  2. Currently, Adobe Acrobat Pro must be connected directly to the scanning device in order to create PDFs via scanner. Other scanning programs can scan wirelessly, so this should be possible. I'd prefer to use my printer via wifi, but it appears I'll have to connect it via a USB cable only for Acrobat Pro. Would be great if you could add this wifi feature to Acrobat so that this is not required. Thank you.

  3. I am a scientist. In my field we process and review many pdf documents and need to take notes on these documents to perform proper experiments.Often we are combining knowledge from several pdf sources by writing notes on the sides. I am requesting you make personal commenting and highlighting available on locked pdf documents. It is very annoying to have to print and jot notes and underline text of importance. Often our documents are hundreds of pages long and this is not practical. Find a way to allow these features in a locked pdf document. Perhaps this could be done…

  4. It MUST - absolutely MUST (!!!) be possible to use a version of 'Fill and Sign' that allows your form to be edited (maybe by you and only you) after you've saved it. For Adobe to keep saying 'it's not editable after you've saved it is pointless. For things like applications and long forms etc., you don't get things right first time, you have to go back and change figures etc, so either Adobe decide to make an editable version, or people use something else.

At the moment, a pencil and a rubber is a better alternative. Please don't just…

    Hi,

The changes you made inside Fill and Sign app becomes non-editable when you save the PDF after placing an Signature/Initial on the PDF. This is by design since placing the signature/initial is generally the last step in filling a form.

You can always edit your changes before you place the signature/initial.

  5. We have a problem when we open the PDF file with Adobe Reader DC (the latest version), it changes the font in certain words. The problem arose as soon as we installed the DC program. However, if PDF opens with Google Chrome, it will show us the normal font as it should be. So I do not know what the problem would be? Below are pictures for an easier idea of what the problem looks like.

  6. Adobe gives you a trail key witch you can change every 7 day so you can get free Adobe forever. You don't need to be a pro programmer to do this and you don't need a third party programs to get free trail for ever. And it updates so its not like other cracked versions you can download for Pirate Bay or sites like that. In my opinion you should have only 1 key that is supported by the program for trail version of the program. And for bought products you should have some like encrypted keys so people don't…

  7. The Page Size on a PDF is 10.00 x 7.5 in but I am trying to print to 11 x 8.5 in. The printer is requesting 16k paper which I don't have. When I click ignore then it cuts off part of the document.

  8. When I start using the "Fill and Sign" function, it shuts down. Nothing gets saved either. It keeps happening. I tried to download my document, re-download the document, printed and scanned the document, and it is still doing it. I tried all of the fixes that were listed on the website and then restarted the computer and nothing was fixed.

    Hi,

We recently made some fixes in Fill and Sign area. I request you to please update your application to the latest version by going to Help > Check for Updates.

Please let us know if you are still able to observe the crash on the latest build.

  9. When opening Acrobat DC, we should be able to get back automatically the active opened tabs from previous session. This way it would be easier to follow up with work by continuing where work was left off before closing the program

  12. If your Mac is on a network where it does not have Internet access, Adobe Acrobat Pro crashes. If you start the program, the Apple Beachball appears after about 5 seconds and the program is no longer usable. It seems that Adobe Acrobat tries to log in with the user account, but this is not possible due to the lack of Internet access.

I have installed the latest MacOS version (10.14.3) and also the latest Acrobat Pro version (19.10.20091.315611).

I was also able to reproduce the problem in another network and with a new clean MacOS on another computer.

  13. When using Acrobat DC and Preview concurrently; performance on DC is by far inferior. Scrolling, rendering, etc. is very slow and is evidenced by high CPU usage.

Upon further inspection, Preview delegates this workload to the GPU and provides a much smoother user experience.

This suggestion is to implement CPU/GPU resource management to improve user experience.

  14. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC open a few files and if you close them and later export and open a new .pdf from any program, including Indesign or Illustrator, the program starts and than closes immediately. There no show of error message. After this, the Acrobat will not open any file until you restart the computer (mac or pc).

All steps on forums was tryed, with no effect, including this link: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-crashes-on-windows-os.html

Already try open the task manager and stop services to them open Acrobat again. No effect. Sometimes, open a error message, that was send a million times.

    Please, update…

  16. Although no adobe products are set as startup items and the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC general settings have the option to show a start screen as OFF... with each newstart of the computer, the Acrobat Start screen opens.... and every time has to be manually closed.

This is a bug (although probably intended by Adobe) and needs to be fixed to remove this major annoyance.

The effect is that Adobe is trying to be an annoying microsoft application by making its own rules to decide what I want... but in reality is frustrating.

  17. I would like to be able to Export PDFs as an HTML5 flipbook. Services around the web charge a ridiculous amount for this. Currently, this can be done as an SWF from Indesign, but not a lot of mobile devices can handle it. There has to be a better way. Even if you charged an extra $5 a month to host the files and then allowed someone to embed them (Life Flipsnack does) it would be worth it. They charge like $1000 a year.

  18. Stop with the updates. Its the same thing year over year. you just move things around or do an "update" which breaks the program. If you do an update, test it multiple times, on different computers, different operating systems. Make sure it works before it is launched. Customer should get a credit everytime the product does not work. I am sure things would get tested correctly then.

  19. I create stamps and place them in my stamp pulldown menu. They remain there for the rest of the day. I log off my PC at night. Log back on the morning and open Adobe Acrobat DC. Open a PDF and try to stamp with one of my create stamps. The ones that were at the top of the pulldown as a favorite yesterday is no longer there. I then have to open the stamp and make it a favorite again.

  20. When I edit a pdf, Acrobat refuses to let me save it. It tells me I'm not authorized to do that. I save it under a different name and then try to delete the file that I don't want, and it won't move to the trash can either. If I try to overwrite an existing pdf with a new file of the same name, it says it can't do it. It won't work until I open task manager and stop acrobat and then try. I cannot do this every hour at work. I really want to get the 2018 version…
