  1. I've found a bug in the document cloud. I have several agreements that were sent out for signature by 4 signers. Some of these agreements are showing 3 of 4 completed in the status column but when you review the activity it shows that all 4 signers have completed the signature. Is there a way to force a record update to correct this?

  3. I use multiple cloud providers for storage, all of which provide an option for a local synchronized folder, providing Explorer/Finder access to cloud-based files and folders. Many of these are free, though I do pay for extra functionality. With a paid solution like Acrobat Pro, there is no logical reason why Adobe does not offer this option already. I would rather use Adobe Scanner to scan a document and be able to access it minutes later on my desktop, than use a lesser, third-party app to scan my documents and jump through hoops to curate and OCR the file and…

  4. We need PDFMaker logs from Outlook, specially when we try to convert folders or files from outlook there is no tool that can provide that.
We only have logs for Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  5. When you select, flag a chapter for accessibility, the flags could be of multiple colors, red for important, green for interesting and orange for read later.
And not remain gray as unselected chapters.

  6. I just got notified that someone sent me a file to sign. I clicked on the notification and I get taken to the Home screen - Recent. I see a list of files (most of which are files I have signed) and I can see when the file was last opened. I would like to see what actions have been taken or more importantly are needed (signing for instance). Or, clicking on that notification should take me to a screen that shows me the files I need to sign and if I am up to date (because the notification came…

  7. On Adobe Acrobat versions 7, 8, and 9, I have been able to utilize the Acrobat Access 3.0 Type Library and the Adobe Acrobat 10.0 Type Library to Save a PDF using Visual Basic for Applications. This is done in MS Access. In Acrobat DC, these libraries, the functionality I utilize is missing.

    Code attached.

  8. Reader version 2022.003.20263 (latest as of 11/10/22) Emailing does not work

We have a fillable PDF form that emails the data. The form has been working for years. Uninstalling Reader and installing an older version makes the emailing feature work again. Updating to the latest version, makes it stop working.

The email preference setting in Reader is set to a Gmail account. With Reader version 2021.001.20135 after clicking the submit button a browser window opens and allows you to log into the Gmail account and Reader creates the message in the Drafts folder (as it should). Upgrade to Reader version…

  9. Add a collation feature to Combine Files to select each source file's layout, ie 1-10 or 10-1, odd page numbers or even, etc, then what order they will merge in. So that if I scan a document on an automatic document feeder with pages 1-10 odd only, then flip the pages and rescan immediately from 10-1 even pages, the software will be able to collate the pages from 1-10 in the correct order. Include original file orientation so they can be automatically flipped 180 degrees too. This would be very handy for large scans on a single-side ADF scanner. Thank…

  10. Its currently not possible to select a default measurement unit. The default is Imperial (inches / Feet).

As a paid subscription, it should be possible to select a default measurement unit/ type, considering only 3 countries in the world recognise imperial as their official unit of measurement it seems crazy that A/ the default is imperial, and B) that it cannot be changes to Metric.

  11. A user tasked me with auto populating the date field with the date a field was signed on.

The digital ID has a feature that shows when the ID was placed in the signature field, but it would be nice to have a feature where when one field is filled, another field is populated, depending on the desired action.

  12. I'd like an Acrobat utility that permits one to swipe to the next page, or use a key to turn the page, so the PDF becomes more like a book. Here's an example of such software: https://www.1stflip.com/page-turning-software.html

There are many products out there. I like Acrobat Reader and I'd like something that integrates perfectly with it, and with my existing Adobe subscription.

I think the idea, and the value of the idea, is self-explanatory. It's an extension of the creative possibilities that is key to your marketing.

    Thank you.

  13. Paint has the tools needed for commenting on eg a Music Score under PDF. Why re-invent the wheel with the clumsy clunky and partly unavailable Adobe Drawing tools under 'Edit'. Suggest collaboration with Paint and huge de-cluttering of the highly confusing and awfully corporate Adobe platform. Pro very poor value and re set password an Odyssean journey.

  14. Reading mode based on browser Reading Mode function. I'm aware that Acrobat already has a "reading mode" but that just hides UI elements. Reading Mode in browsers such as Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge extracts the text from the page, strips away all formatting rules such as fonts and colours and re-displays the text in a pre-set format in the user's selected font.

This is helpful when the page is poorly designed and hard to read. I am looking at research papers for my projects and find the single-spaced Times New Roman formatting hard to read so this would be…

  15. I am using the 64 bit version of DC Pro in Windows 11. When I want to "save-as" to another folder and rename the file it immediately crashes when "Choose a Different Folder" is selected. "About" in the the "Help" area is not an option and I can't find it anywhere to get the DC Pro version. It crashes no matter what PDF document I try using "Save As". I am trying to save to a NAS - Synology. This was never an issue using the 32 bit version only with the newly installed 64 bit version.

  18. When inserting a page into an A4 document, it should have the option to either retain its current page size OR be scaled to adapt to the document page size. I phoned support this morning and they said the ONLY way to do this is to take the new page, print it to A4, save it and then insert the saved file into the document. Please correct to the above.

  19. Acrobat Pro has stopped processing BPDX files again. This has been working for me for more than a year, and suddenly stopped working after 18 October 2022 (approximately Acrobat version 2022.003.20263).

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Create an Acrobat catalog index file; e.g. C:\Flare Destinations\MasterTerminal-PDFs\JMTIndex.pdx.
    2. Create a a BPDX file named C:\Flare Tools\PDFIndex.bpdx with the contents "C:\Flare Destinations\MasterTerminal-PDFs\JMTIndex.pdx /build"
    3. Run Acrobat from the Command Prompt with:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe" "C:\Flare Tools\PDFIndex.bpdx"

    Environment:
Windows 10 Pro 21H2 OS Build 19044.2130 and Acrobat Pro Continuous Release Version 2022.003.20263

    Expected Result:
Acrobat Pro will open and build the PDF search index.
