  1. My acrobat documents are getting hover tips that give an image description and say it's AI generated content. It sounds like it's saying that the image is generated by AI when it is not. It is not fair to say my creative work is generated by AI and to convince my clients of that!!!

  2. Get the AI assistant out of the way. I don't want it and need the option to disable it. Very irritating.

  3. I need to remove a lot of sensitive informations before I can hand off a pdf to an AI tool or agent. Things like names, emails, adress or contact informations, prices, dates, urls, health data and so on. I would love to have a local AI-tool in Acrobat Desktop/Mobile to investigate one or more PDF files, telling me what kind of sensitive information was found and then giving me options to redact these data. Basically like the remove tool in Photoshop which shows different categories of things it detected in an image and then I can select what I want…

  5. When using a certificate through either the Digitally Sign or Certify (Visible Signature) options, multiple errors occur that prevent the signature from being successfully applied, even after completing the signing process. In some instances, the signature appears to process and load but then disappears as if it was never applied. Other times, error messages are displayed saying that the document is open by another user (when it is not), the byte range is invalid, or there is an error displaying the signature. In some cases where an error says the signature cannot be displayed, closing and reopening the PDF may…

  6. Please give me the ability to disable someone else's AI Assistant popup from one of my forms they are using. They have no reason to need the assistant and the popup is just an annoyance.

  7. In New Acrobat Reader interface, the option "Menu → Preferences → Page Display → Always show document page size" doesn’t work properly:

    1. If the option is "Checked", the following bug happens:

    → the page size and horizontal scroll bar to the bottom doesn’t reach the left side of the screen if "Fit to width", "Fit height", or "Actual size" view modes are selected (see screenshot below);

→ manually choosing custom view modes (50%, 200%, etc.) eliminates the bug and make the page size and horizontal scroll bar reach the left side of the screen properly.

    1. If the option is "Unchecked",…

  8. A post was made regarding Sandbox/Protected mode becoming mandatory, but I would like this option to remain available.
There are many cases where features do not work correctly unless this mode is turned off, and disabling it serves as a necessary workaround.
Additionally, since there are plugins that are no longer in active development, losing the ability to use them would be a major inconvenience.

  10. Please include some way to DISABLE all Generative AI features that sticks. Unclicking the checkbox doesn't help if everytime I restart my computer or receive an update it turns it back on. Generative AI is unhelpful and intrusive. Forcing people to use AI features has a massively negative impact on our environmental footprint. When it is used unnecessarily or without choice, we are using MILLIONS of gallons of water and electricity for no reason. I will be switching to a FREE service that already includes all Adobe Acrobat features if this is not resolved.

  11. These constant prompts to use AI have totally ruined Adobe Acrobat for me. They're disruptive. Also, my workplace uses Acrobat for sensitive work documents - we are required to maintain confidentiality - I can't risk potentially having AI trained on my documents. I'm saying goodbye to Adobe Acrobat permanently, and using Xodo moving forward instead. Xodo is not shoving AI at me daily. I'll be encouraging my whole office to switch too. See ya!

  12. This is idiotic and invasive. It pops up even if I open a one page form that clearly cannot be summarised and there would be zero point in summarising it. If your dumba5s AI cannot tell when it is not needed, why the **** would l use it?

Pop ups that cannot be turned off are completely unacceptable. If I had any other choice, I would be quitting Adobe.

    Paperclip anyone?

  13. Environment
    Adobe Acrobat Pro
    Continuous Release
    Version: 2026.001.21789
    64-bit
Updated to the latest version on August 14, 2026

    Steps to reproduce

Save a PDF file in a folder whose file path contains Japanese characters.
    Example: C:\PDF\日本語フォルダー\sample.pdf
Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro.
    Open the Preflight tool.
    Run Preflight on the PDF.

    Expected result

  14. Protected Mode is preventing us from saving edited PDF files to our local server. We also cannot extract individual pages from PDFs to our server. We are on Acrobat 2026.001.21771 and macOS 26.x. Turning off Protected Mode allows saving and extracting as usual, but we understand that this will no longer be an option after October 2026. Please resolve.

  15. When using Acrobat two lines stacked closely together look blurry. We recognize this is a resolution issue, we'd like the ability to up the document resolution so we can avoid this blurriness.

  16. Description:

We would like to request an enhancement to Adobe Acrobat Sign that allows a signer to apply their signature once and automatically populate all designated signature fields assigned to the same signer within a single agreement.

    Current Behavior

When a document contains multiple signature fields for the same signer, Adobe Sign requires the signer to manually click and apply their signature at each individual signature location.

    Requested Enhancement

Provide an option at the account, group, template, or agreement level that enables signature reuse for the same signer across multiple signature fields.

    When enabled:

The signer applies their signature once.…

  17. BUG REPORT

Product: Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) 26.002.21931, Continuous track, Creative Cloud subscription
    OS: Windows 11 Home 25H2, build 26200.9550
Hardware: Dell XPS 17 9710, Intel i7-11800H, 64 GB RAM, NVIDIA RTX 3050 Laptop

    SUMMARY
Since mid-September 2026 my laptop froze completely 8 times (screen locked, no input, Sign out hangs, only the power button works). Windows never blue-screened. Each freeze is preceded by the System event log entry Win32k 704 "A desktop heap allocation failed", followed by Explorer.EXE, ctfmon.exe and dwm.exe crashing.

A per-process monitor running every minute shows Acrobat.exe is the process filling the desktop heap:

  18. I said "No" I don't want Acrobat to be my default app for PDF files. Acrobat DC asks me again every time I start the program. That is intrusive and abusive, there is already a button on the start screen for that. Let me choose not to be asked again. I know how to do it through Acrobat (it's in plain sight already) or through the operating system settings.

  20. We would like to request an enhancement to the location-based security controls in Adobe Sign.

At present, Adobe Sign only allows blocking signing activity from China. We request the ability to block additional countries or regions, particularly third countries with a high financial or fraud risk, from which documents cannot be signed. Specifically, we propose:

    • The ability to block multiple countries (not only China)
    • The option to configure a custom allowlist or blocklist of countries
    • Support for risk-based country groups (e.g. high-risk, medium-risk)
    • Application of these rules to all signing methods (web, mobile, integrations)

    Why the…
