Bug: Microsoft Word Picture DISTORTED
OS: Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-11980HK @ 2.60GHz (3.30 GHz)In Microsoft Word, I added a picture and “picture format” appeared.
Then in "Picture Styles, I selected “Drop Shadow Rectangle" (the fourth option). Everything looks perfect. Then, I created the pdf. Unfortunately, the style that Word created on the right side of the picture is distorted.
This error began on June 5th.
Before that date, the picture was fine as usual. Now it is not.
- Word document - fine
- PDF SHOWS STRANGE MARKS ON THE RIGHT AND BOTTOM of picture.
- PDF with "X" showing strange line next to piccture.

Default Save Location for Acrobat
When opening PDFs from Outlook, Acrobat saves to the temporary attachment path. When I use “Save As,” I have to browse to my mapped drive every time.
Disabling cloud storage didn’t help—it just defaults to the Outlook temp folder instead.
It would be extremely useful to have a default save location (like Word/Excel) or a quick “Save to default folder” option, especially for users handling a high volume of PDFs.

New Tool Design
Hi,
the new design (at this date: 02.01.2026) makes it very difficult for me to distinguish between the individual functions.
With the help of the colored tools, I could immediately see which function was behind which design. Now without the colors everything looks the same. There are simply too many tools to remember all the differences in the icons.4 votes -
Cursor Sideways and Sideways Copy & Paste Fillable Fields
This is a bug. I can't capture a screenshot of it as it is with the cursor, but the orientation of my cursor is sideways on the screen. Additionally, when I try to make a form fillable and copy and paste the fields from an existing form, it generates all of the fields 90 degrees from where they are supposed to generate.
One screenshot shows what it does when I try to highlight text. The other is what happens when I copy and paste fields into a new document.

Bug Report
Tabs keep changing size and moving about when clicking on them, and it's really easy to accidentally close the tab by mistake - how do you get rid of this feature, as there's nothing under 'Preferences' - ie 'Settings' - about this, unless it comes under some jargon we don't understand. Also, if you move tabs about in a window, they tend to 'jump out' into new windows, which is ******* annoying. If you don't know what 'tabs' are, they're the rectangles at the top of the window, which you click on to move from one document to another. Tabs are used by 90% of people when you working on more than one document at once, when they are requested to go back and forth as quickly as possible on the treadmill to complete a job. I assume it's just an incompatibility in the coding that's causing this glitch, maybe something to do with conflicting protocols, and not something that's been added deliberately to make life really difficult for people working for a living. Can u send this Bug Report to super? I'm sure the paid version has no problems, so let's see the solution enabled in the free one.

Inability to Delete Cached/Typo Email Addresses in E-Sign Auto-Complete (Desktop & Web)
I am Acrobat Pro subscriber under business.
When using the "Request E-signatures" feature, the recipient field automatically caches previously entered email addresses and suggests them in a dropdown list. If a user makes a typo (e.g., entering darlyneo@... instead of darylneo@...), or if a contact's email address changes, that incorrect/old email becomes permanently stuck in the auto-complete cache. There is currently no UI option or keyboard shortcut to delete these bad entries.
This impact users as they would frequently select the typo from the dropdown without realizing it, meaning the intended recipient never actually receives the document.
Please implement a simple management feature for this auto-complete list,
Either add a small "X" or "Delete" icon next to each suggested email in the dropdown menu so users can manually remove outdated or incorrect addresses.

This limitation is present on both:

'Creation of this signature could not be completed.' error when digitally signing a PDF
When I try to digitally sign a PDF in Adobe Acrobat for Windows using a self-created Acrobat Digital ID stored as a PFX file, I get the following error message:
“Creation of this signature could not be completed.”
This happens when I start the digital signature process and Acrobat loads the Digital ID / certificate selection window.
The confusing part is that the signature can still be created. The Digital ID list loads, I can continue signing, the PDF is saved, and when I reopen the PDF Acrobat says:
“Signed and all signatures are valid.”
The error usually appears only on the first signing attempt in a new Acrobat session. After the first attempt, if I close the signing window and try signing again in the same Acrobat session, the error does not appear.
The error also disappears in these cases:
- If I run Acrobat as Administrator.
- If I open the signing panel once, close it, and then try signing again.
- If I first open Preferences → Signatures → Identities & Trusted Certificates → More, close that window, and then try signing.
So the issue seems to happen during the first loading/initialization of the Digital ID / certificate system. The signature itself is created successfully and validates correctly.
I tried the following, but the issue still comes back in normal user mode:
- Removed and recreated Acrobat Digital IDs / PFX files.
- Removed signature appearances.
- Cleared Acrobat AppData folders.
- Reinstalled Acrobat.
- Disabled Run in AppContainer.
- Disabled Protected Mode at startup.
- Cleared Windows certificate cache using certutil.
- Removed Apple/APNS certificate from CurrentUser\My.
- Removed and recreated Microsoft Work/School Workplace Join certificate.
- Checked Windows certificates with certutil.
- The Microsoft Platform Crypto Provider certificate shows “Signature test passed.”
- Office / Work or School account was disconnected and reconnected, creating a new MS-Organization-Access certificate, but the issue still remained.
Based on these tests, the issue does not seem to be caused primarily by a corrupted PFX/Digital ID, a signature appearance cache problem, a damaged Acrobat AppData profile, a simple installation issue, the Apple/APNS certificate, the old Workplace Join certificate, or an invalid final PDF signature.
I cannot fully rule out an interaction with Windows certificate/CryptoAPI/CNG components, but the signature itself validates successfully and the issue persists even after recreating the Microsoft Work/School certificate. The behavior seems to occur during the first Digital ID / certificate loading step in normal user mode.
Current workaround:
I can avoid the error by running Acrobat as Administrator, or by opening and closing the signing/certificate settings once before signing. But Acrobat should not show this error if the signature can be completed and validated successfully.Adobe Acrobat version: 26.1 / DC Continuous

Bug: forced to post comments, inefficient. Bug: cannot copy version number
I have two bugs to report:
1) When I make a comment, I am forced to click the "post" button or delete the comment before I can do anything else on the page. Prior versions of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC saved comments automatically. This "force post" bug is creating a serious loss of efficiency and must be fixed!!
2) When I looked up the version of Adobe I'm running in order to provide details for this bug report, I am unable to highlight the version number in the "About Adobe" window, and the window disappears when I click away so there is no way to see the version number and type it out at the same time. Viewing/copying the version number is a basic functionality required for any software and must also be fixed!!

Accessibility Features converting wrong from Word to PDF
Formerly we would save from Word to PDF Using "Save As" - Options - PDF/A and the accessible settings would hold.
Currently that is not true and creates additional errors. If we save using the generic "Save as Adobe PDF" the Accessible features carry over fine.
We have documentation out on the first procedure so it would be nice to have it fixed. It worked wonderfully in the past.

Matching fonts is unbelievably glitchy
I have edited a previous document almost identical to the one i am now and it worked decent. now i try it agian and some how no matter how hard i search i cannot find a matching font. so all my edits stick out like a sore thumb. it should auto match, and as i delete text it does, then when i add text, it reverts back to some other default font... this is beyond frustrating. but hey, at least theres an ai to make some suggestions..... Why have you made it more difficult to add highlights to pdf's?
Each time I try to highlight, it automatically takes me to a previous highlight. I have to switch back to the selection tool, re-select the text to highlight, then click the highlight tool (sometimes several times) before highlighting again. It seems to require more button clicks, if I've used the comment tool previously. Seems each new update to adobe makes it more difficult (more button clicks) to annotate pdfs and features are being removed or harder to find.
