Acrobat Reader Display Content Bug
Running Acrobat Reader, 2025.001.20432. Existing (eMSN) pdf files have no actual content and show only header & footer like content. Those eMSN pdf files display just fine when using Mac's Preview. HW: iMac 27" late 2015 running macOS 12.7.6

ctrl+f search function
The Ctrl+F search function simply doesn't work. I can see with my own eyes that what i am typing in the search bar appears several times in the document, yet I am getting no matches. This is incredibly frustrating.

One-Time Unlock & Simplified Secure PDF Sharing
A new lightweight PDF security mode for Adobe Acrobat called “One-Time Unlock”.
The idea is to allow users to password-protect a PDF only for the first access. Once the recipient successfully enters the password and opens the file, the password protection is automatically removed from the PDF, allowing normal access afterward without repeatedly asking for the password.
This feature is intended for users who want simple and convenient secure sharing rather than strict permanent encryption.
Additional functionality could include:
- Automatic random password generation
- Manual password creation
- One-click “Copy Password” option
- Optional expiry after first unlock
- Custom maximum password attempts set…

More than one signature option
I am someone who frequently finalizes documents and applies my executives signature to a document once they approve. We are not allowed to use the stamp option because it is not super secure. The fill and sign currently allows one signature and one initial (which I use as a second signature). However, I have 5+ executives.. all requiring different signatures. Which means, I am losing efficiency by having to change the e-sig document almost each time. I understanding having 5+ different signature options may be a bit excessive but even just two signatures and two initials would be better!

Have your AI agent suggest a pdf software that actually works
You have successfully destroyed what was once the premier business use software for handling pdf files. Since it has become impossible to use, perhaps your AI agent could direct us to GOOD pdf software or at least suggest some packages that work.

Can't close the help window, which wasn't helpful
Uhm, let me think... Oh yeah, how about putting an f'n "X" in the upper right hand corner of the window so I can close it? If you need my help for that idea you will begin to understand how bad your software is.

Acrobat Pro no longer recognizes HP PCL 6 Printer Driver paper size changes
Acrobat Pro no longer recognizes changes to the paper size made in the HP Universal Printing PCL 6 drivers.
When I change the paper size in the Printer Properties dialog for the PCL 6 printer, Acrobat's print dialog no longer recognizes the new paper size and no longer changes the preview to indicate the new size. This is reproducible 100% of the time.
I had been using an older PCL 6 driver (7.0.0.24832) for years, and about four months ago an update to Acrobat caused this behavior to start. Every Acrobat version since has had the same issue. I am…

Measure tool
Frequently use measuring tool in my line of work to show dimensions on a PDF over an aerial image, existing plans, etc. Having the ability to set the size, font style, and color in the measuring tool and then being able to "make properties default" would be really nice and a real timesaver. Not a fan of the dated courier style font. Don't understand why this functionality hasn't been addressed. Seems many others have posted similar suggestions/comments. Thanks for your consideration!

Stop automatically scanning (OCR) documents. Just ask me first if I want that (I don't!).
Stop Adobe from automatically scanning documents. That needs to be an option that I request or that you prompt me for, not something that starts automatically (and potentially damages documents / freezes the app for a long period of time).

Include Custom Agreement Message in Sender and CC Notification Emails
Description of Desired Feature:
Enhance Adobe Sign for Salesforce so that any custom message entered when sending an agreement is also visible within:The sender’s confirmation email
CC recipient notification emailsCurrently, the custom message is only displayed to the primary agreement recipient/signer.
Why the Feature is Needed:
This would improve visibility and consistency of communications for all parties involved in the agreement process. Senders and CC recipients often need to reference the original message content for context, auditability, and internal coordination. At present, they cannot see the message that was sent to the signer unless separately copied manually.1 vote -
Text Missing from Document after E-signature
A document is electronically signed with Adobe, then downloaded from the email confirmation. Upon opening the downloaded document I find that there are now random letters missing from words throughout the document and the date format is DD/MM/YYYY when the original document has date format MM/DD/YYYY which causes unnecessary confusion. Adobe should be a fine tuned professional tool that doesn't have issues like this. I wish there was a better option out there for PDFs, I am so sick of Adobe being so difficult and time consuming to use. I'm at my wits end - you make me want to…

A VERSION THAT DOESN'T HAVE AI
Would be great to have a version that wasn't trying to force AI on you... Can those who want AI features use an AI version, and keep the base version without AI?

bookmarks
Don't open bookmarks by default!
When opening a document that has bookmarks embedded in it, the bookmarks panel opens automatically (and slowly) and takes up a third of the screen. It's infuriating, takes several seconds before it can be closed, and is completely pointless. Ditch it, or make it take up a tiny fraction of the screen space. I hate the way Acrobat prioritizes bookmarks over every other aspect of the interface.

PDF Share for Review Expiration
Please introduce an expiration date option for PDF Share for Review documents. Our company has identified the lack of link expiration as a significant security risk, since we do not want shared links to remain accessible indefinitely.
The PDF Share for Review feature provides an efficient, collaborative commenting experience, but its usefulness is currently undermined by this administrative limitation. Adding configurable expiration dates for shared review links would both strengthen security and allow us to fully adopt and rely on the feature.

Remove old instances of "Save as Adobe PDF" when installing new versions of Acrobat
On Mac, when using the Print command in any application and then selecting PDF at the bottom of the window to export a PDF, multiple instances of “Save as Adobe PDF” will show up due to old versions of the application hanging around after version updates. One of my Macs had 9 and another Mac had 3 instances showing.
I tracked down and removed the old ones which live in a folder called PDF Services which is located:
Macintosh HD > Library > PDF ServicesMy suggestion is to have Acrobat run a script to remove the old instances in…
