  1. Our user is using Adobe Acrobat Pro, she said after she updated to the latest version (2023.001.21043), the fill&sign cannot show latest hints any more, the text typed before update can still show in the hints, but after updated, the new typed text cannot store in the hints record.

We already tried to reinstall the Adobe Cloud and Adobe Acrobat, but the same problem presist

We already checked in the settings, the auto complete/auto-fill inside the table option (not sure the english name, I just transalted it) is enabled

  2. As per the title - when printing a PDF using the Adobe PDF Function, it doesn't actually resize the page, meaning when I want to use it in an app that doesn't support resizing/scaling, it's basically useless? Why else would I want to take a PDF and "print" another PDF from it if not changing the actual file itself?

For example, I want to be able to resize a bigger PDF down to A4 size. The selections are all there in page setup - it just doesn't actually do any of it though.

  4. When I convert a Word document into a PDF and there is a tilde in a URL, the URL changes the tilde to %7E in my URLs. I then have to go through all the URLs in the PDF and manually edit them to contain the tilde. I use the Acrobat toolbar in Word to create my PDFs on a Windows system. This issue has been going on for a long time.

  5. The new interface is nice, but I really use the drag and drop a lot as I do Graphic Design and Design production where I have multiple projects in different folders and drives. I send out approval PDFs and it saves time and hassle to drop what I see in Acrobat into my eMail and Slack chats (and sometimes copy to another folder). I hope you can put that back in some way with the new interface. Luckily tech support showed me how to revert to the old interface. :)

  6. Acrobat has already added a feature to allow users to set a default zoom level for new bookmarks.

I would like a similar feature to added for links that a user creates that "go to a page view".

When I create an index page in a document, I often add links to the index that will take the user to the particular items. It is my preference (much like with bookmarks) to have these links set to "inherit zoom". Unfortunately, there is no way to set a default zoom level of "inherit zoom" for new links.

    Doing this manually is…

  8. Since the recent update, I find I need to hold the window in position for a few seconds in order for it to stay where I put it. This is also the case when resizing a window. Unless I hold it in the new size for a few seconds, it just snaps back to the old size. THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN BEFORE. PLEASE FIX.

  10. Experiencing errors in QuickBooks is pretty much common, as it involves a bunch of algorithms. One such error code is payroll error 15101. This segment is drafted in a way to provide the best possible assistance to troubleshoot the QuickBooks error code 15101 successfully that too from its root cause. This error is often experienced when you try to update QuickBooks desktop or payroll tax tables. When trying to get the latest release for the QuickBooks, an error might appear on the screen stating that the update process can’t be completed. This error is basically a run-time error that can…

  11. It's not respecting MacOS conventions or your users to change their default PDF program without asking. Having to contend with your licensing system makes it even more inappropriate for an essential utility.

  12. After the last Windows-Update, several users suddenly could not save edited PDF forms by simply clicking the save icon as before.

Acrobat changed the name of the document and gave this message,"The document could not be saved. The document cannot be saved to this filename. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder."

I have found a few workarounds online:

    1. Users can close the File Explorer window before attempting to save the document. This doesn't work all the time and can therefore be frustrating.

    2. Users can click on the original document in the save dialog…

  15. I used Acrobat for pdf edit and I didn't find fastest way to change the font for the entire pdf. I had to edit 1 by 1 pages to change it.

  16. This just started in the past week. When I edit a PDF, usually by dragging pages from another PDF, sometimes is will lose the original filename, create a new one that seems to be a random string of characters followed by .tmp. If I do "Save As', it tries to save it under that .tmp filename. I have to go back to where I originally opened the document and save over the one I started with. It doesn't happen every time, but I would guess about 70% of the time. I had to do this no less than 15 times…

  17. I have built a big Webform and need to edit the text in the underlying PDF.

The instructions say "Editing does not allow Changing the underlying file (eg: change the underlying file, page order, page orientation)".
Do I really have to edit the PDF and upload it again and rebuild all of the fields?

Adobe can't expect people to recreate a webform every time they need to make a change to the PDF. Adobe could easily fix this by adding a text tool. I can't spend hours recreating over 50 fields just for a little text change.

    How about a…

  18. The latest app update has been very confusing. Previously, Adobe reader had a red logo and Acrobat pro had a white logo. An update occurred and Pro now has a red logo and the name of the app on my desktop is just 'Adobe Acrobat'. I thought that my Adobe pro had been uninstalled and landed up wasting time with customer services to help me re-install it. Then when I opened a PDF I saw Acrobat Pro written at the top. What an unnecessary waste of time. Dont make changes like this when you have an established product. If you…
