fix edit menu
Editing text: pasting text onto pdf ends up with letters very widely spaced and unreadable. Prior version did not have this undesirable feature. Through trial/error, I found this could be avoided by extra step of selecting "0" on the "VA" menu button, even though it says "0" to start with. Ironically it says "0" as default, but if I do not set it to "0" again (even though the default shows "0"), "VA" now will read "14" for my copy-pasted text edit, and individual letters are so far apart as to be unreadable. It would be nice to revert to a prior version where this extra step was never needed. (ie, I don't want to go through that extra step of selecting "0" for "VA" option, even though it looks like the default is set at "0". In my case the default is actually "14" though you would think it is "0"

Enhanced "Move Up/Down" in the Combine Files dialog
Enhanced "Move Up/Down" in Combine Files
Imagine that you have highlighted a group of files to combine and then the combine files dialog opens and you need to reorder the files. Further imagine say that a file at the top of the list should be at the bottom of the list - instead of tapping the move down button many times, if it is at the top of the list then one further tap should take it to the bottom. Similarly if there was a file at the bottom that should be at the top - one further tab down should take it to the top.

Unable to type Tamil
I can't use the Fill & Sign option to type in Tamil in the text box. I'm using Acrobat Pro on the latest Windows version. When I click the text box to type Tamil, the text appears in a box at the upper-right corner, and when I press space, it returns to the original position without any text. However, if I use the Edit option, the text appears after pressing space. How can I type Tamil directly in Adobe?

PLEASE REMOVE THE GEN-AI AUTO DESCRIPTIONS!!!
PLEASE REMOVE THE GEN-AI AUTO DESCRIPTIONS!!!
It's the most inconvenient new feature when reviewing comments. It automatically pops up and hides the comment as you are trying to read it.1 vote -
Prompting to reactivate subscription
I have an ACC subscription, and have only logged in to Acrobat with an account that has one. Acrobat regularly prompts me to "upgrade my subscription" or "reactivate access," significantly interrupting workflow as I have to quit the program, try to log out and back in again, or other troubleshooting steps. This is one of many reasons I don't use Adobe products because I like them, but because there's no suitable alternative.

Bulk Convert .MSG Files Within the Adobe Acrobat DC Application
Following E-002325382 recommendations since the feature is not available. Adobe Acrobat DC does not provide the same level of flexibility for batch PDF creation as Foxit PDF Editor. In Foxit, users can select multiple file types (including Outlook .msg files), combine them into a single conversion job, and reorder the files before creating the PDF. Adobe Acrobat DC does not support this same workflow for .msg files, and file ordering and mixed-file batch selection may be more limited depending on the conversion method used.
This is especially beneficial when processing large batches of emails1 vote -
Error combining files.
Error combining file. When I try to combine files I always get a pop-up saying it is trying to connect to a printer and then I freezes. I have to do Alt-Cntl-Delete to exit Adobe.
It used to to it fine until they did a new update in June with a new AI feature. Please let me know how to fix it. Very disruptive.1 vote -
Read aloud online voices not working
The read aloud online voices are not working. The default voice does work. I am paying for the pro version and this feature suddenly stopped working today. Please fix it, as the problem is obviously on your end!

search
It would be really great to have a search function that can actually function. Please, forget this AI add-on stuff, and just work on good basic functions for your PDF reader. I'd like to be able to switch between a 2-up view with scrolling without having to REPEATEDLY go through several layers of menu. I would never use Reader if I didn't have to for work: it's awful. Bloated, cluttered, awkward, and basic functions work badly or not at all.

freeze
For some time now, the program has been freezing every time I open a document. It takes a few seconds for the program to respond again. This behavior occurs on both of my Windows computers (Acrobat-Version 2026.001.21691 | 64-Bit). It is unacceptable.

BUG: Disabling scrolling gives "Bad Parameter"
I have "Enable scrolling for all view types" pinned to the right side panel. Whenever I deactivate scrolling by clicking that button, and then try to click the up or down arrow to toggle through pages, I get a "Bad Parameter" error. It always happens when clicking the up or down arrow, and will occasionally happen as soon as I deactivate the button. It does not happen if I use the keyboard to toggle up or down.

Bug: Existing PDF Signatures Are Not Preserved During Adobe Sign Process
BUG: when using Adobe Sign to sign a PDF that already includes an electronic or digital signature from an external entity, the existing PDF Signatures are not preserved during Adobe Sign process.
Adobe Sign should verify if the uploaded PDF already include e-signatures, and if so, do not flatten the PDF and instead use the same PDF to apply a new signature on top, without flatten and removing all metadata.1 vote -
Custom Comment status
Useful function in previous comment made in 2017 quoted below was replied by Adobe to work on but yet to be incorporated in the latest adobe acrobat version in 2025:
Custom Comment Status Tags
It would be nice if users can create and manage custom status tags. Often when I'm addressing comments I use the status tags for organizing which comments I've addressed and how I address them. I turn them on and off to keep track of which one's I've addressed. For the most part they are usually accepted or rejected, but sometimes there are some that should be addressed by someone else, some that require further clarification, some that I simply want to put on the back-burner but don't want to see when I filter out comments that have not been addressed, and other types. The remaining options of "Cancelled" or "Completed" don't always fit and that has created confusion in the past. it would be nice if there were more options in order to improve the usefulness of the filtering tool and to eliminate confusion among reviewers.Hope Adobe can promptly incorporate this useful function.

We need the ability to see usage reports
Unfortunately there are already like 80 feature requests for usage reports. As a company, we view the lack of visibility into usage as a sign of adobe not wanting to be transparent with its users. We have no way to track how often people are using the product, which in turn is making us buy more seats constantly. I apprech the hustle, but dang, I will certainly be looking for new products to swap to and to remove us from this endless loop.

Request for Customizable Bookmarks Tool Panel Placement in Adobe Acrobat
Dear Adobe Support Team,
I am writing to share my frustration with the current version of Adobe Acrobat, specifically regarding the inability to move tool panels—such as the Bookmarks panel—to the left side or other locations within the application window. In previous versions, the placement of the Bookmarks panel and tools was on the left (which makes sense to be on the left), and it is essential for my daily workflow and productivity to keep it on the left. The recent interface changes have switched sides of all the tools, and now the Bookmarks panel is fixed on the right side, with no option to reposition it. This limitation disrupts my work and makes the software less user-friendly. Many users, including myself, rely on the ability to organize tools according to our needs.
I strongly urge Adobe to include the ability to move panels and tools, or to provide enhanced customization options in future updates. This change would help users like me work more efficiently and maintain the high standards we expect from Adobe products. We don’t have time to spend figuring out the new way to work, when we have WORK to get done quickly every day. This drastic change of tool / menu positioning is a serious time waster when there are deadlines that need to be met.
Thank you for listening to your users and considering our feedback.
Sincerely,
Jo HartDear Adobe Support Team,

The difference between "e-signature" and "digital signature" isn't clear from a user perspective within the AdobeSign interface.
The difference between "e-signature" and "digital signature" isn't clear from a user perspective within the AdobeSign interface. This is because EU law only distinguishes between the following three signature types: 1. Normal Signing; 2. Advanced Signing; and 3. Qualified Signing. Can better alternatives be devised for these names from a user perspective that would more clearly indicate the difference?
