In the newest update, I can highlight the redaction, but the "apply" button remains dim, with no further instruction.

Auto Update Portfolio PDFs with most current versions
When you create a PDF Portfolio, you're basically bringing in multiple files into one location, correct?
It would be great if the portfolio automatically updated when one of its' linked files was updated.
For instance, let's say I made a Portfolio of 12 different PDFs. I make an edit to one of those individual PDFs. The next time I open the portfolio, Acrobat automatically updates the portfolio with the updated PDF.
Short of that, it would be nice to be alerted that one of the PDFs (or whichever file types are used) has been updated and you can click to…

Disable PDF attachments of documents sent with Adobe Sign audit reports
Audit reports of documents sent for signature or completed include attached PDF of the documents. Please allow a setting to sent the audit reports without attachments. Some documents are sensitive and should not be retained in email accounts.

I come back to my work computer (that no one uses or administrates) to find Acrobat has lost my Quick Tools customisations. How hard is it to make an app that just remembers it's ******* settings between sessions??

Problem with preflight
I have install Acrobat Pro DC. I go to print production to use preflight but i can΄t . I receive a message : "Preflight is getting installed. Please wait to use this tool". Nothing happend. I wait all day (up to 12hours) and i receive again and again the same responce. Any ideas? Thanks

Requesting 'Marathi' language to be added to Acrobat Pro DC under 'Set Reading Language'
Although the popular screen readers do support Marathi language and voice, Adobe PDF Reader does not support Marathi to be set as a ‘Reading language’ yet so although the document is read in Marathi, it’s not being read in clear n correct phonetics/ accent.
I hope, Adobe will be able to add Marathi font soon during the next update or so.

Portfolios Conversion Extraction
First, I was unaware that the printing/Exporting from Outlook of a single email message was being created into a PDF Portfolio. The file extension does not reveal that it is anything different from a PDF Document.
When dragging and dropping that file/Portfolio to append a document in Acrobat DC, the Portfolio is only shown as an advertisement to Get Adobe Reader. There is no access to the document(s) contained and the append operation fails.
Please utilize a distinct/different file extension to indicate PDF Portfolios.

In Acrobat DC for Mac version 22.002.20191, after I use 'text' to write in a PDF, I can no longer highlight the preexisting text. To restore that functionality, I have to select 'edit' and then return to 'document'. Please fix this.

Add a single-command function to create new layers for all pages in the same pdf file
ask for one single command to create new layer(s) on all pages for note taking purposes. easy to toggle between showing and hiding the notes.
Now users can only create new layer page by page by "importing layers" from files. Adobe should bring in the similar function available in Photoshop which allow users to create a blank layer(s) for all pages of a pdf file in a single command, and let users to enter notes, comments or other annotations on the selected layers. readers can then switch the layer between visible and hiding depending on the use scenario.

Give back the text box
I want the framed box back. I put all kinds of status notes on PDFs and with the true Text-Box I could see them when browsing in Explorer.
Hidden comments or hidden sticky notes are useless for this purpose.

Adobe Acrobat Pro (Ver 2022.001.20169) keeps giving me an error message saying that I have to select pages when I have already done so.
This error has happened before but then goes away after an Adobe update. I am using macOS ver 12.5. I have been using Adobe Acrobat for over 30 years,

Memory Leak in OCR feature
There seems to be a memory leak in the OCR feature. If you try to OCR a large (say 500+ page) scanned text my computer alerts that I've run out of application memory (see attached photo). This is bonkers and needs to be fixed! You've got to memcheck this or something...

Role Customization and additional Collaboration/Markup tools
We are currently in the process of modernizing our internal approval processes and have a number of forms that have been converted from excel worksheets into PDF forms. These forms when submitted, need to step through and be signed by a number of reviewers before final approval by the company Director.
Our process is very collaborative and quite often, signers/reviewers have additional information that needs to be added to the document as it passes through different departments.

Change default open screen to Tools Tab Adobe DC Pro.
I would like to be able to open Adobe DC Pro and it already be on the Tools tab instead of the Home tab.
I think this could be accomplished by having this as setting to give users a choice.
