  2. Hey could you guys make a shortcut for highlighting on PDFs that would be GREAT HELP! This is for Adobe Reader DC. There is no shortcut for highlighter and highlighter color. It would make reading PDFs faster, more interactive, and easier to read especially on Desktop/Laptops.

  3. Restore email tool that directly attaches document to an email in the user's client software, or provide a way to customize the tool to do that. Tool in new version opens a new window with various Adobe ecosystem options, adding an unnecessary work step.

  4. Please create a shortcut that would allow the creation of a scanned document. Too many clicks to create pdf from scan. Your attitude seems to be the more clicks the better.

    Export a text document with german words that contain german umlauts (äöü), e.G.: "für, können, öfter, mögen" as a PDF without tags from InDesign or Word

  5. Up until the last update, it was possible to email a pdf without first saving it. It is a total waste of time and space to have to save something you don't need to keep just to be able to email it.

  6. In older versions we could just add text to a document where needed. Now you have to go to Tools, Edit which then takes the time to recognizes all the text in a document. I frequently add text in all kinds of documents including charts and forms. When it goes to "recognize" the text on the full page, it distorts it to something unuseable. I end up having to open the document in Photoshop - if it will read it since usually it was scanned in first. If it won't, I have to do a screen shot, cut and paste…

  7. I am visually impaired and have implemented the Windows accessibility features that allow me to make my mouse pointer dark, inverted and larger, so that I can more easily locate the cursor on the page. However in Adobe Acrobat DC, your default cursor does not allow this Windows feature to carry over. Honestly it is terrible and should really be fixed to be at least darker, larger and bold so that visually impaired clientele can use your products.

  8. Feature to allow the tool bar to be hidden when any document is opened. The extra view space displaying large text is more important than a tool bar that is not used often.

  9. When doing a batch conversion of emails in an Outlook folder, all of the emails are captured in a single PDF file. However, it would be nice to restrict what information is captured. For example, I'd like to have bcc information excluded from the email-to-PDF conversion.

  10. Please restore this functionality - in XI it was in Edit/Preferences/Page Display. There is no way to know the page size without hovering the mouse in the lower left corner. Odd-size page sizes hang print jobs, wasting time and resources. It was easier to quickly scroll through 100+ pages and look for the oddities. Without this, we have to check every single page.

  11. Would like ability to add the Snapshot tool to my Quick tools. This was lost when you switched to DC. It is a very handy tool to have at the ready.

  12. As an architect or an engineer, we are always managing plans with different scales that have (usually) a graphic scale for reference. The measure tool would be EXTREMELY useful if includes an option to set the scale by selecting two points on an eventual graphic scale included within an existing pdf... this will help to quickly have the pdf in scale and ready to be measured.

    Please, include this feature.

I create many forms and every time I create a text field and corresponding form field (whether text box, check box or radio button) I have to move them around separately. the text fields end up grouping together with other unrelated text fields and adjusts line spacing randomly which makes it double-triple work to move around and adjust when laying out the form. Text fields should be left individual with option to merge with other text fields if desired. It takes me way longer to create a form than necessary because i have to constantly readjust the line spacing and…

  14. There should be an easy to find, one click toggle type button that changes the background from white to the transparency grid.
    I often work with PDFs with some amount of transparency for one reason or another, and when showing people that are not familiar with the transparency grid it gets confusing, so if I could quickly toggle the background to white that would help out a lot. Actually, being able to toggle bleed lines and such on and off would be a big help too.

  17. Acrobat DC doesn't remember settings of action "Create PDF file from scanner", in Output: i have to manually select "Multiple files" instead of the default "One File",
    and when saving files at the end of the scan, i have each time to change the default acrobat directory.

  18. Steps to repro:
    1. open an already saved pdf with a field for signature
    2. Click 'send for singature' in the right hand nav
    3. complete the info and click next
    4. receive error saying that cannot connect to service per the screenshot attached

    Environment:
    Mac OS Sierra (version 10.12.6)
    Adobe continuous release version 2018.009.20044

    Expected result:
    That I can send for signature

    Observed results:
    Get an error and cannot proceed to send for signature

  19. Highlighting is the main reason why I use pdfs. The main method that I use is selecting the text through hold left click and drag followed by right click and highlight. Usually the page is zoomed so that I can read the text. In a two-column journal, it is often the case that I want to highlight text from one column [bottom] to the other [top] but because the page is zoomed in, the page has to autoscroll back to the top - the speed which this happens is very slow.
