Not happy with the update, snapshot copy gone
For some reason, after many years of working with Acrobat Pro, they removed the photo snap shot option. This was extremely valuable when you just want a section copied and pasted in to a Word document. Now, there is no way of doing it. I now use the Windows SnipIt to get what I want. The other way is to export the page, crop it, then save it. I purchase the full Adobe suite at several hundred dollars a month and this is a good deal breaker. Customize Shortcuts on Home Screen • I would like to be able to select or "Pin" the tools I actually use to the top of the Home Screen. Acrobat selects the tools at the top of the Home Screen, but the default choices (which change from time to time) are NOT based on my actual usage. For example, I have NEVER used "Request E-Signatures" or "Protect PDF" yet these are currently the first two options. BUG - acrobat does not allow blank option in dropdown and request signatures
Sometimes 'Blank' IS the right value for a dropdown list. I do not understand why a user cannot request a signature when the form has been designed with an option in a dropdown field that has a blank value. This error occurs even if the user has selected a value other than 'blank'.

Change format of Highlight Current Bookmark feature
The "Highlight Current Bookmark" option currently makes the outline of the bookmark icon a little darker or bolder, but I can barely tell the difference to see which is highlighted. Could the "highlighting" be changed somehow to make it stand out a little more? Maybe the fill color for icon of the current bookmark could be a different color or darker shade.

split PDF by bookmark level of choice
At present it is only possible to split a PDF by top level bookmark; it would be great to have the option to choose the bookmark level (e.g., if there are nested bookmarks in a document). There are PDF editors around that do have this option.

dark mode hidden in Accessibility is inconvenient
Dark mode hidden in Accessibility is inconvenient. To get a proper dark mode, currently I think the only option is to go to
Edit menu > Preferences > AccessibilityAnd then you have to activate "Replace document colors".
This is inconvenient in case you need to quickly change switch off settings. Would be nice to have a quick button for this.

Add the option to insert image on a pdf form directly from the camera. to allow Android/iOS Tablet and mobile users to fill pdf forms more efficiently.

Auto resize bounding box to contents for Callout and Text Box comments
When marking up PDFs, some clients want text to be immediately visible "on the page," i.e., in Callouts and Text Boxes vs. added with the less easy to see Insert Text at Cursor or Replace Text functions. Sometimes the text I need to add is just a single comma or hyphen, but the default bounding box size is much larger, and resizing these by hand is time-consuming. Adobe Sign needs to have a document edit function
We've used docusign in the past and have often gone back into our documents to edit them once they've been created/sent. It's extremely useful and time saving to be able to click edit on any given document to change what fields need to be signed or filled out without having to start the whole document over. The fact that adobe sign doesn't have this will end up being the reason my company ends up using hellosign over adobe sign. Super surprised Adobe hasn't integrated this into their software.

Tab Highlighting
Having multiple tabs open at time it is hard to correctly organize them into things I already have read, things I need to go back to, or things that I have yet to look at. As a student it would be nice to have and easy way to organize them. My thought is if you could right click on a tab in the header and select a color scheme for it. Right now it only has the option to 'Close Tab' or 'Reopen Closed Tab.' Adding a simple color scheme here with possibly a sort function would allow those of…

"Agreements" Filter Options
Please add a similar Agreement Filters view in the desktop version Adobe Acrobat. In the web version we are able to see/filter agreements based on current status (In progress, completed, etc) but it's not in the desktop version of the application.

Why can't I copy the text just as it is in my original document?
I am trying to copy both Thai text and Burmese text from a Pdf document. But these are not recognized languages in this Adobe program so it tries to copy them as English and makes a mess of them. Why can't the text be copied over as it appears in the original document? Then, I could use Google translate to change that into English. There is no need for Adobe to recognize the language being copied, just copy it exactly as it is in the original document.

Making it possible to change thickness of underlining in Acrobat Reader DC under Windows
Unfortunately, I cannot change the thickness of my added underlined or strike-through. The symbol for different thickness in the toolbar is greyed out.
I also would appreciate two different symbols for underlining; one for straight lines, the other for squiggly lines.
I used FoxitReader before and must say that the way to place comments seems to me better solved there. Maybe something similar could be added in Adobe Acrobat Reader?5 votes -
Date field not working properly when Polish user interface is set.
Date field not working in Polish Acrobat Reader DC, Acrobat Pro 2020, Acrobat Pro DC and probably many others similar to those mentioned here. Calendar does not pop up after clicking on date field when Polish UI is set. When user interface language is set to English date field works properly. Even months names and week days names are translated in Polish.

Combine Files will not save
After hitting the save button, the Combine Files feature opens a 'Save as PDF' window which remains dormant. We cannot save the combined files.
Have today uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but to no joy.

Invisible guide lines, bug?
Work in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and installed version 2021.007.20096.
Now I can't see the guide lines when I drag lines from the rulers with the Marking Tool, I can only see the hair cross. When I click the spot I wanted the guide lines, then it shows.You helped me earlier today and installed an earlier version, 2020.013.20074 and the function worked again. Then when the program update it self to 2021.007.20099 the function failed again. I think this is a bug.
Work in Mac Big Sur 11.6.
