PDF Spaces doesn't always recognise new files added
When using PDF Spaces and AI Assistant, the AI Assistant doesn't always recognise files that have been added later in the process. So, for example, if you are completing a research paper and some new evidence has come to light, you add that new evidence, and use AI Assistant to search all papers, there have been times where it will not reference that new paper. This risks leading to gaps in research for people who may be working with files closer to the 100 file limit.

No Citations with AI Assistant in PDF Spaces
The AI Assistant does not provide citations when using PDF Spaces in the desktop version. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both copies of the program, logged out, logged back in, cleared the cache, cleared the history, turned the citations off and on again, NOTHING fixes it. There is a bug. This is happening both on my Mac and PC.
This does not seem to be affecting single files, nor PDF Spaces in the web version, but the desktop version, my preferred version, will not provide citations. It does provide the summary though, but I would prefer the citations.

Feature Request: Direct File Transfer via QR Code (No Cloud Required)
Currently, many users rely on inefficient workarounds to transfer files between devices, such as sending documents to themselves via WhatsApp Web or email.
It would be highly beneficial to introduce a feature that allows direct file transfer between devices without relying on cloud services.
Proposed solution:
When opening a file (e.g., a PDF) in an Adobe application, the system could generate a unique, temporary QR code. By scanning this code with a mobile device, the file would be downloaded directly onto the phone, using a local or peer-to-peer connection.
Currently, many users rely on inefficient workarounds to transfer files between devices, such as sending documents to themselves via WhatsApp Web or email.

BUG PDF Embed API – search bar layout bug at specific resolutions
The Adobe PDF Embed API viewer displays a rendering error when the screen has a specific resolution; the text search bar overflows the visible area. The bug is reproducible on the online demo available at

in full‑window mode, by clicking the button that opens the text search on a 1920×1200 notebook screen.1 vote -
Get rid of prompts to use Generative AI
I am annoyed and distracted by the constant prompts to use Adobe's Generative AI feature. I do not want this feature. I have disabled the feature. But I still see a brightly colored button advertising it every time I open Adobe. What is worse, when I try to do a simple search, I get another prompt encouraging me to use Generative AI. I already pay $20/month for Acrobat. I should not have view ads on software I am paying for. But Adobe repeatedly forces me to view what is essentially an ad for an feature I do not want. It's distracting and interferes with my work. There should be an option for users to disable AI, after which we can simply use the software to read documents and get our work done without any pop-ups or notifications.

reveal in finder
Acrobat Pro - Right clicking only reveals source file in Finder if acrobat doesn't detect any 'changes' .
This action is a core part of Mac functionality - every app on the system reveals the file location by right clicking at the top of the window. Please fix.

Bug: Link Tag structure reversal on export
Bug/issue: Tagged Link structure reversed when exporting from InDesign 2026 to PDF - Windows.
We have a hyperlinked grouped object in InDesign 2026, when exporting this to PDF the Tag structure makes the <Link> tag the child of the parent <Figure> (which is incorrect), whereas when the same file is converted and exported from InDesign 2025, it makes the <Figure> the child of the parent <Link> (which is correct).
This is causing an accessibility failure, and we have 300 to manually correct in our PDF document which is time consuming, and we don't want to convert the file should anything shift or change the artwork or functionality in anyway.

MERGING ERRORS
When merging multiple PDFs into one and organizing the pages, Adobe on occasion will copy data fields from one page on top of another page overwriting the original data without my knowledge or permission. This is a major bug that needs fixed ASAP

PDF links change when file is copied
I'm having issues when creating links in a PDF file with Adobe Acrobat (Pro) (Continuous Release | Version 2025.001.21288 |64-Bit).
When I create the link to another PDF while the original PDF is in location A (a network location, that is addressed with the absolute location: \netServer\netFolder\fileName.pdf), the link works fine and the linked file is opened in Adobe Reader displayed.
This is how the link is created (German version):
Verknüpfungseigenschaften > Aktionen > Aktion hinzufügen > Aktion auswählen > Artikel lesen
Aktionen > Datei öffnen > FileEnglish should look like this:
Link Properties > Actions tab > Select Action dropdown > Open a file > Select... (to choose the target file)
However, when I copy the original PDF containing those links, paste it into a different location (location B, e.g. to the Windows Desktop), those links appear to be broken and the linked PDF does not display on click.
Upon further investigation, it appears that the links are appending part of the path of the new location (location B) to the beginning of the path in the link, effectively breaking the link when the PDF is moved (C:\Users\myUser\Desktop\netFolder\fileName.pdf).
So the original absolute path somehow seems to be converted to a relative one, breaking the link.I have already checked that max. path length is short enough for not causing issues.
Any help would be appreciated.I'm having issues when creating links in a PDF file with Adobe Acrobat (Pro) (Continuous Release | Version 2025.001.21288 |64-Bit).

disable annoying popups like "Translate with Adobe Express" or let us disable them in options
disable annoying popups like "Translate with Adobe Express" or let us disable them in options with one click. It looks like Adobe is out of finding useful functions and just adding more and more clutter to all excising apps.

Droplets only work if Acrobat is already running
I'm on macOS Sequoia and I've found that droplets do not work unless I start up Acrobat first. The droplets were created after I upgraded to Sequoia (older droplets don't work at all).
