  2. Every time that I go to print a document, the bookmark screen is open. I want to disable it so that if I want to bookmark, I can, but not to have to close it every time that I go to print...it is tedious and a distraction...

  3. Can you stop showing the "TRY IT NOW" option after it's been selected once, as it get REALLY FKING annoying happening EVERY TIME you open Adobe Reader... seriously we know there is a new feature. I'm not going to use it just because of the number of times it has annoyingly popped up and stopped me getting on with what I actually trying to do. I subscribe to avoid annoying pop ups...

  6. I have updated my IOS to Sonoma and experience many issues with Adobe. including:
Slow to load (20-30 seconds with spinning wheel)
    errors such as:
The document could not be saved. A file I/O error has occurred.
    and:
The document could not be saved. Bytes not ready.
everytime I try to do something. We are paying for the subscription and I cannot use this product. What do I need to do to get it working again?

  7. When generating a PDF from InDesign at 5.5" wide by 8.5" tall, the PDF comes out as expected with no borders. I can even tweak the PDF settings to display 2UP in the window just like I want it to print.

From Acrobat, taking that borderless PDF and selecting the Acobat PDF printer installed in Windows, the second you select Multiple pages in the printer settings window, Acrobat adds a margin around each page. Even when selecting letter, custom letter, custom 5.5x8.5.

If I wanted margins on my multi-page PDF output I would have built them into my document. There…

  8. For month's I've been getting a small popup error EVERYTIME I open a pdf. I've followed the instructions provided but NOTHING ever fixed it. I don't know what the **** is going on at Adobe but I would have preferred they fixed errors FIRST.

Today I opened Acrobat and nothing looks the same. Some tools are in color, some are greyed out, No notice given and no list of the changes.

Is AI running the company now? If I had stock in Adobe I'd be giving it away right now. This market is prime for competition and I hope it…

  9. While you sit and figure out the stupid, illogical, and absolutely unreliable interface, why don't you allow users to downgrade to a supported version that both works, unlike this version, and is responsive, unlike this version!

Adobe, you have not provided any, let alone good customer service by releasing this POS software. You have unleashed a hellish nightmare on your customers with no way out. You are definitely going to lose customers over this. I am one of them. I have been using Adobe Acrobat Pro since it came out. You just wrecked it. Get it fixed or quit so…

  10. I am sure this is not a new request, but why is their no split screen sharing with adobe acrobat and other applications on Mac OS. I am starting my masters but if I have to keep switching between windows to study, well I will look for another application and cancel my subscription. (also you removed the define context feature which just seems another reason to move on).

  11. Message from Adobe: "If you are still using Acrobat 11.x or other older versions, please note that those are no more supported by Adobe. Try out the latest, Acrobat DC.

In case your concern is not addressed in the latest version, please report the issue against Acrobat DC."

I will translate this for you.

If you have software that you love and that works, that is responsive, and that is stable, please stop using it. We have something fantastic for you!

The interface is impossible to learn and understand,
    It regularly crashes,
    The scroll bars don't work,
    It regularly crashes, …

  13. The quick tool icons were changed after Acrobat X during the overhaul of Acrobat's UI to DC and beyond. One of them was to make the tools in the quick access all GRAY, and eliminate their COLOR unil the pointer hovers over it.

This was a terrible decision and backwards step from a usability standpoint. Humans interact in their environment by perceiving things in color, lots of colors, and rely on color to understand and navigate the world. While shape outlines are one point of information to understand what a thing is, color adds considerable information to that mental processing…

  14. Please ungroup the Pan and Select icons in the toolbar. As an engineer who goes through dozens and dozens of PDF'd prints every day, the added step of switching between the two has become cumbersome very quickly. Here's the background: when I receive a D-sized print I need to be able to zoom in and then pan around, and usually do so quickly. I thought nothing of the change (once I figured out they were grouped), but it's slowly become annoying. There's plenty of space over there.

  15. I had been working on multiple PDF files that I had opened via email and via my computer's file explorer and then as I was attempting to open another file via the home tab in the top left, the application said something about maintenance being complete and then forcing me to restart my Adobe session without being able to view or save the documents I had open at the time. Then when I did close Acrobat, and attempted to open the files I had open, it froze and I had to restart my computer 2 times before it worked properly…

  16. It is tiring to deal with ever changing technology. The previous interface was so user friendly and everything was working smoothly. There is no reason for your company to spend resources on ever updating and changing interfaces. It confuses the users and creates more tech support request. Some things are best to be kept as is as they are working perfectly.

  17. Adobe makes the top bar with 'File Edit, View, E-Sign, Window, Help disappear.
I have to keep hitting F9 to make it return. Please stop it. I want those choices to stay put on the screen. When the bar disappears, I can't move the window to a new location on the desktop. Hitting F9 is constantly a burden while having Adobe open, and it does not always work consistently.

  19. The locations of the "Cancel" and "OK" buttons when saving documents to reduced-size files seem to have switched. In most applications, "OK" is on the left and "Cancel" is on the right, but for this specific function, they seem to be the opposite, leading to accidental canceling.

  20. It used to work perfectly, but recently the display theme keeps switching back to light gray whenever I open Acrobat. It is highly annoying to have to switch the view settings every single time I use the app.
