  1. Please add the extract files button back. This is the main feature I use and it now is taking twice as long. How am I supposed to invoice my client for additional time because YOUR software has changed?!
    If your developers cannot be bothered doing that then at lease let us have a button to set so we don't have to click that **** thing EVERY SINGLE TIME!
    THIS IS A VERY INCONVENIENT CHANGE for those of us who extract a huge amount of documents.

  2. When a file and path name exceeds about 255 characters, which we have recently breached with backup systems, our archive PDFs do not open in Adobe. However, if we open them in other programs, they will open fine, but we need to be able to edit them, which leaves us having to copy the files out of their long path into a shorter path, make the changes, and copy the file back. If other programs have the ability to open long file paths, then it should be able to do so in a 64 bit digital age.

  3. The new quick action tool bar floats over the document covering contents. the panning of the document is also limited to the edge of the "paper" so these contents cannot be seen without zooming far in or far out.

    This could be overcome if the display allowed for a buffer space around the page so the view could be drug past the edge of the paper. This way the document could be drug out from under the quick action toolbar.

  6. Received non-electronically signed document, but could not print document with signature (it does not show on the printout); technician directed me to open document in Reader in order to print the image with the signature. If I normally work in Adobe Acrobat Pro and I open all my documents with it, should I be able to print my documents from the same program? Would love to not have to think about this every time I want to print something that was signed separately.

  7. I have to Uninstall and re install Adobe about 3 to 4 times a month on both of my computers due to a "internal error reported". I run repairs and spend hours trying to fix these issues to only do the same thing over and over with uninstalling and installing again. I have even contacted Quickbooks to see if it is maybe on their end but they can't figure it out either. If there is a bug that needs fixing please do so.

  8. When the highlight text tool is being used, i can't highlight continuous texts in different pages, I think that adobe should make this possible, is more intuitive.

    On the other hand, i can simply select the text whitout the highlight tool selected and with the pop up setting i can then highlight the text, but if I erase the highlihted text on one page, the highlighted text in the other page will remain highlighted

  9. Our user is using Adobe Acrobat Pro, she said after she updated to the latest version (2023.001.21043), the fill&sign cannot show latest hints any more, the text typed before update can still show in the hints, but after updated, the new typed text cannot store in the hints record.

    We already tried to reinstall the Adobe Cloud and Adobe Acrobat, but the same problem presist

    We already checked in the settings, the auto complete/auto-fill inside the table option (not sure the english name, I just transalted it) is enabled
    We are using traditional chinese version

  10. It's unbelievably hard to just resize an object when Editing PDFs. The handles that appear for this purpose are almost impossible to grab - half a micron off, and you're in rotational mode instead. What's with that? How often do you have to rotate an object compared with resizing it?
    This has been so frustrating, in the past, I've just started a project again from scratch if that meant I could use a more user-friendly program rather than spend 5 minutes just trying to grab the edge of an object. It's just too frustrating.

    1. It is extremely hard to find things. Just as an example, I struggled with as simple a task as printing. It is not at all obvious to find the print button. No other application I use makes this as difficult as your new UI.
    2. This may either be another example of point 1, or the function is missing. Where is the button to display info about the application? The "About Acrobat" button? I can't find it.
    3. The application wastes massive amounts of my screen space. Stick to the purpose of the application and just display the document. I don't need…

As per the title - when printing a PDF using the Adobe PDF Function, it doesn't actually resize the page, meaning when I want to use it in an app that doesn't support resizing/scaling, it's basically useless? Why else would I want to take a PDF and "print" another PDF from it if not changing the actual file itself?

    For example, I want to be able to resize a bigger PDF down to A4 size. The selections are all there in page setup - it just doesn't actually do any of it though.

  12. I work in the legal industry and we often have large collections of documents where some contain OCR while others require OCR. It would be great if we could easily identify the documents that require OCR to speed up the batch processing of large collections. Additionally, with the availability of LLMs and image recognition, it would be great if you could utilize these to vastly improve the quality of the OCR output.

  13. Since signing up for Adobe, I was double billed. THe is no point of contact to resolve the issue. I cancelled one of the two ads and my access was promptly removed. I am still being charged. there is no customer service. what can I do?

  14. When I convert a Word document into a PDF and there is a tilde in a URL, the URL changes the tilde to %7E in my URLs. I then have to go through all the URLs in the PDF and manually edit them to contain the tilde. I use the Acrobat toolbar in Word to create my PDFs on a Windows system. This issue has been going on for a long time.

  16. The new interface is nice, but I really use the drag and drop a lot as I do Graphic Design and Design production where I have multiple projects in different folders and drives. I send out approval PDFs and it saves time and hassle to drop what I see in Acrobat into my eMail and Slack chats (and sometimes copy to another folder). I hope you can put that back in some way with the new interface. Luckily tech support showed me how to revert to the old interface. :)

  17. I have Acrobat Pro and tried to scan a pdf with OCR which gave me a message which said something about I have to pay for the OCR feature. This led me to finding the below support doc indicating OCR is part of Acrobat Pro.

    Clicking on the same exact button again it brought up the ocr tools instead of displaying the message, but I wouldn't have necessarily thought to try the same thing twice until after searching the web for which adobe product I would need to purchase to use OCR in Acrobat Pro (it's built in as it…
