  1. After install of Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 Release (Classic) Version 2020.005.30362 on a brand new Macbook Pro (14 in., 2021) with Apple M1 Max running Monterey version 12.4 already with Microsoft Office successfully installed and working fine, opening Powerpoint or Word for Mac version 16.63.1 (22071401) in Office Home & Business gives multiple, successive Adobe-related Microsoft Visual Basic Runtime Error '53'. Multiple calls with tech support do not resolve the problem. Following advice at https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/run-time-error-53-and-acrobat-freezing-up-not-responding-quot/m-p/11823639 resolves the MS Word errors, but does not resolve the MS Powerpoint errors.

  2. As per the title - when printing a PDF using the Adobe PDF Function, it doesn't actually resize the page, meaning when I want to use it in an app that doesn't support resizing/scaling, it's basically useless? Why else would I want to take a PDF and "print" another PDF from it if not changing the actual file itself?

For example, I want to be able to resize a bigger PDF down to A4 size. The selections are all there in page setup - it just doesn't actually do any of it though.

  4. I work in the legal industry and we often have large collections of documents where some contain OCR while others require OCR. It would be great if we could easily identify the documents that require OCR to speed up the batch processing of large collections. Additionally, with the availability of LLMs and image recognition, it would be great if you could utilize these to vastly improve the quality of the OCR output.

  5. Ability to change the colour and size of the mouse pointer to make it more visable and accessible for people with low vision. When high contrast colours (black background with white text) is used for accessibility the point remains the colour black making it very difficult to see and not accessible.

  6. Need a keyboard shortcut to insert Clipboard contents into PDF as new page. Should default to adding after current page. Should work regardless of whether pages tab is open. This feature would help make Acrobat the top tool for documenting web pages as web print output is often awkward and we need to combine multiple images / pages into one PDF document.

  7. Endless nonsense issues about some "cash app", registering Google Drive, Verizon password… Even tried flagging them but they're still there over 24 hours later; clearly no-one even at Adobe gives a rat's a-hole about this place.

    What a great environment.

  8. When creating a form and using the Execute Menu Item->Submit a Form in order to email the completed form to someone when they click on a link, the following message appears, even though PDF is selected in the Submit Form Selections:

"The attached file contains data that was entered into a form. It is not the form itself. The recipient of this data file should save it locally with a unique name. Adobe Acrobat Professional 7 or later can process this data by importing it back into the blank form or creating a spreadsheet from several data files. See Help…

  10. Bring back the "History" function. I have been using Acrobat for 15 years, and used to use this ALL THE TIME.

  11. The "Remember Current State of Tools Pane" option under Preferences...Documents never actually remembers anything. I close the annoyingly huge tools pane every single time I open a PDF, and every single time it comes back again.
You forced me to "upgrade" to this version of Acrobat Reader, and it drives me insane. There was a reason I installed the old reader with the simple interface that worked.
win10 home 22H2, reader version 2023.001.20174, but I'm pretty sure this has been a problem for as many versions as I can remember.

  12. While creating a new bookmark put the destination page number somewhere in its name so I know where it is by looking at it in the list. Maybe suffix the name (which the user enters) with page number, separated by a hyphen, eg, "Rio Accord - p.34" to indicate that this bookmark was created on page 34. Offer the semi-completed name (eg, "- p.34") with the page number already in it to the user to complete (eg, by inserting "Rio Accord") during bookmark creation. This would give a good idea of where the various topics I marked lie in the…

  13. Please make an option for a handwritten/image signature to be mandatory in order for the client to sign.

(Our clients with special needs really struggle to find the fountain pen to do a handwritten signature. So they only type their name (default setting), and the funding body doesn't pay us.)

  16. We are a law firm and often have thousands of bookmarks in one PDF. As we try to operate in a paperless environment, we insert documents (records) in between others and create bookmarks either by date (numbers) or with characters and then need to re-sort the many that we added so that they are in the correct order. Instead of having to buy a third-party program, it would be nice if Adobe did it. Thank you.

  17. Adobe used to close after quick print. In the latest version there is a bug that keeps Acrobat open. This is nuisance when printing lots of documents.

  20. I have Acrobat Pro and tried to scan a pdf with OCR which gave me a message which said something about I have to pay for the OCR feature. This led me to finding the below support doc indicating OCR is part of Acrobat Pro.

Clicking on the same exact button again it brought up the ocr tools instead of displaying the message, but I wouldn't have necessarily thought to try the same thing twice until after searching the web for which adobe product I would need to purchase to use OCR in Acrobat Pro (it's built in as it…
