  1. The Merge Data Files into Spreadsheet feature works great until the form has a signature added to it. After the form is signed only a few of the fields are exported. It's as if the data elements have been truncated.

    To replicate... create a form with many data fields (populated) and a signature field but without requesting a signature. Do the Merge Data Files into Spreadsheet... it works great.

    Repeat the Merge Data Files into Spreadsheet function but this time after requesting a signature. This time the spreadsheet created has minimal data.

  2. The switch of the panels n the new version are very difficult to use and counter to the direction in which one reads. It is much more intuitive and natural to read (and click) tabbed sections of a document on the left then continue reading to the document. This was a silly and unproductive change. We should at least be able to change the sides of the panels.

  3. You may not know this, but this software is a business tool. I literally CANNOT work with this AFU version of Adobe. Can I get back to the USEFUL version where the tool bar is on the right side? I spend 90% of my workday trying to untard the changes made by updates. It's like you all don't want us to use your software.

  4. I don't like the new update so I saw we had the option to switch back to the old version, which I did. It wad working just fine for me. Have you ever heard, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'? I only want to update a date I added at the top of the page, but now we CANNOT change the size of the text box even in the old version. So when I try to make the update, it changes more of the text that I want it to and screws up the top of the document.

  6. Adobe esign is completely broke with recent update on forms that are filled out and then sent for signature. After filling out the form, then click send for signature, everything gets wiped out, and all that is left is a "text" box. There was a work around by using the online portal and dropping the filled form into the loader, but now that's broke too. The only fill and send for signature means we have is through the mobile app, but I am sure that will be broke soon too as they continue to push this latest update. This is…

  7. Adobe closes immediately after clicking Recognize Text in the Scan & OCR tool or Optimize Scanned Pages in the Optimize PDF tool. This occurs on the Windows 10 desktop version. I've tried checking for updates (already up to date) and repairing the installation.

  8. Ever since the last update, when I change the output options for splitting pages they seem to be ignored. I like to split into 1 page, with NO label and NO separator. Even when I uncheck the boxes for these things the files are still labeled with PART and _. I have also deleted these from the prefilled boxes and they still show up. This costs me extra time since I have to alter the file names of each page to delete the label and separator.

  9. I can't access my account which is through my google account. I try signing in, it claims that i am all set, and yet the application keeps telling me to sign in. How do I fix this?

  10. The pallet of colours for the highlight could be floated on the screen I was able to paste a highlight in any colour and then change it.
    Now changing the highlight colour is a slow process of opening the colour menu every time.

  12. There is an Adobe Acrobat user manual as a pdf on the Adobe website, but it is 2019 and shows very different screen prints to what the screen in Adobe Acrobat Pro looks like.

    Please provide a PDF user manual. I know there are help screens if you are on the internet, but it's a pain clicking link after link after link after link and it's too hard to flick back and forth between the web page and your own adobe page.

    Please give better service to users.

  13. I have just bought and downloaded Adobe Acrobat Pro. However, in Adobe Creative Cloud it merely says "Acrobat". When I open Adobe Acrobat, It is merely labelled "Acrobat" WITHOUT clearly stating that it is Acrobat PRO. In Adobe Creative Cloud application, it says "Acrobat", again without saying what version.

    I've paid a HUGE amount for Adobe Acrobat Pro and cannot confirm anywhere that I have received that "Pro" version instead of basic Acrobat.

    This is really poor of Adobe, and I'm very doubtful as to what version of Acrobat I have.

  14. In my previous version of Adobe Acrobat Pro, there was a button on top right in Google Chrome to "print to Adobe Acrobat". Then if I went to another Google web page, there was an option for Adobe Acrobat to "add to existing PDF".

    This seems to all be gone. I can't even find where the Adobe Acrobat Pro extension is in Google Chrome.

    Make it more straightforward. If the "add to existing PDF" feature is gone, then bring it back.

  15. I have had Adobe Acrobat Pro for years and have just changed to Adobe Acrobat Pro within Creative Cloud.

    I am thoroughly frustrated with the screen layout.

    There is a toolbar OVER the top of the document area. There is a huge blank space at the top of the page that COULD be used to show menu items such as Search - but it is just a big blank. Ditto the right hand side of the screen.

    Overall, far too much screen space has been wasted. Menus "hidden" by having to select various tabs. This has NOT been designed with…

  16. Two features essential to me are either gone or hidden so that I can't find them in the new version. They are important for me in my work as a translator.

    1. In the previous version, there was a "windows" tab at the top that enabled me to open a second copy of the same file and then drag it so that the two copies appeared as separate tabs in a single Acrobat window.   17. We need to retain the “Password to view document” feature. This relates to client’s Personal Data Protection. Where emails are compromised, this acts as an final defense against any form if sensitive data being leaked out.

  19. Everytime I open a pdf that I've saved from Word as a pdf; Adobe shows the name of that file as "September 30, 2010" regardless that the file has a different name. This has become especially disruptive in dealing with Signatures, because it looks like I keep sending out the same file name, and I have to rename it when it's completed.

    And when submitting this.. Adobe won't recognize my registered name and password that I've been able to log into adobe with on the next tab.

  20. Whatever changes made up the most recent update has ruined my user experience. Every action I try to take encounters an error message. Please advise how I undo the most recent update to get back to some semblance of a useful tool.
