Dislike the new update
The new update seems to be SO SLOW and crashed on me twice.
I was unable to figure out how to employ the delete-an-item function in "Edit" (by dragging over a section and clicking delete) in the new format and switched back to the previous format to be able to do this. Super annoyed.28 votes -
Feature Request: webform without signature
I would like to be able to create a webform that does not require a signature. This feature would be very valuable for non contractual documents such as intake forms and surveys. Currently even if I do not include a signature field Adobe webform adds one automatically.

Comment list not show all comments
In Adobe Acrobat Pro version 2024.002.20991, comments appear on the pages of a PDF, but some comments in the list don't get highlighted when clicked and don't show up in the list. This issue doesn't occur in the latest version of Adobe Reader or older versions of Adobe Acrobat Pro. Is there a way to revert to the previous behavior so that selecting a comment will highlight it and display the correspondence in the comment list, like in earlier versions of Acrobat Pro? This change in the software complicates our work, as we have to open in comment list to add a reply.
Attached is an example of a problematic highlight issue and a corresponding version.

Silently convert into PDF files and merge
When converting many files, like we have 170 excel files that we want to convert into pdf files, every single file is opened in a new tab, making pop up the windows o acrobat. Like that its not possible to use the computer, as any open window gets unfocused by acrobat. It would be great the have it running in the background

update from ****
The new update is an absolute disaster. You should fire whoever decided to sodomize the menu and annihilate the usability of adobe. I will be forced to abandon this piece of junk if you insist on this insult.

Bring back buttons for previous view and next view
Acrobat previously had an option to have buttons for "Preview View" (using a left arrow icon) and "Next View" (using a right arrow icon). This is no longer the case in the new user interface. Please allow this to be added to the customizable toolbar. Thank you.

Bring your UI back in line with Microsoft Windows please
Your new UI sucks. I'm sure you guys are proud of yourselves for starting with a clean sheet and reimagining the UI, but it's like a QWERTY keyboard. Everyone is trained in a standard UI language, and yours departs from the standard SO much that it's impossible to use.
And your subscription costs a fortune, making the traditional UI of something like Foxit or PowerPDF so much more attractive. Not sure how much longer I'll last fumbling around your clunky UI.

Better customization of the toolbar in acrobat pro 2020
Add ability to hide all unnecessary buttons from the toolbar. If the window is reduced to the size of a DinA4 page almost the whole toolbar is used up by the start and all tools tab and the share and login button. This is a huge disruption to the workflow. I earlier versions this was not an issue with options like creating custom toolbars

New "intuitive" layout
The new "intuitive" layout is HORRIBLE. I do not understand what your motivation was for changing literally everything and moving things around to random locations. It makes no sense whatsoever.

Pageless Format
More people are keeping their files digital and don't intend to print. It's preferable that we simply share links to a webpage or cloud document that is meant to be scrolled through.. but many professionals still insist on emailing file attachments because they are comfortable creating Word Docs or Google Docs, but have no idea how to create a webpage.
PDFs continue to be the file format of choice for portable documents. Some document editing apps, such as Google Docs, have evolved to allow pageless document view - functioning like an endless scrolling web page or an eBook. Exporting a long document to PDF can be jarring when suddenly important content is interrupted by an awkward page break. It's time for Adobe Acrobat to evolve to allow files to be exported as pageless files, like a continuous scrolling eBook. The most efficient way to navigate this kind of pageless document is with "chapters" indicated by headers (H1, H2 etc). This would also encourage more people to learn the correct heading hierarchy. An emphasized scroll bar should indicate how far along you are in the document. Ideally, the reader should be able to increase font sizes, bookmark sections and add comments. To reduce confusion with PDFs designed for print, you can apply a file extension.PDFx or .PDFd
If Acrobat supported this, it would encourage the most popular document editors to favour designing for screen reading.https://www.nngroup.com/articles/avoid-pdf-for-on-screen-reading/
Update:
I've been thinking about a better way to backup my files for archiving. I had some issues with Google Docs - ironically the only way to really export them is as a Microsoft Word Doc or PDF... it's difficult to even move files between Google Drives (ownership is not transferable between gmail drive and a google workspace drive without making a copy of every file). If it was a regular file I could easily copy, move or back it up. I am considering moving towards using Markdown for my documentation, since they're small simple text files and the formatting tends to display well whether I need to export it as HTML or as a PDF. I've been sharing Google Docs with colleagues since it's a pageless format and the view is pretty clean, and quick to open and read. They're still confused how to save my document within their own folders. However, since my issues with managing Google Docs, I am considering using a Markdown editor instead. I still need to be able to share my documents with colleagues in an easily accessible format that isn't an actual webpage, so I might be stuck with PDF. I don't want to go back to Microsoft Word because it tends to force paged views when someone else opens the file, among other issues with versions. This is again an opportunity for Adobe to come up with a document system that looks like a scrolling webpage. A portable document that can be shared, browsed using tabs, sections, a TOC etc since almost everybody is already using Adobe Acrobat to open documents, I can see this type of web document being easily adopted.More people are keeping their files digital and don't intend to print. Incorrect file name is displayed after renaming file
Often times I need to rename files. Windows explorer changes correctly. However, the display name in Adobe still has the old name. This is extremely confusing when multiple files are open. I often review different versions of the same file and the names will pop up the same and is very hard to keep straight. This has happened for quite some time and with different versions of Adobe.
