  2. Default to have thumbnails show up

    I used to be able to have thumbnails show up every time I open a .pdf. I open very large file all the time, so it's very nice to be able to set thumbnails to be visible as a default instead of having to request it with each new document

  3. Continuous Numbering

    The LexisNexis Adobe CaseMap plug-in allows continuous bates numbering. The plug-in allows you to save the current bates numbering sequence, as well as prefixes, for future use. For example: Let's say one day I bates number a serious of documents (say it ends up being A0001-A0113). And then a week later I need to bates stamp more documents. I click on the name of the series I last saved and then my new files will automatically begin at A0114.

  5. Editing pictures annoying pop up window

    Here's an idea...whenever trying to edit a picture and this ANNOYING message pops up:
    "The object you selected uses transparency and might look different in your editing application. Furthermore, the appearance of the page may change in unexpected ways after this object is edited. Do you want to edit this object anyway?"

    A NEW OPTION appears > DO NOT ASK AGAIN FOR EVER AND EVER THRU ETERNITY. THANKS

  6. Edit PDF in Adobe Pro DC online

    The online version of Adobe Pro DC needs to have an edit function for existing PDFs. Especially ones that were created in the desktop version of Pro DC. You are unable to continue working on a PDF that you created on the desktop, but need to do an update or edit to that file away from your desktop/office.

  7. convert fonts to outlines as a simple function

    dear, it is very frustrating to have to convert fonts to outlines through the process of placing watermark and flattening transparency.

  8. Adobe Acrobat Standard DC 2015 crashes when opening settings

    Adobe Acrobat DC 2015 crashes with no errors when editing settings, crashes when attempting to generate system report, GUI not legible on Windows 10 machine. Reinstalled, repaired installation all failed. What do I do?

  9. Error message "Unknown error" when trying to edit

    Acrobat Pro DC loads the attached PDF file correctly but when try to edit it gives the error “Adobe Acrobat has encountered an unknown error”.

  10. Headers and footers should use document's page labels instead of inventing page labels

    I want to suggest an improvement to Acrobat Professional:

    When adding headers or footers to a document, I suggest that the mechanism use the document's page numbers, instead of inventing its own.

    For example, my document has page numbers A.1 through A.29 followed by B.1 through B.7 followed by C.1 through C.6 ... followed by V.1 through V.11.

    Right now, it seems that the only way I can get the actual page numbers to accurately appear in the footer is Add 22 different footers. That's an onerous task.

  11. Ability to edit tables on pdf

    I would like to edit a table contained in the body of a pdf; however, it seems possible to only remove from the table. This would be a major time saver!

  12. Adobe Acrobat DC always crashes when editing in Windows 7

    Whenever I try and edit a PDF it crashes every single time. I have uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled, ran fix the install, made sure protected view was off, made sure it was activated with Adobe distiller. I have tried everything on this page. I am running windows 7 on a brand new computer.

    Hi,

    Adobe Acrobat and Reader official update containing the fix for this issue is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. If you want, you may also manually trigger the update by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates.

  13. Cropping documents

    I went to crop a PDF to its printer marks and happily pressed the Crop tool in Edit mode. then selected the atre I wanted to crop, then had no idea how to apply the crop....nothing in the interface tells me I'm at the stage where I can now execute the crop. Everything is greyed out and only the Crop icon is available. I had to hit the Enter key to do it. Why is there no way to execute the crop, once the area is selected?   14. Disappearing Text

    After editing a large pdf file and saving it, upon re-opening, text has disappeared. Please see the attached file and advise. This appears to be affecting the Title pages, not imported ones. PLEASE HELP!

  15. Bug: When I go to edit PDF and add web links to a full paged image, the image tilts.

    Bug: When I go to edit PDF and add web links to a full paged image, the image tilts and causes a white line to appear in the bottom right of the page where the image is no longer covering due to the tilt. Also the entire image will look crooked at this point too. I have to go to Edit > Undo to make it go back. This is weird and very annoying and happens every time I use Edit.

  16. Being about to type equations when you're editing PDFs.

    My professors take out certain parts of their powerpoints so students have to go to class to be able to fill in the PDF of the powerpoints. But, sometimes, I need to fill in equations but there is no way to add them like you can in Microsoft's equation editor.

  17. Drawing on PDFs

    As a student, I love adobe acrobat. I use many PDFs for research projects, and need to draw lines easily and do some equations using my touchscreen. It would be great to have a pen in the quick access tool bar, instead of having the bulky comment tool bar on top. Maybe i'm missing the option, but I'd love to see this. A competitor to one note?

  18. not allowing me to edit my PDF. a box keeps popping up saying that "Adobe Acrobat has encountered an unknown error. Please Help!!

    i am trying to edit a PDF and it keeps showing a message that it is unavailable and i do not understand how i am supposed to fix this issue. If someone could please help me i would greatly appreciate it!
