Es gibt zwei Sorten von Shortcut-Dateien: *.URL, *.LNK.
Ein Doppelklick auf beide Arten öffnet das verknüpfte Dokument korrekt.
Beim Ziehen dieser Shortcut-Dateien auf den Adobe Reader werden vom ihm unterschiedliche Fehlermeldungen generiert (LNK.jpg, URL.jpg).
Es wäre nützlich, wenn der Adobe Reader solche Shortcut-Dateien auch bei Drag n Drop auflösen könnte.1 vote -
acrobat destroyed my text
It's the second time Adobe Acrobat Pro has literally destroyed all my text after I finished editing my file. I have to do it again now. If it happens again, I will cancel the subscription and find a good program, not this junk.

TEXT RECOGNITION IN PDF SO THAT WORDS CAN BE HIGHLIGHTED
The Convert Webpage to PDF, and Add Webpage PDF functions were completely destroyed by Adobe about 9 months ago. I requested fixes a couple of times and eventually Adobe restored these to much better functionality about a month ago. I responded that the functions were now good.
BUT I have since found that once the PDF is created from a webpage, there is no text recognition within the PDF. When I try to use the OCR recognition function, it responds "could not perform recognition because this page contains renderable text".

new font selection feature sucks
Hi,
I use Acrobat for wok daily, and use the font selection on a regular basis to format for legibility. I know exactly the fonts I am looking to select. The feature was working just fine before.
Then you decided to add a sentence about a brown fox jumping next to each font selection. As a result, you managed to slow down both the app and my workflow. Please revert the change!!! In recent versions of Acrobat, highlight annotations no longer have rounded corners. They used to be rounded and were much easier to read. P
Please add an option to choose rounded or sharp corners for highlight annotations.

Crashes & Freeze’s you must fix no matter what
I’m very tired of searching for all my PDF receipts and proformas across multiple WhatsApp chats. I spent 30 minutes on this, which is extremely frustrating.
During use, your software suddenly stops responding without any clear reason. After restarting the application, all previously opened tabs are lost.
Please fix this issue and add functionality that restores the same tabs after a crash or restart, similar to how browsers like Chrome or Edge work. Currently, after every crash, I have to search for all my PDFs and open them again from scratch.

"Highlight Current Bookmark" doesn't work
The "Highlight Current Bookmark" option doesn't work. It is very useful when it works, so it should be fixed.
Issue:
I have the "Highlight Current Bookmark" option enabled, and working bookmarks in my document. If scroll to a certain part of the document, or jump to it by navigating search results, no bookmark is highlighted. If I then enable "Expand Current Bookmark", the corresponding bookmark is expanded, and the highlighted boomark becomes visible. AI assistant takes too long to answer simple questions
Just downloaded the latest trial version of reader. AI assistant respond to simple questions. It says working on it for past 5 minutes! Too complicated and too many popups for a reader. I uninstalled it and found a better alternative PDF reader for free. Stop making this program more complicated than what users need to read a simple document.

The ability to search and replace the font of specific text thru the entire document would help speed my workflow tremendously.
Find a particular text string and replace the font of that text wherever it finds it in the document. I have to manually select and change every instance of a particular set of medical codes, because when printed the capital "i" looks like a lowercase "L" so scanners misread it. When the document is 90-100 pages this would be much faster if it had this feature like Microsoft Word does.

Make it easier to change file name, and with that get rid of the difference between file name and document title.
It is extremely complicated to change file names. Often time when downloading files I need to change the name. Having a file name and a document title is over complicated. This needs to be simpler, have "document properties" with file name ONLY (get rid of the whole document title stuff) on the left-hand menu actions. To me, this fiasco of changing titles and having two different names for a file is one of the things that make Adobe EXTREMELY inferior to other products.
