Adobe PDF on Windows 11 creates PDFs in letter instead of A4. after changing the page size in Adobe PDF printing preferences to A4, it automatically change it back to Letter after some day or directly after an update of Adobe Acrobat DC.
we tried to change the page size mauelly to A4 in "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Adobe PDF\Settings\Standard.joboptions" it still rolled back to Letter as mentioned.1 vote -
add document title (file name) as header when merging
I have multiple files say File(A), File(B), File(C). I want to merge them into one document called File Cover Document that will have a summary and TOC. I would like a merge option that puts the Document Title (File Name) at the top of each document or each document after the first one. Your AI could even do the summary and TOC cover document if you wanted but I think having it in the combine options would be simpler. Think attaching several exhibits to a master document with the name at the top of each exhibit.

AI Insanity!
Provide a verifiable way to completely remove AI Assistant in Adobe Reader. I do not want an AI anything capturing any financial or other privacy related documents and processing them in the cloud, especially in Beta form. Most users will not read to the point of understanding the cloud aspect of this. This is a ridiculous and even dangerous function to offer, promote and even present to the general user.

LogTransport2 pops up when shutting down the pc
many times when shutting down the pc, a notification will appear for a split second about something failing to shut down properly. after many months i managed to get a glimpse of the error. it's about "LogTransport2.exe"
fix the app so it doesn't show errors the exact millisecond the pc is closing the screen to shut down. i've never seen such a poorly written program such as acrobat

Batch Fix All Unmarked Annotations
Please add a way to batch fix unmarked annotations in the Accessibility Tags/Find Element dialogue box.
Exporting from InDesign often results in buttons – even though they have descriptions – failing the Tagged Form Fields accessibility test.
Fixing, in my case, 1341 fields one-by-one is not feasible.

Split Not Working
The feature to split a PDF based on size of document is no longer working. I have been using it for the last several months by searching for the command at the top of the screen. Now, when I do so, a left toolbox appears that is either blank or mostly blank. I am no longer able to access the feature.

June 11th Update Flaw
After the newest update, the left side pane does not have options. I have several users in the office that noticed it yesterday. I did a fresh install, opened a document and the options were there. When I open a second document the options vanished from use. We can only add to the toolbar then use the functions. For example, selecting Organize Pages, when the edit menu opens the options are no longer there. The blurry screenshot below shows the pane before breaking, the clear screenshot is the pane without options after latest update.

Quickly add frequently-used comments
I use Acrobat to assess student work. It would be a huge time-saver if there was an option to define frequently-used comments that could be easily added to a document rather than needing to be typed/pasted in each time.

Watermark in Adobe Acrobat
When I try to update a Watermark in Adobe Acrobat suite by changing the Page Range options the watermark is not updated in the PDF to correct pages or not removed. I am following the instructions you have posted and it does not work.

Remove AI Assistant and Popups
I've been a longtime Acrobat user, but the constant AI Assistant and promotional pop-ups have become extremely frustrating. I have repeatedly dismissed these prompts and opted out, yet they continue to appear whenever I open PDFs.
PDF software should prioritize a fast, distraction-free experience. Users who are interested in AI features should be able to enable them, but they should not be repeatedly prompted or forced to interact with advertisements for features they do not want.
Please provide an option to permanently disable the AI Assistant and all related promotional pop-ups. Respecting users' preferences and keeping the interface focused on…

2026 Update: Adobe, every iteration of Acrobat gets worse and worse
Offer two user interfaces for Adobe subscribers. One can be a simple interface for opening files, saving files, finding and using tools, all the important things for people who don't need all the ****.
The second user interface can be the crapware that has more garbage on it than functional features.
Who needs 60 Acrobat templates? That's what Word is for. The AI must be powered by Meta because its results are somewhere between illiterate, inaccurate or sixth grade.

Add an option to set the default for View with Scrolling in the Chrome extension
Hi, I would really like to disable ‘View with scrolling’ on the Chrome Acrobat Extension, as I work with an ultrawide monitor and scaling to page width by default is not usable.
I've been informed that 'This is a known limitation with the current version of the Acrobat Chrome Extension: there is no persistent preference to disable 'View with Scrolling' by default, yet. Why Does Every Windows Update Remove Something Useful?
Hello,
It feels like every major Windows update brings changes that nobody asked for. While some updates improve security and performance, others remove familiar features or redesign parts of the system that were working perfectly fine.
I understand that software needs to evolve, but constantly changing the user experience can be frustrating for long-time users.

Feedback regarding the new Snapshot tool workflow
Hello,
I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the recent changes made to the Snapshot tool in the new Acrobat interface.
Three major regressions are hurting my daily productivity:
The annoying magnifying glass: The new pixel-by-pixel magnifying glass that follows the cursor is very distracting, gets in the way, and there is no setting to disable it.
Immediate disappearance of the selection: The blue rectangle disappears instantly after releasing the mouse. We can no longer right-click inside the selection to print it directly.
