Half Bold
Half Bold is a chrome extension that helps people with ADHD improve their reading focus and comprehension. I often read documents in PDF form, and it would be helpful to have this feature.

Feature request - Give the user the option to choose default tool to be Arrow/Selection or Hand/Pan
It should be clear with the countless posts of users wanting the default to be the Hand Tool and others wanting the default to be the Selection Tool.
In both cases, there has been countless work arounds and fixes to make it work one way or another. Since this latest update none of the fixes appear to be working now and it seems everyone is forced into having Selection as the default.
Simple feature request - have a Preference setting to select your default tool - Hand/Pan or Arrow/Select.

Request: Auto-Update include annual 'Upgrades'
The AutoUpdate functionality should include the large annual "Upgrades". Version 2022-2023 does not currently update via the autoupdate function and requires administrators to build and deploy an entirely new package every year.

fix the account bugs with business id 's when a organization also uses federated with the same email addresses
My issue is that Adobe treats how you log into adobe with the same email address differently based on the path you log in.... and how changes in the backend for management now is broken with people that use federated and business id's with the same email address.
We use k12 accounts that are federated and we have accounts as business id's (same email addresses) for use only under Acrobat Pro. The changes recently to the admin console now forces Acrobat users to request Adobe admins to grant access (when they already have it for Acrobat Pro and a key assigned to them in the console) and when an admin such as myself approved that request for Acrobat Pro it will auto assign the user as federated ID when those ID's don't work with Acrobat Pro and thus the user is using 2 licenses instead of 1 for Acrobat.
It will not let me remove the federated ID user (throws an error) under Acrobat Pro and only support can remove it, but once they do they still can't use Acrobat because Adobe Creative Cloud thinks they do not have a license key despite they being in the list of having one as a business ID. If they hit the request access it starts the whole cycle over again.
Talking with support they told me yesterday they did not know about the system changing, I should be allowed to delete the federated ID, Acrobat Pro only works with business id accounts, having different user accounts with the same email address your system treats separate (business vs federated) but clearly there is a glitch when how the whole admin/user management has changed. Support manager said he would send me a email to write up everything and give screenshots along with setting up a time to work with me some more today but I never got that email from support.

show the TrimBox instead of Cropbox in the left page corner
wouldn't it make more sense to see the REAL page size in the left bottom corner (or when you hit command-D)?
When I check my PDF, I want to see - in a quick way - if I got the page size right. Rather then if I got the bleed and slug right... Now I have to go to Print production, etc. etc. It would be so much easier to see the size (Trimbox size) straight away, because that is what is most important, right?1 vote -
Adobe Acrobat Synchronizer consumes enormous memory [Mac]
Adobe Acrobat Synchronizer consumes enormous memory: it's now at 35.5 GB.
I know I can kill it in Activity Monitor - but it still shouldn't happen.

Actions: Drag-and-Drop Files, Edit Legacy Actions, Performance, etc.
Please restore functionality that existed in Acrobat X:
1. Drag & Drop files with Legacy Actions and with Acrobat DC actions
2. Do not displaying each file processed by actions for faster processing
3. Be able to edit actions created in prior versions of Acrobat
4. New actions should have an option to prompt user to add more files before running
Please watch the following video for a complete description and comparison of the functionality to Acrobat X:

I want to be able to make an action that when I use PAGE LABELS, split a multi page PDF file into single PDF Files. I don't want to click 12 times and go to tools, organize pages........

Show Even Pages on Left and Odd Pages on Right when Viewing a Document in Two Page Mode
When viewing a document in 2 page mode, adobe by default will show the odd pages on the left of the screen and the even pages on the right. Sometimes I want to see two consecutive pages on the screen at the same type, but the first page will be even and thus I am unable. Please create an option where I can very easily choose whether to show even number pages on the left of the screen if I want when in 2-page view. Mozilla firefox's free PDF viewer can do this in one click, why can't Adobe?
To be Clear say a document has 6 pages: #s 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
Normally Adobe will show pages like this in 2-page view:
1,2
3,4
5,6.But say I want to see pages 2 and 3 on the screen at the same time like this:
2,3
Right now it is impossible to show this orientation without using workarounds. There should be a simple, one-click solution.

Control+Find search box obstructs too much of the page. Make it moveable!
Whenever I use the Control+Find tool to locate text within a PDF the searchbox itself takes up a significant portion of the viewing screen and impedes my ability to see the text and read the PDF. You can move the search box to the top or bottom of the page, but you can not remove it entirely from the viewing screen. There needs to be an option to make the search box smaller or to to move it to the toolbar so the box itself is not in the same window as the document I am viewing. This bothers me so much that I often resort to using mozilla firefox or other web-browsers to view documents despite paying for adobe as they do not have this problem.
While you're at it please give me the option to have the ctrl+F feature cycle through the document after getting to the last page instead of a pop up telling me "Adobe has finished searching the document". Also once it has located several phrases if I click "next" to view the next location of the phrase, but then want to go back and hit "previous" the control+F feature will have to re-search through all those pages to find the phrase, even though it just knew where it was, which takes time and is annoying. Other PDF viewers do not have this problem.
All this matters to me because I'm a medical student and often use this feature to locate specific terms in PDFs of my textbooks which are several hundred pages long and can be pretty dense.

OCR character recognition issue
When copying and pasting serial numbers which contain letters and numbers from PDFs in Adobe Acrobat Pro, the S is often mistaken for 5 and B is mistaken for 8. OCR should be enhanced to preclude this issue from happening.

Menu items for cycling between documents in Acrobat so in macOS we can create our own shortcuts.
On macOS we can set our own shortcuts to most application using the System Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts> Application Shortcut tab.
This is a basic accessibility requirement to my mind, and if it doesn't exist already, it needs to exist.
But there needs to be Menu Bar commands in the Acrobat Menus to actually hook to that function in the first place. Far as I can tell Acrobat doesn't have menu commands to do that.
All the other Adobe apps I use in Creative Cloud suite (most of them) have a a command for that (shortcut "`"/"~" keys) but I prefer those used in browsers etc and Finder itself for that matter(!) "{" left "}" right because it's an easier combo than dropping the Shift key in and out.
Is there somewhere else to do FR, for exmaple some apps like InDesign has a seperate forum for devs, beta users and FRs.
EDIT>
I found out on the Adobe community forums that 'control' + 'tab' cycles through document windows, but it would be good to have menu hooks for it in addition to actually making it obvious that 'control' + 'tab' is a thing. Its unconventional for Mac software to use the control key for shortcuts (its a windows thing) except in 3D apps and the like where they literally have hundreds of shortcuts for tools and processes. On macOS we can set our own shortcuts to most application using the System Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts> Application Shortcut tab.

"Setup has detected that you already have a more functional product installed"
I love the idea of the TRANSITIONINSTALLMODE=3 command line parameter! Because this behind the scene removes the previous 32-bit versions of Reader and Acrobat while installing the new 64-bit unified app. Removing Acrobat usually is a pain because if any other Adobe processes are running, eg acrobat, AcroRd32, photoshop etc then those processes have to be terminated or the install fails.
However there appears to be a version check when using the parameter and so in the scenario where ARM is self updating the 32-bit app and installs say a latest optional update which is a higher version than the 64-bit unified app with the latest planned update, the install will fail with error "Setup has detected that you already have a more functional product installed"
Can Adobe software development PLEASE remove that version check and install the 64-bit unified app REGARDLESS of what the 32-bit App version is? Or at least can the check disregard the 32-bit app version if it's only one optional update version higher?
