  1. Add a shortcut or something, that I could switch between Selection tool and Add text to write down side notes, instead of going through 2 phase which need to press edit first then add text.
Need a quick switch on that.

  2. There is a problem with extracting single pages from particular PDF documments. Attaching the test.pdf file.

Extracting a single page from it (view->tools->Organize Pages->Open and you can do a drag & drop page to windows explorer) we are getting a pdf file with same file size as original but with only one page.
It seems that its not removing all jpegs from the file.
Attaching also sample file with extracted one page.

Files are generated by FPDF library and got a replay on their forum: "That's probably because FPDF uses the same Resources dictionary (containing all images) for all pages"

  4. Example: I keep getting a "Star Files" tip when I open up an editable PDF. On two different documents in the last hour this has taken the focus away from what I'm typing to show me a new feature that I frankly do not care about.

Could you just let us use the **** product?

Note that attached screenshot does not contain any identifying information, as I wasn't given the chance to do that.

  5. After signing the document for all, the system shows the message "Document was updated after signing”, But the message "Document was updated after signing" is confuse, there has been no change in document, the annotation is created by AdobeSign itself. But with this message our partners are questioning, how can a document be changed after signature. Is it possible change or alter this message for "Document was uploaded after signing"?

  6. Just fix the totally screwed up s pile you have made of my adobe files which I can no longer open, attach to emails or send to dropbox. I have one file which is large 10 MB but which was fine two years ago. it represents two months of a building design which I now require and which will not open. Same story with numerous other files as well. Thanks for nothing. I will spend a small fortune now paying a tech to sort this spile out. Your unrequested update a year or so ago totally f'd my adobe files…

  7. This appears to be a bug as other people around me using the same software have no issues with these 2 options being mutually exclusive. What setting or why are these mutually exclusive for me? Sounds like a bug as I cannot find any information as to why this would occur.

  8. I not sure, recently, adobe set the reader as adobe acrobat DC and the same name with the adobe acrobat DC pro (subscription) and it is kind of sad that developer of adobe dont think of people who just need a reader, sometime swing the adobe subscription licenses to share between the staff. The tech support said adobe acrobat DC reader is part of the adobe acrobat DC pro.

So why we cannot have Adobe acrobat DC reader and adobe acrobat DC pro application in 1 machine. Why.. in the old DC version we are able to use as reader…

  9. There needs to be an option to change the default option from "sign in order" to "sign in any order".

In our operational workflows we never use the sign in order function and have to constantly change it before sending out a request for signatures. If this step is missed we have to resend the entire document as it is not allowed to be edited after the fact. This is fine but give us the option to make "complete in any order" by default.

  10. The message which is shown when users are not signed in to Acrobat or do not have a license of the selected feature they are clicking on, is confusing many users. This leads to many calls at our Service Desk Hotline. It would help a lot to change the text to explain that the user does not have access to this feature because it seems that he/she does not have a license or is not signed in with his license. In case that a license is available please Sign in.

  11. Working in the medical field, it would be extremely helpful if I could convert a pdf to an EDI file. This would allow me to upload the file into the EMR system and auto post payments.

  13. On Adobe Acrobat versions 7, 8, and 9, I have been able to utilize the Acrobat Access 3.0 Type Library and the Adobe Acrobat 10.0 Type Library to Save a PDF using Visual Basic for Applications. This is done in MS Access. In Acrobat DC, these libraries, the functionality I utilize is missing.

    Code attached.

  14. Paint has the tools needed for commenting on eg a Music Score under PDF. Why re-invent the wheel with the clumsy clunky and partly unavailable Adobe Drawing tools under 'Edit'. Suggest collaboration with Paint and huge de-cluttering of the highly confusing and awfully corporate Adobe platform. Pro very poor value and re set password an Odyssean journey.

  15. I don't want programs randomly creating shortcuts on my desktop, so I deleted everything in C:\Users\Public\Desktop and locked that folder (if I want stuff on my desktop I put it in C:\Users<my name>\Desktop).

The problem is that now when Adobe reader tries to update, it says that the update failed because it can't create a shortcut in C:\Users\Public\Desktop. But that's just the point, I don't want it to create a shortcut there. I want it to update anyway, but without creating a shortcut.

If it can't create a desktop shortcut, it should just ignore that and update anyway. Or even…

  16. Good Morning Adobe

Firstly I would like to congratulate all the Adobe team due the great work that you’re doing with your software.

My suggestion for a new feature or modification one is:
Be able to sign a PDF with a digital certificate instead of with a handwritted signature on IOS, specifically IPhone and IPad.

    Why?
Actually, in the EU states, the 100% legal signature is the one from a .pfx ; .p12 ; .cer and .crt government validated, it’s true that if we use the handwritted one it’s valid, but you have to proof that it’s not screenshooted or…

  17. The chat window won't let me scroll up past 2-3 messages. This is stupid because the rep had given me a link to come here and I couldn't get back to it.

Additional comment: We all know companies don't want to actually ever talk to their paying customers, but making us type the SAME question more than five times in that auto chat before we get a live person is particularly bad form.

  19. Some documents require privacy to be signed (ie employment contracts) and should be able to be password protected when sending them out for signature. At the moment, these can only be locked for privacy when completed. I understand that this is a challenge (as you cant edit a protected document) however the use of this product is greatly affected in the business sense. Privacy is becoming more and more of a requirement in todays business world.
