interop.acropdflib.dll problems after windows 10 update from c# application
Hello, we have a C # application in the company, this application is using interop.acropdflib.dll, everything was fine before Windows 10 updated from some days, now every time I press the print button nothing happens, no displays the window for setting up printing.
Help, it is a problem not being able to print from the application because there are many documents a day that have to be reviewed and sent to print quickly to optimize times.

Replacement Text (AccSupp ActualText entry) Support
We noticed that your PDF viewer doesn't have AccSupp ActualText support. This means that copy-pasting technical text such as shellscripts and programming code, does not work in your PDF viewer and this greatly restrains the use of your whole program.
The replacement text is said to be supported, according to the file "Document management - Portable document format - Part 1: PDF 1.7" both on Table 323, page 559, and on section 14.9.4, page 615. Available here: https://www.adobe.com/content/dam/acom/en/devnet/pdf/PDF32000_2008.pdf.
But according to the tests made using PDFs produced by pdflatex using the package accsupp, the replacement text support seems to…
1 voteHi,
I understand your concern here. I have shared this with the higher management. We currently do not have any plan to implement it but we have kept it in our radar and will pick up in future,Check the latest features in Acrobat Pro DC by keeping the software on latest version.
Thanks

Tells me update failed to install, when it is installed
Acrobat DC has become a royal pain in the behind. First of all, with this NUL license concept, it takes way, way too long to convert Word documents to .pdf. It sits there doing nothing for a long time, and finally wakes up and begins the process. Is it possible you people don't test these things? This always happens now, ever since your brainchild change. Secondly, it keeps telling me that it failed to install a version 2020.009.20063, when that version is already installed! What a nuisance of a system this has become.

why would you change the name of the tool from Adobe Sign to Request signature?
My ADobe Sign tool button disappeared - I had to chat online with tech support - she had me sign out and back in - still no Adobe Sign button but I saw a new button Request Signature (which is now Adobe Sign) but now every time I close out of a PDF I can't see either tool anymore - I have to sign out and back in again to see the Request for Signature. what is going on?

Conditional logic.
Would be fantastic if text or signature fields can only be completed if certain other fields are completed or boxes checked. I know DocuSign offers this functionality in their commercial license, which is very expensive.

Bug: OCR Correct Recognized Text changes "•" to "€" upon save
There is an issue with the "Review recognized text" feature. It fails to properly update the OCR text when a correction is made. It erroneously replaces the special character "•" with "€" upon clicking Accept. So for example, the slogan "Cleaner Air • Safer Roads" will be saved incorrectly as "Cleaner Air € Safer Roads". I'll happily provide the example document via email if requested.
I'm running MacOS MacOS Big Sur Version 11.0 Beta (20A5384c) and Acrobat Pro DC Version 2020.012.20048

Create PDF for Javascript-powered web pages
I like the ability to capture HTML pages together with images into one PDF document.
Unfortunately the web has changed and many web pages use Javascript to fill out the DOM tree, as a result content is missing from pages like:
https://ropercenter.cornell.edu/ipoll/search?q=dreams
which makes a blank page PDF. There are tools out there that can make a capture of modern web pages using Chromium, PhantomJS, or HTMLUnit to run the Javascript. One can be found here:
sometimes these work, but the WARC file and the WARC file players are awful. It reminds me of the times that you go…

Re-send signable agreement with corrected fill fields
When an error is made in an Adobe Sign template, but the error is not realized until after the document is sent for signature (or worse yet, already signed), it is nearly impossible to correct the issue and re-send the form. It should be the case that, a document pending signature or already signed, can be re-sent and everything is already filled out except for the field which was modified. For example, I realized that I accidentally assigned one field at the end of a document (among dozens of fillable fields) to the wrong person...the person got all the way…

Adobe DC crashes when opening second pdf - reason: win 10 cumulative update
When trying to open a second pdf in an new tab, Acrobat DC crashes after some seconds of freeze.
I found the reason for this in the latest two Win 10 cumulative updates of 08 and 09/2020. Skipping the update in August and hoping, that the update in September works better didn't help. Deinstalling these updates solves the problem.
Some other applications are affected as well (like the launcher from EA/Origin or the Samsung Magician).
This is the message from the windows event viewer:
Name der fehlerhaften Anwendung: Acrobat.exe, Version: 20.12.20048.6926, Zeitstempel: 0x5f5b9602
Name des fehlerhaften Moduls: D3D9.DLL, Version: 10.0.19041.488,…1 vote -
Flatten transparency results into false handling of a smooth shade and damaged result
When flattening the attached PDF with Acrobat DC, the shade (which is covered by a vector object and therefore only visible as some kind of a frame), becomes visible.
This is clearly not the expected results and therefore a bug.1 vote -
Adobe Sign view field allocation after sending
Creator should be able to see the allocation of fields after sending, i.e., make it visible which fields have been assigned to whom.

Cannot combine emails into PDF
Why in this day and age have you still not added any functionality to combine emails into a PDF directly?! Enormous amounts of global productivity is wasted each day on having to individually save thousands of emails individually into a PDF format in order to be able to then bind them into a PDF. You could actually just resolve the issue directly and make everyone's lives a little less ******.

Sorry for your inconvenience.
It seems InDesign hangs for you. It is not clear how Acrobat is involved in the process. Can you please explain the workflow?
