OCR for very wide PDFs (J16, J24, J32, J40, J48)
My industry has a need to perform OCR on very wide PDF. J16 is essentially two E-size drawings wide, and J48 is 6 E-size drawings wide.
Today, Acrobat DC Pro (and its predecessor) give "Unknown error" when trying to do OCR on such a large PDF.
I am asking Nitro and Adobe to enhance their tools to support such wide PDFs, so OCR can work.

Add a single-command function to create new layers for all pages in the same pdf file
ask for one single command to create new layer(s) on all pages for note taking purposes. easy to toggle between showing and hiding the notes.
Now users can only create new layer page by page by "importing layers" from files. Adobe should bring in the similar function available in Photoshop which allow users to create a blank layer(s) for all pages of a pdf file in a single command, and let users to enter notes, comments or other annotations on the selected layers. readers can then switch the layer between visible and hiding depending on the use scenario.

Change default open screen to Tools Tab Adobe DC Pro.
I would like to be able to open Adobe DC Pro and it already be on the Tools tab instead of the Home tab.
I think this could be accomplished by having this as setting to give users a choice.

Font glitch in combined pdfs
When combining multiple pdf documents, it's been found that if those documents were batch-converted from docx to pdf through Windows Explorer right-click 'Convert to PDF' option, combined as sub-sections/parts/chapters, then combined together again to generate a complete document, that the final compiled pdf document will generate numerous font glitches in specific font types.
While the first-stage pdf conversions & combine-as-pdf (step-1&2) appear normal, when the resulting pdfs are combined into a single pdf file (step-3), the font glitches occur. This may manifest of dropped letters, unexplained spacing, odd formatting, or otherwise unintelligible text. We noticed this in our section headers…

Custom Redaction Pattern Not Displaying In Acrobat
I need to redact driver's license numbers from about 1200 PDF pages in Acrobat DC. There is no redaction pattern for driver's license numbers. I found tutorials on how to add custom redaction patterns. I created an updated version of the program's "SearchRedactPatterns" xml. I uploaded the updated version to replace the xml that was already there using a file path shown in multiple tutorials. Color Code Comments
I review documents with comments from several coworkers. I'd like the option of having each commenter assigned a color. Then I would be able to scan the comments for a particular color to address that person's comments.
Right now, I can filter comments by person, but that removes everyone else's marks/comments from the page. I can sort the comments by date, so I just look at the newest ones, but that doesn't include replies to comments. And it makes it hard to get to the other comments on the same page.

BUG: Acrobat DC randomly making text or images disappear when changing reading order
When reordering the reading order of items on the pages of an audit report, Acrobat randomly removed text on pages that I wasn't even looking at. I tested it out on another file and discovered the text disappears when you hit save. Up until then everything appears fine.
Acrobat was also making random layers of embedded pdf maps disappear when when trying to add alternative text, and there is no option to simply edit the SLUG text instead.

It would be great to be able to have an option to select "Sign all fields" on a electronic pdf document. (Both Initials and Full SIgnatures)

Build in user options for auto-delete agreements for Data Protection
For data protection reasons we cannot hold completed agreements past a particular period of time. At the moment it is a tedious and extremely inefficient manual process to delete documents one at a time via a buried search menu. Please create the ability for users to set rules for types of agreements to be auto-deleted after a specified period. This is standard on many software packages which hold any personal information and should be an option here.

Add support for nested alternate text in lists
When tagging lists, I frequently encounter symbols or acronyms that need actual text. Removing them from the list would actually make the pdf less accessible. Why isn't this a feature?

Forms that require me to fill in do not work as Acrobat doesn't allow
I have an IRS form that needs to be filled out and signed but the sections that require being filled are not allowed by Acrobat even with the free trial.

Feedback issue
I thought we were supposed to be able to feedback on the app, not just post feature requests or bug reports? Is this just to restrict us from complaining?
My feedback is that the current Acrobat is still as terrible as it was when it was first introduced. None of the team appear to listen to a word of criticism and carry on forcing this horrendous bag of spanners down our CC throats. It's a blot on Adobe's vision and should be rethought completely. Document not saving
When I try to save a document after editing the form; I get a document cannot save, try saving under a different file name. Then it automatically deletes my document and goes right into my trash. When I try to retore and open the document it then gives me an error "There was an error opening this document. Access denied." but I could open the document on the drive online. Advertising beta features within the app
I did not sign up to beta test new features, so I do not understand why you are testing this in my account.
Further, this is not the first time this and similar intrusions into my account have happened. I do not want be disturbed by giant pop-ups when I'm working because Adobe has an unrelated "suggestion."
In this case, I don't have a lot of use for signature related features, and it's distracting.
