I absolutely hate the AI.
Get rid of the AI. It is disruptive, covers half the screen, and is difficult to get rid of. I keep turning it off under preferences and it keeps getting turned back on by the time I open the next document! (I recheck my preferences and it has been turned back on.) GET RID OF IT!!!!!!! Or allow it to be permanently disabled.

AI Generated Content
My acrobat documents are getting hover tips that give an image description and say it's AI generated content. It sounds like it's saying that the image is generated by AI when it is not. It is not fair to say my creative work is generated by AI and to convince my clients of that!!!

Acrobat HTML-to-PDF Conversion: Classic Engine Fails to Load Hosted Images, Enhanced Engine Removes Page Layout Controls
Adobe Acrobat Pro's Create PDF from Web Page feature no longer produces the expected results when converting locally stored HTML email documents containing externally hosted images.
Expected Result:
Acrobat should correctly retrieve and display externally hosted images while allowing users to control page dimensions and layout. This workflow has functioned reliably for years using the Classic conversion engine.Observed Result:
Classic: Externally hosted images fail to load, producing General Error messages referencing the image URLs. Locally stored images display correctly.
Enhanced: Externally hosted images display correctly, but the Page Layout controls are unavailable. The resulting PDF is divided into standard-sized…

"New! Edit text in your uploaded document on the next page" pop up is forcing me to the top of the window
When routing a document using goggle chrome adobe sign, after I select the document and move onto the page where I add signers, the pop up keeps forcing me back to the top of the page and out of the the text boxes where I am trying to type names/emails for signers, making it impossible to add the signers and route the document.

Get the AI assistant out of the way.
Get the AI assistant out of the way. I don't want it and need the option to disable it. Very irritating.

detect and redact sensitive information based on local ai
I need to remove a lot of sensitive informations before I can hand off a pdf to an AI tool or agent. Things like names, emails, adress or contact informations, prices, dates, urls, health data and so on. I would love to have a local AI-tool in Acrobat Desktop/Mobile to investigate one or more PDF files, telling me what kind of sensitive information was found and then giving me options to redact these data. Basically like the remove tool in Photoshop which shows different categories of things it detected in an image and then I can select what I want…

Certificate errors
When using a certificate through either the Digitally Sign or Certify (Visible Signature) options, multiple errors occur that prevent the signature from being successfully applied, even after completing the signing process. In some instances, the signature appears to process and load but then disappears as if it was never applied. Other times, error messages are displayed saying that the document is open by another user (when it is not), the byte range is invalid, or there is an error displaying the signature. In some cases where an error says the signature cannot be displayed, closing and reopening the PDF may…

AI Assistant disable for form creation
Please give me the ability to disable someone else's AI Assistant popup from one of my forms they are using. They have no reason to need the assistant and the popup is just an annoyance.

BUG: Incorrect "Always show document page size" behavior
In New Acrobat Reader interface, the option "Menu → Preferences → Page Display → Always show document page size" doesn’t work properly:
- If the option is "Checked", the following bug happens:
→ the page size and horizontal scroll bar to the bottom doesn’t reach the left side of the screen if "Fit to width", "Fit height", or "Actual size" view modes are selected (see screenshot below);
→ manually choosing custom view modes (50%, 200%, etc.) eliminates the bug and make the page size and horizontal scroll bar reach the left side of the screen properly.
- If the option is "Unchecked",…

Acrobat does not support Windows Virtual Desktops correctly
I am trying to use two Windows virtual desktops to separate my work activities. However, whenever Acrobat is already open on Desktop 1, opening a PDF from Desktop 2 always switches back to the existing Acrobat window on Desktop 1. As a result, I cannot effectively use virtual desktops with Acrobat, since documents do not stay within the desktop where they are opened. In my opinion, supporting Windows virtual desktops properly is a fundamental productivity feature for professional users. I hope Adobe can improve this behavior in a future release.

Protected mode becoming mandatory
A post was made regarding Sandbox/Protected mode becoming mandatory, but I would like this option to remain available.
There are many cases where features do not work correctly unless this mode is turned off, and disabling it serves as a necessary workaround.
Additionally, since there are plugins that are no longer in active development, losing the ability to use them would be a major inconvenience.2 votes -
Without being required to be signed in, establish Home Page Link to "What's New" popup window AND ALLOW IT TO BE MINIMIZED INTO "TASH BAR".
On opening Adobe just reviewed "What's New" popup window and found much to look-into, BUT DON'T HAVE TIME RIGHT NOW! Only option is to take a screenshot, BUT LINKS WON'T BE AVAILABLE!!

Please give option to DISABLE AI Features
Please include some way to DISABLE all Generative AI features that sticks. Unclicking the checkbox doesn't help if everytime I restart my computer or receive an update it turns it back on. Generative AI is unhelpful and intrusive. Forcing people to use AI features has a massively negative impact on our environmental footprint. When it is used unnecessarily or without choice, we are using MILLIONS of gallons of water and electricity for no reason. I will be switching to a FREE service that already includes all Adobe Acrobat features if this is not resolved.

AI has ruined your whole desktop app
These constant prompts to use AI have totally ruined Adobe Acrobat for me. They're disruptive. Also, my workplace uses Acrobat for sensitive work documents - we are required to maintain confidentiality - I can't risk potentially having AI trained on my documents. I'm saying goodbye to Adobe Acrobat permanently, and using Xodo moving forward instead. Xodo is not shoving AI at me daily. I'll be encouraging my whole office to switch too. See ya!

Get rid of the stupid "Summarise your PDF Quickly" that pops up EVERYTIME I start Adobe
This is idiotic and invasive. It pops up even if I open a one page form that clearly cannot be summarised and there would be zero point in summarising it. If your dumba5s AI cannot tell when it is not needed, why the **** would l use it?
Pop ups that cannot be turned off are completely unacceptable. If I had any other choice, I would be quitting Adobe.
Paperclip anyone?

Cannot save to server in Protected Mode on MacOS
Protected Mode is preventing us from saving edited PDF files to our local server. We also cannot extract individual pages from PDFs to our server. We are on Acrobat 2026.001.21771 and macOS 26.x. Turning off Protected Mode allows saving and extracting as usual, but we understand that this will no longer be an option after October 2026. Please resolve.

resolution
When using Acrobat two lines stacked closely together look blurry. We recognize this is a resolution issue, we'd like the ability to up the document resolution so we can avoid this blurriness.
Thank you!
