  1. Often, I need to view certain successive pages side by side.
However, Acrobat will only allow two page view to view pages 1 & 2 or 3 & 4. It will not allow viewing 2 & 3 side by side. (Imagine a user manual that has a two page chart on pages 2 & 3.) (This makes sense because page 1 is often on the right side of a book, making 2 & 3 open next to each other.)
It would be helpful to stack pages horizontally and scroll continuously through them.

    Hi,

Can you please provide the following details :

    1. Does the app freezes when you try Fill and Sign with all PDF files or specific PDF files. If possible can you please share a sample PDF.
    2. Did you try using Comments/Edit after opening the PDF?
    3. Once the application freezes, open task manager and go to Acrobat.exe process, right click and create a process dump. Kindly share that with us.

    Regards,
    Sandeep

  3. When using the online e-sign feature, my clients' drawn signatures are formatted in super tiny font on my documents. In addition, if I use the Document Cloud to e-sign documents, my saved signature is super small and barely visible.

Either when creating templates or when a person is creating a signature using the online Adobe Sign process, it would be WONDERFUL for us to be able to set the size or space size for signatures. Or, even if the document owner had the option to resize the signatures, this would be so helpful. Again, this has not been a problem…

  5. For work I use multiple tools to add comments to PDFs. I have created a custom tool set with the tools I need to use the most. We are required to use specific colors depending on what we are commenting on. It would make it so much easier if I could make custom sets (all with the tools I use) and have each one be different color schemes.

A few examples of this are below:

    Custom Tool Set #1
    Highligher – Color/Green
    Text Box – Border/Red; Fill/Green; Text Color/Blue
    Arrow – Color/Green
    Rectangle – Color/Green

    Custom Tool Set #2
    Highligher…

  6. Currently Adobe only supports SP initiated SSO authentication. We would like our users to be able to go directly from IDP initiated. This is a basic feature of most IDP services and would be great to have.

  7. When implementing all Adobe/Protect security features to prevent printing, copying, or editing a secured pdf, the PDF can still be edited, copied or printed when opened by the Chrome Document Previewer. With the print option reenabled in the previewer, you can print the secured document as a PDF and save to a file directory and upon opening the saved copy, all security policies have been removed. After discovering this, I researched to see if there was an oversight on my part and stumbled across an article on WikiHow titled, "How to Unlock a Secure PDF File" which outlines a similar…

  10. Right Click Look Up Words for their Definition

The option to search for the definition of the word just by selecting then right-click to chose Look Up is very helpful; though I wanted to report a small problem.

If a word has a period (.) behind and you select it, it will search the word in dictionary.com to include the period. For example, if I want to search for a word that is the last in the sentence i.e. the word [questionable.] it will look for that word and the period.

This does not happen with words that have a…

  11. Please include two very important editing features in Acrobat Pro.

Allow a "page setup" type feature, including:
1.) the ability to change the margins of the entire document.
2.) the ability to center text, such as a title, against the page margins, not just within the individual text box.
3.) the ability to align all text in a document within the margins, without having to manually align each and every text box. This is important for documents that have many pages.

Just like the editing features of Microsoft Word, these and other editing capabilities would make Adobe Pro an excellent…

  12. Apparently the new interface does not allow you to select, and keep selected, text comments. ALso, you can no longer make window selections to select multiple text comments at one time. Also, you cannot keep text selected, or have the option to double click to edit text. This new interface has tripled the time it takes for me to comment on documents. Please give US the option of how we want to handle selections!

  14. We need to be able to save WCAG compliant, semantic HTML files (e.g. from Firefox) as PDF/UA, but Adobe PDF does not offer this option. Saving as PDF/A does not produce a tagged (UA) file.

Adobe's pdf print gadget should use the browser accessibility tree, and tag the PDF accordingly.

PDF/UA has been an ISO standard since 2012. WCAG 2.1 was finalized in 2019, and WCAG 2.x compliance is now mandatory for public sector procurements in North America, the EU and various other jurisdictions.

What on earth is going on with your accessibility roadmap, Adobe? Apart from Acrobat on Windows,…

  16. When viewing a PDF that has the Avenir Next font type used in the body of text, the letters will not display properly when a bold or heavy style is applied to that font. Some letters are raised higher than they should be in comparison to other letters of the same upper or lower case status. See attached images. I've included the same exact font, string of text, and same exact file used, but one is displayed in adobe acrobat pro and the other is displayed on the web.

  17. Since yesterday, January 2, 2020, Acrobat Pro is freezing for a few minutes after closing the last file. It eventually starts working again, but it freezes again after closing another file or set of files.

  18. "The lock document after signing" checkbox is not keyboard accessible.

    WCAG 2.0 and 2.1

    Success Criteria 2.1.1 Keyboard Accessibility

To reproduce this problem open the test.pdf and select the signature field. Choose or create a digital signature and select Continue.
Use the tab key to navigate the document.
You will see that keyboard focus moves from the Create button (upper right) to "View Certificate Details" and "Lock document after signing" never receives Focus.

"Lock document after signing" is not keyboard accessible.

Tested on WIndows 7 and WIndows 10 with Acrobat DC Pro and Reader 2019.021.20061 and 2019.021.20058.

    This feature was…

    Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to us for your concerns.
You can find the sign-Out button on the right most end of the Tab Bar in Acrobat by clicking on the Image icon for your account.
Alternatively, you can find the sign out button under Help → Sign out.

Let me know if that still doesnt solve your concerns ?
