2. Make menus smaller

   I am not a fan of the new interface. This does not improve anything for users. It just changes the side a menu is on and forces users to change they way they interact with a document and how they work in Acrobat every workday.

   That said, if this is to remain this way... Make the menus smaller or allow the user to adjust them. There is a lot of white/empty space between the tools listed and the actual document.

   I typically use Adobe while it is on half of my screen (I have a 22" monitor) so I can review/update data concurrently. With the menus open, it takes up over half of the viewing area of the Document. It also limits the view/usability when trying to organize pages within the document.

   Lastly, Please leave comments and other menus closed upon opening a document. My first actions are to close these so I can read/view the document. If I need to see comments, I can open that function separately. If you are worried that comments will not be seen, put a small indicator on the side menu that shows or changes color when comments are present.

3. curved lines

   When creating a PDF from AutoCAD my curved lines appear as a different line weight from their straight counter parts. I have upped my resolution, DPI, and raster quality in both CAD and Adobe. Nothing has fixed this issue.

   I hope you can help us. We have found out that links cannot be executed with activated screen reader (NVDA, version 2024.4.2) after focusing with the Tab key. Although you can focus the link, you cannot execute it by pressing Enter.

   Read Out Loud only seems to pause when there is punctuation, however, there are other things like Title, Subtitle, Summary, Comments, etc. on a page that do not end with punctuation. It reads them without pause. This is confusing, even if you a reading along as it speaks. Perhaps you could add some AI that recognizes structures like these and inserts a pause (the same amount of time you'd use on a Period.) Or perhaps it's as simple as pausing when there's a line break, even if there's no punctuation. Smaller changes to the reading quality like this offer considerable benefit to the user. Thank you.

12. "Copy selected text into Highlight, Strikethrough, and Underline comment pop-ups" is not available in Commenting preferences.

    I came from Acrobat DC, in DC, there's option "Copy selected text into Highlight, Strikethrough, and Underline comment pop-ups" in Commenting preferences. It really speeds up my commenting, because I need to search the highted text, especially in a long document, such as book. So, please add it back. Thanks!

    I used one of the hundreds of free websites to convert my file, the fact that a paid service is worse than them, means I will not subscribe as this product is not good enough yet.

15. Changes in the interface

    I'm not sure what the purpose of the constant changes to the program's interface is. Why was the toolbar moved from the right side to the left side? What does it mean? I have a problem with that. If I make a tutorial for colleagues at work, every change in the interface can be very confusing. It would probably be best to return the changes in the interface back to the original state.

16. Please could Acrobat be intelligent about paper sizes when printing???

    I have just printed an A5 PDF onto 50 sheets of A5 paper. But Acrobat wasn't intelligent enough to realise it was an A5 PDF, so it scaled it up to A4. As a result half the information was missing on the printouts and what was visible was huge. And I wasted an hour of my time and a lot of paper.

    Please could Acrobat be intelligent enough to realise that if someone is printing an A5 PDF they would normally want to print it onto A5 paper. You should not have to change the paper size in Printer Propertes - Acrobat should be intelligent enough to default to the paper size that matches the dimensions of the PDF.

    This would be very easy for you to implement - MS Word, for example, has had that level of intelligence from day 1.

    Obviously, if the user-selected print driver doesn't support the paper size of the PDF - for instance, if you're printing an A3 PDF on an A4 printer, then defaulting to A4 and scaling the PDF would make sense.

    But where the print driver supports the paper size of the PDF, as it does when printing an A5 PDF on an A4 printer, or when printing an A3 PDF on an A3 printer, then Acrobat should default to the paper size of the PDF file, and 100% scale.

    Also, you have a webpage at https://www.adobe.com/uk/products/wishform.html which claims it has a feature request submission form on it, but it doesn't! Please either remove that webpage or add a link in it to this form.

17. User Interface is Terrible

    Most of the time when there is an upgrade you get used to it and after a while see the benefits of it or at least accept the change.
    But I have never seen such an awfull designed UI like with the latest Upgrade.
    Everything is moved for no reason where we are used to locations of buttons and functions. Why is the Save button on top right where in 99% of all other applications its top left same for print etc.

    If someone works with this the first time, he might gets used to it but for me personally it is just terrible to work with like it is now. please make this either optional that we can change it back, make the Menu movable that everybody can amend to personal preference or just bring back the old menu.

18. Stop What's New popup

    The 'What's New' popup occurs with every new document opened even if Adobe Pro is already running. It is horribly annoying. If it is supposed to turn off once you review the pages, that is not working. Please add a mechanism to 'turn off notification'. I assume that Adobe is not posting new features to the product every 2 minutes.

19. Print to PDF Error .log file

    When printing to Adobe PDF the Microsoft program font's do not match with Adobe and I get a .log file instead of a PDF. The software cannot read the .log file and we cannot view the document. This started when Microsoft made the new default font Aptos. and Adobe doesn't have this font or doesn't recognize it.

    In order to print to Adobe PDF on Microsoft products, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. we have to change the print properties to UNCHECK "rely on system fonts only, do not use document fonts" which is a hack I found online from someone's blog.

    Please resolve the issue and provide information about updates. This issue is really annoying.

    Please add the Aptos font to your system ASAP.

    I'm trying to create a pdf in acrobat pro from a Mailchimp URL. it says you're having a connectivity problem and says to follow a link to Mailchimp ... but Mailchimp says there is no problem. Are you working on the problem on your end? Thanks!
