Update
I recreate a new post instead commenting last one, just to make sure it was taken as important it’s supposed to be, as a critical issue! Hoping you could create another hot fix for this major problem. We are now on macOS Sonoma 14.2.1 and Acrobat Pro version 2023.008.20458.
1: when we use Text tool and select a text to modify all the page became white and we cannot see anything.
2:There is also another problem when we scroll the pages, everything become white also.
3: We are no longer even able to check the preflight result, blank pages again.
It seems that no one from Adobe or Enfocus is actually using this version, as the problem would probably have been solved by now. Enfocus are aware since December 20 and nothing was done. This is our work tools, everything we done all day is using those tools. It's not possible for you to make an update to solve this? Each time Adobe make an update, that's create more problem we never imagine possible.I recreate a new post instead commenting last one, just to make sure it was taken as important it’s supposed to be, as a critical issue! Bug Report: New Acrobat UI does not allow "Hide Toolbars" setting in Windows
The new Acrobat UI does not follow the "Hide Toolbars" setting from "Document Properties" > "Initial View".
Acrobat Version: 2023.003.20269
Platform: Windows 11 22H2Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a PDF and then open the Document Properties dialog. Click on the "Initial View" tab, check the "Hide tool bars" option under "User Interface Options".
2. Save the PDF and then close it. With Acrobat using the new UI model, open the PDF a second time, the "All Tools" side bar is displayed. Expected behaviour: the All Tools toolbar should not be shown as per the User Interface Option settings.
3. Disable the New Acrobat UI. After the App restart, open the PDF. The "All Tools" panel is not displayed (as per the Document Properties UI Setting). This is the expected behaviour. The new Acrobat UI does not follow the "Hide Toolbars" setting from "Document Properties" > "Initial View".

Uninterruptable error dialogs on OCR on a set of files.
If you select and drag/drop a large number of files into the dialog and, for some reason those files are unreadable (eg the drive is no longer mounted) you get uninterruptable "<filename> could not be added to the list because it does not exist." errors, one after another. You cannot interrupt this, so if there are 100+ files you were adding you get 100 error messages one after another that you have to manually click OK on to go past.
Other, more mature, applications notice this behavior and give an option to abort the entire process if there are multiple errors, but not Acrobat, where we are forced to Kill the process.

Is the total number of comments not displayed in the comments review? (April 28, 2024)
I am using Acrobat Pro (JP).
The total number of comments is no longer displayed in the comments review.
When adding two or more comments (annotations), it shows {total} in the comment count. (Please refer to the attached image)It may be due to my individual environment, but I posted this because reinstalling Acrobat Pro did not improve it.
As of April 28, 2024, Acrobat Pro is up to date.
I am using MacOS 12.7.4 / MacBook Pro (14-inch, 2021).Thank you.

Reading aloud for comments
Read aloud for comments section.
I use the generative AI frequently and often times the information is much more succinct and comprehensive than my actual lecture slides.
I usually drop comments with the AI information around the lectures to fill in gaps that are missing.
I love the idea of being able to passively learn via read aloud on long commutes to and from Uni. But most pdfs/ lectures are obviously not meant for that. However, I have found that AI generated information reads perfectly. Would be amazing to have and since it is already available for the pdf itself, seems very plausible to add it to the features.....
Just thought of this also, but ai generative pdfs based on comments would also be amazing. So far, I haven't had any issues with facts being incorrect - I reference them to the document quite often and more times than not the information is much easier to follow. Thanks!

Multiple users can't attatch PDF to outlook email
We've had multiple dozens of users button break on Adobe reader, standard and pro where the Send by email/ attatch PDF as attatchment within the adobe application breaks. When clicked it breaks the application and freezes it for about 5 minutes until it errors out. The only way to get rid of the break is to end it from task manager. This was on multiple systems with different versions of Adobe, Windows 10 (1909, 20h2, 22h2), and software versions.
We tried with the most current versions of both the enterprise version of adobe reader/ standard and older versions but for somereason we can't get it to work.

View with icons only for the «all tools» menu
When I use acrobat, I often need to navigate in the menu with all the tools so it is conviennent for me to have this menu open all the time. But the new menu is taking to much space in my screen, I wish I can see (maybe has an option) only the icons. There was a option like this in the previous interface. (picture 1 = the menu that I speak of)
I try to put all the function that I used in those tools in my «tool bar» but it become way too big for function that I used often but not all the time. (picture 2)
Maybe in the tool bar we can have like the principal icon (colors ones), and when you clic on it you open the menu for all the option related to this icon? (picture 3 = example of what I try to explain)

Get rid of the chimes!
I digitally sign dozens of adobe docs every week, and there is an associated chime when the PDF saves. Please do away with the unnecessary sound, or create a way to turn it off. It is auditorily abrasive and can be really disruptive in an open work environment.

Change Scrolling Speed
Simply put: The ability for users to choose the speed at which scrolling the mouse wheel scrolls the view of a document on Adobe Acrobat.
Changing the mouse settings on the actual OS instead of within Acrobat is not a solution, because Acrobat scrolls at a different default speed than other programs such as File Explorer or any browser. For me, scrolling the mouse wheel while viewing a document in Acrobat is way slower than in Chrome or anything else. For others, I'm seeing plenty of complaints that it's too fast on their devices.
Therefore: The ability to change Acrobat's default scrolling speed is a basic viewing feature that would make it more appealing to use.

polygon hilight tool
I routinely check, review, mark up records. I also use the markups to keep track of changes. Word documents are unacceptable because I need to keep a permanent record that work was done.
PDF Exchange editor has a tool that lets me draw a polygon, and set the color blend mode so the polygon acts like a hilighter. I can use this to flag something that is an issue, use different colors to identify the type of issue, and whether or not it has been addressed/resolved.
Adobe acrobat lets me twiddle the opacity, but this makes reading the file difficult, because the opacity interferes with readability.
Can we have a free-form/polygon hilight tool, or adjust the color blend mode of polygons & lines?

Disappearing blanks in comments
Recently a bug appeared in PDF-commenting.
Suppose you have "1-2" and want to change it to "1 and 2". The way that used to work was this: select the dash and insert a comment with replace text " and " (with blanks before and after). And it worked - importing and applying it in Indesign resulted "1 and 2", as expected. But now those blanks disappear as soon as posting the comment in Acrobat (and it does the same in Acrobat Reader too), so the end result is "1and2", which is definitely wrong!
And if you have to correct "twowords", put the insertion point between o and w, comment with inserting text, type a blank and post the comment... at least that's how worked in good old days. Now the "Post" button is greyed out if in the comment there's just a blank.Recently a bug appeared in PDF-commenting.

Relocate "+ Create" button or make smaller
The new "+Create" button is poorly located. When many documents are open in Adobe, it pushes this new button so far to the left that there is barely any room to grab the top bar so I can move the Adobe window to a different location on my screen or over to a different screen. My mouse ends up grazing the button, thus activating the options mini pop-up, which completely hides any space on the tab bar that was available to grab. Happens often to me and is super-frustrating.
