  2. Things change - as does the UI - that is fine. Professionals working with Adobe Pro have adapted before. However, the changes have DOUBLED the amount of time it takes to mark up a PDF and as far as I can see there is no solution for this.

    • We are not longer able to highlight text, start typing and have text automatically replaced. We also have to select the tool, then implement the mark up.

    • We are not able to pick a spot in the text, start typing and have text automatically inserted. We also have to select the tool,…

  3. I almost got a heart attack. I was working on a pdf, then I opened a new document and the Acrobat interface was completely different.

I use Acrobat every day and the new interface is too different from the old one. Tools are difficult to find because they have been placed somewhere else.

I definitely don't have time to learn how to use a new software. I didn't not appreciate to be face to this suddent change without any warning.

It would be better to give user the option to customize the left and right pannels. If it's already possible,…

  5. New interface is almost unusable. I have to basically edit and save documents multiple times a day. Both of those options are buried and when I used the edit feature I couldn't even figure out how to stop using it. thank goodness you had the option (though it was well hidden) to revert to the original UI. what were you thinking?

  6. It is extremely frustrating that the scroll bars are missing on the September 2023 release of Acrobat DC - they re-appear on a mouse click, but do not respond to Wacom pen. So to scroll through a PDF, the pen has to be put aside. This is slowing down my work considerably, and there has been a lot of frustration expressed in the Adobe Support Community, especially among Wacom users. This is not a behaviour that we can be expected to "get used to" or "love", as it has not been designed with the user in mind.

  9. The floating toolbar seems purposed for newer users. It would be helpful if the following was done with the floating toolbar.
    - Enable the toolbar to be transparent
    - Allow the toolbar to be docked on the right panel
    - Enable the toolbar to automatically minimize when not in use
    - Allow users to remove the default tools

A few features that are quite nice about the toolbar:
    - Contextual menus are immediately activated and brought into view once a tool is selected
    - Various related tools can be pinned to the floating toolbar
    - The toolbar can be moved…

  10. Most of the time when there is an upgrade you get used to it and after a while see the benefits of it or at least accept the change.
But I have never seen such an awfull designed UI like with the latest Upgrade.
Everything is moved for no reason where we are used to locations of buttons and functions. Why is the Save button on top right where in 99% of all other applications its top left same for print etc.

If someone works with this the first time, he might gets used to it but for me personally…

  11. The functions of the Acrobat page transitions unfortunately do not work on the MAC. Acrobat does not display page transitions, regardless of whether they are created in Indesign or in Acrobat itself. It would be nice if this problem could be fixed soon. Among other things, I use a Macbook Pro M3 Max under Sequoia with the latest Adobe applications.

  14. Why are collaborative services running on my end user's computer? What do we need a collaborative synchronizer background service running for?

We are a company that forbids the use of cloud based services for obvious security reasons. Downloading a PDF viewing app such as Adobe Acrobat does not warrant the installation of cloud based services that we did not sign up for.

We have begun using Foxit, because Adobe continues to ***** around with customers, thinking that we need this or that while installing it all automatically without the option to opt out of any of it..

  16. The country list in the form for creating a Digital ID is outdated. For example, "Yugoslavia," a country that has not existed for over 30 years, is still listed. Additionally, several current countries are missing from the list. Please update the country list to reflect the current geopolitical landscape.

  17. Remove this new interface. Due to the update all settings of my old interface (shortcuts, custom button position) are lost and I have to set up my "workspace" new.
Stop deleting the users setting when an update is made - while we pay 700 Euro per year and person.

  18. When multiple people are replying to a comment, the order of the replies is bizarre. I described it in more detail three years ago when starting this community thread: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/show-comment-replies-in-ascending-date-order/m-p/15039678

I can't imagine any reason to have the replies in any order other that chronological (oldest first, so it can be read like a conversation), but if there is, then at least allow an option (in Preferences perhaps) to choose between chronological and what it does now. (Note: This problem happens in both Acrobat Pro and Adobe Reader - I'm requesting the fix for both.)

  20. When inserting form fields, Acrobat classic had a pushpin icon in the toolbar called "keep tool selected." With that enabled, after choosing and inserting one form field, the tool stayed active so you could insert more fields. But you had the option to disable it and just insert one field at a time.

In the new experience, it seems the tool staying active to insert multiple fields is the default. That is fine in itself, but there isn't a way to turn it off so you can insert fields individually.

Bring back the functionality to choose whether to insert multiple…
