  1. I recreate a new post instead commenting last one, just to make sure it was taken as important it’s supposed to be, as a critical issue!
 Hoping you could create another hot fix for this major problem. 
We are now on macOS Sonoma 14.2.1 and Acrobat Pro version 2023.008.20458. 

    1: when we use Text tool and select a text to modify all the page became white and we cannot see anything.
    2:There is also another problem when we scroll the pages, everything become white also.
    3: We are no longer even able to check the preflight result, blank pages…

  3. Make liquid mode for desktops so I can resize the window for taking notes or sharing and easier to highlight and copy text to a notes file without all the line breaks

  4. When opening a pdf file for first time and try to do some operations (like scrolling, highlight, marking or save other type etc), the software freezes for like 30s to a minute.. and the works fine. (it is not crashing). Thereafter even after opening multiple files an doing any changes, works smoother. But once I close the adobe acrobat completely, and then open a pdf file, then this problem repeats. I had tested it for past 1 month and this appears. Please resolve this issue. It is really ******* off!

  5. I have a PDF document created from a Latex file, rendered via xelatex/MikTex. The document contains several section bookmarks as well as internal hyperlinks (hyperref package) to some of those bookmarks.

    When I open the PDF in Acrobat Reader (on Windows 10, Vers 2023.008.20458) and i click on one of those hyperlinks, Acrobat crashes instantly. However if I click on one of the bookmarks (regardless if linked or not) in the "Bookmarks"-sidepanel (acrobat scrolls to the bookmark then) and AFTER THAT scroll back and click on the same hyperlink, it works without issues.

  6. I'm really confused: every time I open a file Adobe Acrobat DC freezes for several seconds, as if it is trying to connect to the network before it can continue. This wastes a lot of time every time because it ends up freezing for 10 seconds or more. This situation is unacceptable. I bought the original product instead of using compatible shareware just to have the highest quality. I expect that when I upload a file, it will be available immediately.

  7. Description : We would like to restrict the ‘save as pdf’ option for Encrypted/Do not forward emails only.
    Why the feature is needed : Currently we are able to use the ‘save as pdf’ option for Encrypted/Do not forward outlook emails - hence able to save and share the such emails to other users (who are not supposed to receive the info). Hence, we would need this restriction to eliminate the security gap.

  8. STOP updating this. The people doing the updates have no idea how this is used product is used. Every update is a massive learning, takes weeks to figure simple stuff

  9. Adobe constantly crashes and freezes. I pay for a subscription and I am very very close to canceling it. It is ridiculous that I can't even do my job and pay out the *** for something that doesn't work. VERY FRUSTRATED!

  10. We've had multiple dozens of users button break on Adobe reader, standard and pro where the Send by email/ attatch PDF as attatchment within the adobe application breaks. When clicked it breaks the application and freezes it for about 5 minutes until it errors out. The only way to get rid of the break is to end it from task manager. This was on multiple systems with different versions of Adobe, Windows 10 (1909, 20h2, 22h2), and software versions.

  11. When I use acrobat, I often need to navigate in the menu with all the tools so it is conviennent for me to have this menu open all the time. But the new menu is taking to much space in my screen, I wish I can see (maybe has an option) only the icons. There was a option like this in the previous interface. (picture 1 = the menu that I speak of)

  12. Make straight lines with the highlight text tool and drawing tools by holding shift, just like holding shift with the draw line tool. PLEASE.
    Maybe also give the highlighter the clickable option to choose between freehand highlight, straight line highlight, and recognizable text; and lock the option preference until we manually change it.

  13. I want to remove some of the tool or change their order but the «default» tools cannot be change. For example, for me I never use the signature tool so it is annoying to always have this tool in my bar.

    I also agree with other comments I saw that the tool bar should not overlap the content of the PDf.

  14. Since the Adobe Acrobat Update in December with version 23.008.2042x, our
    coworkers reporting Adobe Acrobat crashes.

    Steps to reproduce the issue:
    We found out, it is only, when opening the pdf and click instant a linked document (another pdf) on a fileshare, so that you hover the link, it does not display the full URL.

    Expected result:
    Opening the hyperlink / another document.

    Observed result
    If you wait around 3-5 seconds, and the mouse hover shows the full link, than Adobe does not crash, and asks with security dialog, if you want to open this file.

  16. I am not sure what the point of this "feature request / bug report" is. I am trying to "provide feedback". In this case, I would like to complain about the big blue share button that is disallowing me from seeing the tool items that I actually need to see and use. Instead I have to see this big useless blue share button. If I want to share, there is a tool for that, and if I wanted that tool, I would have added it to my toolbar.

  17. The user name seems to draw its data from the Adobe account on record. There my name has an accent. In the Identity section in the Acrobat settings I entered my name without an accent as this obviously still leads to some display issues.

    Maybe this could be changed so that the display name for the comment is taken from the “Name” in the Identity settings.

    There are so many names with diacritics worldwide and they probably get all spelled in a wrong way.

  18. Access to our most used actions in a toolbar is excellent, but the floating toolbar is so annoying because it is on top of the content of the opened document. It would be better if we could customise where the toolbar should be and have the ability to dock it without it so it is not on top of the content.
    Older versions of Adobe Acrobat Pro allowed it to be on the top horizontally, which used to work perfectly for me. Please let users decide how best to interact with Adobe Acrobat Pro.

  19. Adobe Acrobat seems to be having trouble performing when "Read out loud".

    Well trying to highlight the document I run into multiple load times and even crashing, when not activated, these problems are nonexistent. I want to optimize Adobe Acrobat better so this isn't a continued issue.

    With Adobe working with AI for its other apps(Ps, Ai, etc.)
    maybe Adobe should work on and upgrade the Voices available in the reader, which compared to most text-to-voice models out there now, sound severely outdated. That shouldn't be the image Adobe wants to reflect, right?
