  2. Always Show Scroll Bar Setting not Persistent - macOS

    When the system setting on macOS for "Show scroll bars" is set to "Always", Adobe Acrobat does not honor this setting.

    If you toggle the setting in macOS system settings to another option and then back to "Always", the scroll bar shows up.

    If you close the PDF or Acrobat, or open a different PDF, the scroll bar disappears.

    The scrollbar should always be present on all PDF's when this setting is checked in the macOS System Settings, OR an option should be available in the Adobe Acrobat preferences with similar functionality.

  3. Errors in transparency when Print to PDF from PPT

    There is a bug in transparency when printing a PPT to a PDF. See PrintToPDF.jpg. The resolution is also not 1200 DPI as specified in the settings.

  4. Fix the extreme memory and CPU usage

    I am using Adobe Reader 2024.002.20759. Last week during the night when I was not using the computer, it ate all the available memory causing itself and other programs to crash. Today I noticed some high CPU usage (about 15%) by the Reader without me doing anything inside. It had also eaten 4GB of memory. I closed one document and the CPU usage fell to 0%. I closed all open documents but the memory was not released. I restarted Reader and reopened all previous documents, did some search and scrolled through them. No high CPU usage and the memory used…

  6. Correct open password not accepted

    In Acrobat Pro I cannot open a password protected file, in Mac Preview the same password works. This is an unacceptable bug for paid software. I paid to have working software.

    I need to perform global find and replace and the find and replace dialog has select entire word grayed out in settings. I have hundreds of tags to change and this is killing me. Please enable the select entire word check box for find and replace. And yes, the new versions revision of adobe 2023 suck.

  12. Password bug

    Protecting a document with a password - multiple bugs encountered in new update of Acrobat. On occasion, you can set a password to view the document and it works the first time, but then when trying to re-open the document a second time, it insists you are typing the password wrong and will not open.   18. Bug: A comment containing only a space character cannot be posted

    When adding a comment that contains only a space character, the comment cannot be posted. This means that it is impossible to mark up changes that involve inserting a space, or replacing another character with a space in an 'import PDF comments' (https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/indesign/using/import-pdf-comments.html) workflow in InDesign.
