  2. In other PDF editor programs, there is the ability to customize tickmarks in a toolbox that can then be assigned to a keypad number to be accessed quickly and repeatedly. Creating this functionality would greatly increase the speed in which user can apply those tickmarks in reviewing a document, generating significant efficiency when a large volume of documents require this type of review.

  3. The huge icons in layout view make impossible to see enough of what the portfolio includes - a waste of screen space. The detail view expanded to show a sufficient number of files does not allow you to see a document such as a letter underneath. I would like to see a Preference for Layout view (left panel) to list the file name with a small icon just like the detail view. Alternately, allow the detail view to dock the file list in the left panel.

  4. Unfortunately, I cannot change the thickness of my added underlined or strike-through. The symbol for different thickness in the toolbar is greyed out.
    I also would appreciate two different symbols for underlining; one for straight lines, the other for squiggly lines.
    I used FoxitReader before and must say that the way to place comments seems to me better solved there. Maybe something similar could be added in Adobe Acrobat Reader?

  7. Ensure WiFi is enabled and that you have a strong WiFi signal. Make sure you're in range of the WiFi service you're trying to connect to. Available services are listed in your WiFi settings menu. If the desired WiFi network isn't listed, try connecting to a local Spectrum access point.

  8. Each and every time I split a PDF, I must manually set the folder I want the files to save to. I should be able to set the folder path one time and Acrobat will default to that same folder next time I split a PDF. This goes for all the settings whenever splitting a PDF. It would save me time if Acrobat remembered what options I used last when splitting a file. For instance, if I split a file and used the "Use top level bookmarks" option, the next time I go to split a PDF I shouldn't have…

  9. I have 2 network printers. Acrobat always defaults to the first printer in the system printer list, not the one that is the actual default printer. All other apps, including photoshop recognize the system default. This is a bug that should be fixed!

  10. Unless I am missing something it appears that Acrobat Distiller is only able to process one file at a time. I feel like there is a missed opportunity here to take advantage of modern multi-core CPUs and allow Distiller to at least process as many files as there are logical cores on the CPU at the same time. For example I was recently tasked with converting a few hundred files to PDF and it took approximately an hour and a half but if it were able to process 16 files at a time (my CPU has 16 logical cores) I…

  12. How to make a phone call to Google Support. Call Google at +1 888 625 2848 for assistance.

    The number connects to "the Googleplex," a customer care centre in Google's Mountain View, California headquarters.

    When you call the number, you will be directed to an automated menu that will lead to a series of subsequent menus.

  13. After setting up to Scan & OCR using an EPSON Perfection 600 Photo scanner, I clicked Scan. I am trying to scan a simple medical receipt, one page only.
    The Adobe Acrobat DC app did not respond.
    I then clicked Cancel, but got an error message indicating Scan was in progress.
    I tried to Quit the Acrobat DC app, but got a similar error message indicating Scan was in progress.
    It seems I will have to Force Quit to close the app and try to scan with another app, from Epson.

  14. The easiest way however is just using online converters. Multiple sites of this nature exist, nevertheless, I lived aware Google Contacts helped this conversion only after I used it to import my View contacts into it.

    Google Contacts supports both importing and exporting your fund's contacts to VCFs or CSVs. The contacts can be sent to either Google CSV format meant for importing into Google Accounts or Outlook CSV format meant for importing into Microsoft Outlook and other applications.

  15. In the email to Recipients, the email body text states and shares the senders name and Adobe ID primary email address.

    This is a privacy issue, there should be an option to hide the email address and/or have option to use alternative email (such as secondary email on the account).

    Using Adobe Sign servers to send the email, it is inferenced that your personal email is not shown to this 3rd party. But I have discovered they have full visibility of your personal email in the body of the email text.

  16. I build most of my presentation decks in Illustrator and export to PDF for Acrobat. It would be useful to have my cursor act like a red-dot laser pointer for presentations.

    Now that so many meetings are remote (Zoom) it would be nice to have more robust presentation features.

    PowerPoint has this feature, but I hate PowerPoint.

  17. Cannot Combine Adobe PDFs through Context Menu

    I have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and when trying to use the right-click context menu to Combine Adobe PDFs into a single file, Adobe Acrobat DC opens up, but nothing happens for 1-2 minutes. This will happen whether I select one file, multiple files, a small file (100KB<) or a larger file (>2MB). I need to combine PDFs as part of my daily duties, and waiting literally hours every day to combine my PDFs is horribly inefficient.

    Versions: Adobe Acrobat DC Version: 21.007.20099, running Windows 10 Pro Enterprise (GC) 1803.

  19. Hi, this is not an actual proposal, however i believe this is a very important feature for millions of users, please read carefully 
    i am sick and tired of submitting resumes / CVs through Linkedin and other platforms and not getting a response, and i am sure Millions of users suffer as i do . Adobe can solve this and here is how ! 

    1- A.I, where Adobe acrobat can recognize a a CV, tag it, label it, and save it on the cloud, wait thats not all, what is coming is even better

  20. Sometimes I receive a file with a single set of different pages(Let's say 5 pages). My customer wants 31 sets. I'd like to select the five, highlight and right click and chose "Copy as set?", then once I do this, a dialog box comes up and asks, "How many would you like?" I would chose 31 and it would duplicate 31 sets. It would change the page count from 5 pages to 155 pages. Thank you!
