AI and printing format
Keyboard shortcut for the AI assistant is the same as the shortcut for printing (Command + P). Rly annoying. why is there even a shortcut for the AI? And then an additional issue: when printing a PDF through Acrobat, for example a page from a google sheet. If I select the page orientation (landscape or portrait) to print the google sheet on the webpage, then when it generates a PDF through acrobat of that google sheet page, and I go to print that, the page orientation does not match what I selected in the google sheet. So then I have to "catch" that and adjust it before printing. Very annoying. Also, I used to be able to print directly from the google sheet webpage, but now that I have acrobat it will automatically generate it as a PDF and then have to print from acrobat. Very annoying extra work.

Keep the settings per the last session (pan vs select)
As someone who has getting older and hard to see the tools, it would be spectacular if I didn't have to toggle to the pan button every time I open a PDF. Who want to select things by default in a PDF? Or at least have a preference so the user can select the desired tools to be set. I work with large plans, and it's my preference to be able to pan by default. I don't want the select tool active as it can select lines and get inadvertently moved. All you need to do is in Customize Toolbar, allow the user to swap out any tool flyout and select the desired one. That it! Easy right? A couple of seconds each pdf x 100's and ultimately my sanity.

Easily attainable explanations of predictable issues with new features
DESCRIPTION OF DESIRE FEATURE:
Create Google searchable help pages, Adobe run forum entries, and AI Assistant responses for foreseeable user issues with new features or forced preference changes. These entries should take on an approach like "Why am I seeing a popup about color profiles every time I export a PDF as a JPG??!"
And, ideally, create a new job at Adobe called "New feature rollout customer experience technician" for facilitating the creation of these vital safety nets.
WHY THIS FEATURE IS NEEDED:
Lately, I've noticed I’ve been running into many issues with updating Acrobat DC and having Adobe either add new features or change preferences in ways that significantly alters user experience with no explanation. Or maybe they initially give me a popup of "would you like this to happen every time for the rest of eternity?" long before I know what I'm agreeing to or have the mind to record this event so I can track it down 6 months later when it becomes a nightmare.
For example: during one of your recent updates - I'm not sure which one (which is part of the problem) - Acrobat began generating a popup every time I exported a PDF as a JPG; asking me if I'd like to attach a color profile (See the attached snapshot). The process of exporting PDFs as JPGs is a timed event at my job, and when I have to do 100s of these, this becomes a nightmare.
The problem isn't that this popup happens, because I understand that some people out there must really need the ability to do this, and I’ve recently figured out how to turn these popups off. No, the real problem is that a Google search about the issue, a detailed forum search, a help file search, and an AI Assistant request all produced zero results about this problem. Even when my search looks like: Acrobat popup "Do you want to attach the profile". A perfect search that should immediately return results about this new feature. Yet, unbelievably, it produced nothing. And I had to spend months suffering with this issue until stumbling upon a section in "preferences" that I never would of thought to check for. Especially given, as many of your Acrobat users would likely agree, I’ve never needed to see if Acrobat even has a preferences area.
If I was Adobe, and was rolling out a new feature that changed the ways people did things, especially with software that needs to be used by all walks of life these days, I would naturally assume this would be a nightmare for many people who NEED their programs to work the same way every single day in order to be effective at their jobs - some such people who, I should add, are not programmers or Adobe enthusiasts and aren't fanboys of the inner workings of all your programs or methodologies. I would realize these types of issues are unavoidable, easily predictable, and, in many ways, universal and I would begin making detailed, keyword filled, easily accessible explanations for all these predictable issues.
I believe you guys need to hire somebody. A "New feature rollout customer experience technician". Somebody whose job it is to facilitate explanations and generate safety nets based on predicted user experiences. In addition, all emails, forum posts, and Adobe chats that take on the nature of "why is this happening??!" would facilitate through this person and their team so they could not only answer these individual customer issues with expert awareness and appropriate compassion, but, more importantly, these individual experiences would directly influence the improvement of the sites, forums, safety nets, and general tools of the new feature rollout customer experience.
Love you. Good luck.

"Find and Replace All" Functionality for Adobe Acrobat
Dear Adobe Acrobat Development Team,
I am writing to request a new feature for Adobe Acrobat that I believe would greatly enhance the usability and efficiency of the software for many users. Specifically, I would like to suggest the addition of a "Find and Replace All" functionality that allows users to search for a specific text string within a PDF document and replace all exact occurrences of that string with another specified text.
Currently, while Adobe Acrobat provides powerful tools for editing and searching text, there is no streamlined way to automatically replace all instances of a particular text string across an entire document. This feature is common in word processing software, and its absence in PDF editing can be a significant inconvenience for users who need to make consistent changes across lengthy documents.
The "Find and Replace All" feature should include the following capabilities:
Case-Sensitive and Case-Insensitive Options: Allow users to choose whether the search should be case-sensitive. Whole Word Matching: Enable the option to match only whole words, preventing partial replacements within other words. Review Changes Before Replacing: Provide an option to review each occurrence before replacing, similar to the functionality in text editors. Undo Functionality: Ensure that the replacement action can be easily undone in case of mistakes.
This feature would save time, reduce the potential for errors, and make Adobe Acrobat an even more powerful tool for document editing. I believe that this addition would be highly appreciated by the global user base, particularly those who frequently work with large documents or need to ensure consistency in legal, academic, or professional documents.
Thank you for considering this suggestion. I look forward to seeing Adobe Acrobat continue to evolve and improve.
Best regards,

New feature: in the drop down menu of a pdf file select Save low resolution
Dear support team,
I would like to propose a new feature of Acrobat: in the drop down menu when I right click on one or more pdf files I would like to directly select Save low resolution version/optimised version, and maybe also Export as image and other formats. This would require just one/two more buttons in the drop down menu (with subcommands of course): Save as and eventually also "export as" if you can't put all these under the Save as command.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Matteo Lanfranchi

New UX, Chiming in
Along with others I am horrified at the tragic mess the UX (yes, user experience) has become. The UI design is following the unfortunate trend of "unify everything" into a web/mobile topology that has been infecting applications for a while now.
I had a well-developed workflow in Acrobat Pro, that the new & obnoxious UI design, that you shoved down my CPU's throat, broke. More than that, the usability of the new atrocity is a step back.
A number of problems/defects are exhibited, but the three deal breakers are:
1- the floating toolbar (it's fine to have it as an option, but not being able to place it in the old, much preferred header position, is not)
2- Side panel operations bar jumping to the right (again, if it were an option, I wouldn't mind). Having it forced on me is a no go, period.
3- The insidious hamburger menu replacing the good old (and well established) conventional windows menu bar is... Yuch!Final note, I was working on a number of documents in the Much better previous UI version, closed it and when I came back my computer vomited this massive mis-step. Talk about a rude shock.
I cannot overstate... Yuch, Yuch, Yuch!

Crop tool
Can Adobe PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY - add the crop tool back to the main set of tools (All tools) so I dont have to constantly remind myself where the heck it is? Why did Adobe bury the lead? The crop tool used to be front & center and now its hidden in a tab. I'm forever searching for it on the rare occassion I need to crop within Acrobat.

Cannot add new text over existing bounding boxes in new version
Had to revert to the older version to be able to add new text boxes. I'm trying to add text to PDFs of documents saved during the "Print to PDF" feature. When doing so, the bounding boxes are placed in seemingly arbitrary locations, and any attempt to edit them HORRIBLY messes up the formatting. My job requires I add text near the title of the document, but the default bounding box takes up about 4/5ths of the printable area. This hasn't been an issue for me before, as using the "add text" button on the top ribbon opened the appropriate format tool and allowed me to add new text where I choose.
After the update, however, if I try to use the new "add text" button, it auto selects the massive bounding box, turning the dotted line blue as I mouse over the area. Adding any text or adjusting anything at all within these bounding boxes destroys any cohesion to my document - all existing text becomes a garbled mess. I was able to escape this phenomena by reverting to the older version, but I fear this issue will not be fixed before I am forced to use the updated edition.
MY SUGGESTION: Make the new "Add Text" button add a new text box wherever desired, regardless of existing bounding boxes. Disable the selection of bounding boxes when using the add text tool. To edit existing text, select the bounding box manually to enter editing mode.

IT Admin Ability to Disable Adobe Print Preview / Dialog Menu
There is an issue with Adobe's printer dialog menu / print preview that, when you print to a copier that requires a copy code in order to print, the job doesn't come out because the Adobe dialog menu isn't sending the copy code.
This is a macOS issue only as far as I know.
This problem is going back to 2017 and has never been addressed. Please see this forum thread about it: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/pdf-print-jobs-aren-t-processed-with-user-codes-from-adobe-dc-or-acrobat-pro/td-p/9010649
If you're not going to fix the product so that copy codes are sent through your printer dialog menu / print preview, at least give IT Admins the ability to disable it for our end users.
You can do this in Google Chrome: https://support.dryfta.com/how-to-disable-print-preview-in-chrome-firefox-on-windows-mac/
We would love for the ability to do that with Acrobat, Reader, etc.
Seems like this would be easy to implement.

"Enable scrolling" setting does not persist
When "Enable scrolling" is off, as it is by default, mouse scroll can scroll 10 pages or more in an instant, if the vertical page size is a little larger than the screen. It is unusable for me, so I need to change the setting every time I open a document, since the setting does not persist.
Why not make it so the setting will persist, so I don't need to change it every time I open a document?

Not all changes make a product better
I shake my head every time a software company changes its look or its lay-out just for the sake of change. If it's not broke, LEAVE IT ALONE!!!
This week has been taxing because a good majority of my work deals with Adobe Pro documents. My muscle memory is completely off because y'all decided to flip the layout to opposite sides of the screen. I have to squint every time I'm looking for the print button. It's just like when Samsung decided to change sides for the volume and power buttons. Why?
Where is my "Save As" icon?!? I shouldn't have to click on "File" to get to "Save As".
I want my page selection and Zoom features back at the top where I need them, not stuck at the bottom right; again, squinting to see them.
Change colors, change fonts, but STOP changing layouts.

Page scrolling in the scroll bar has a bug
When you click on the shaft of the scroll bar, it doesn't go down/up by a page, but by more than a page.
This only happens when "Enable scrolling" in disabled in the toolbar.Steps to reproduce: Disable "Enable scrolling" in the page navigation toolbar. Click with the mouse left button on the scroll bar shaft region to scroll one page up or down.
Environment: Windows 10 Pro. Acrobat Reader Continuous Release | Version 2024.005.20320 | 64-bit
Expected behavior: Scrolling one page up or down.
Observed behavior: Scrolling more than one page up or down.
