  2. Follow up bugs

    I have reported a bug with Adobe Acrobat DC (BUG ADC-4340785) for one of our end customers. This bug must be registered within Adobe. I would like to be able to follow the status of this bug to report back to our end customer periodically (status of the bug, cause once determined, planning for fix release,..)

  4. "Unified" 64-bit Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC isn't really unified

    Tl;dr: The new 64-bit version of Acrobat should work as Reader when not logged-in/assigned a license.

    In the era of work-from-home we now have all of our users logging into a multi user terminal server.

    On this server we recently installed the 64-bit version of Adobe since it's where the industry is moving to; however, we then discovered that once Adobe "upgrades" itself from Reader mode to Acrobat mode all of our reader only users cannot access the product.

  5. "Find" bug

    More results are being matched by the "find" box than should be. This occurs on my laptop fairly frequently - on some pdf's it works perfect, on others it does not. its intermittent. Can't attach a screenshot as my company prevents uploads to protect IP.

  7. Issue with copy-paste option in multiple languages

    With the new version of Acrobat, the copy-paste process between a PDF document and other text field, doesn't work properly. The special characters (i.e. French accents like é è à) don't show up anymore when we copy-paste without formatting. I spent three hours with the technical support and they finally said: "this is normal with the new version". The copy-paste process works like this now"...

  10. This you can consider as a feedback or complaint or clarification

    I have updated my billing details and received the invoice also. But, when I open a new pdf, repeatedly I am seeing a screen showing "Billing Issue" mentioning - There was a billing error - at the top.

  11. Editing name of a user in Admin center > users

    Administrators don't have the ability to change the name of the user after the license has been assigned to the email address. Ability to edit the name would help with user management in the scenario if the name was misspelled or not added. Currently only the user can change the name.

  12. Read aloud will not work for me

    Read aloud feature fails to work. It worked for me the first time I tried it, a couple weeks ago, but now it refuses to read (I don't hear anything) and I have verified that I am using it correctly. I tried following the suggestion to Turn off Protected Mode at Startup on a user forum, and that didn't help either. I'm uploading a file I was using as a test.

  14. Acrobat DC Pro : Compare PDF functions not good in latest version, classic version works good

    Adobe Acrobat Pro DC latest version cant the do these :
    1) Cannot unsynchronise the files
    2) Cannot split the old and new files in separate screens
    3) Cannot highlight words to enter comment

    These can be done in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC CLASSIC VERSION

    Please bring these back to the latest version. These functions are useful which is why the company purchased it.

  16. Problems with jpeg2000 in pdf since version 2021.011.20039

    Since the last update to version 2021.011.20039, Acrobat DC no longer displays PDFs with JPEG2000 compressed images. When loading, the error message 'Insufficient data for an image' appears. Previous versions of Acrobat DC had no problems with these files. Other viewers on the market can still display these PDFs.

    What's the mistake here? A problem in Acrobat DC or in the file?

  19. Stop using Internet Explorer for application logins, PLEASE !

    By way of background, we have investment managers that protect their Acrobat PDF files with remote sign-in via a third party portal (Intralinks).

    This used to be available until security settings via GP where set to block IE due to security issues.

    My complaint is no different to others and it is very poor of Adobe to not have created a solution when Microsoft stated that IE was coming to end of life on June 15 2022. Leaving a fix to this issue so close to this date is very poor.
