProtonMail, Can’t Reset Password
One of the reasons could be delays in emails or wrong password recovery settings. First, check whether you have set a recovery email. When you go to reset your password, be sure to check your inbox for the recovery email. Don’t forget to check the spam folder in case the email was lost there.
If the above method fails, then the reason could be related to server issues. You may check their page for ongoing technical issues, or you may try resetting the password in a different browser or device.
Because ProtonMail always adopts e2ee (end-to-end encryption) security measures, if you do not have the recovery methods, it may be impossible to recover the account. That’s the harsh truth.
Visit the help center for more information about account recovery and get in touch with their support team. There may be other methods that they can provide you with. You may also enable two-factor authentication after the maintenance process to strengthen your account security.More Info: https://www.resetprotonpassword.com/

Revert to the previous version's commenting tools
Things change - as does the UI - that is fine. Professionals working with Adobe Pro have adapted before. However, the changes have DOUBLED the amount of time it takes to mark up a PDF and as far as I can see there is no solution for this.
We are not longer able to highlight text, start typing and have text automatically replaced. We also have to select the tool, then implement the mark up.
We are not able to pick a spot in the text, start typing and have text automatically inserted. We also have to select the tool, then implement the mark up.
The above, coupled with the fact that a tool now remains active, makes a heavy mark-up a mammoth effort. Imagine inserting over 500 different comments as you proofread and each time having to select and deselect a tool.
With the commenting tools now "nested" under multiple menus, instead of just permanently all active, it adds to the amount of time it takes to find and select a tool.
Above all, if this is truly what your research shows people want for commenting, at least give people the option to disable these functions. The changes you have made were clearly not suggested by any professional that actually uses them in their daily work. They are clunky, slow, not user-friendly and you have made them mandatory.
I will definitely NOT be using the new Adobe Pro for this task and have reverted back. If it becomes enforced, I believe plenty of publishing professionals will be forced to consider other options.

Application Error
The instruction at 0x0000000066BC0560 referenced memory at 0x0000000066BC0560. The memory could not be written.Click on OK to terminate the program
This happens after opening a PDF in Adobe Acrobat (Continuous Release Version 2024.002.20991 | 64-bit).
This error is received after opening a PDF in Acrobat. I have run the add/remove programs > Modify > repair program and am still getting the error. I tried to run a repair on Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop app, but it only has the remove option. Checking for updates reports that everything is up to date.

Share and OCR not working on MAC machines using the new view
In the new UI (on MAC only) the share button does not work, the Scan and OCR brings up blank boxes when choosing Recognize Text in this file, and once you have selected the Scan and OCR if you try to Edit a PDF or Prepare for Accessibility, those boxes are now blacked out. This is not happening on Windows machines. I updated Acrobat on both machines to the latest version (Windows 2024.002.21005 and Mac 2024.002.20964) and uninstalled and reinstalled it on the Mac. I also have the latest versions of my OS installed on both laptops. I have taken the exact same document and can do everything I need to do on the Windows Acrobat, but it is useless in the Mac version. I did switch back to the old "view" in the Mac and was able to get the OCR to work, however the share button is just a blank screen (in the new view, tt shows some strange extra large font overwriting itself.)

FIX YOUR GD SOFTWARE
Fix your GD software. You keep changing your software without adding meaningful features. Maybe bring back the save as option so I can save versions without printing to PDF. Bring back classic file browser for file save, you are clearly too stupid to determine where files should be saved. Finally your stupid create PDF feature breaks when I try to add files and puts me into and endless loop (see attachment).

Return of the ancient option to deactivate local fonts
I really would appreciate the return of the ancient option to deactivate the local fonts in the Acrobat settings. So the checkup, if the used fonts are properly embedded in the PDF for professional printing would be much easier!
