Allow Permanent Disabiling Generative AI - without having to disable multiple times!
Make disabling Generative AI work, or lose another customer.
I bought PDF Exchange... all because Adobe wants to force AI on us. I still use, but if I have to leave, it will be permanent.
I did the registry key fix, nothing.
I disable Generative AI in settings, and if I close and reopen Acrobat, they are all automatically re-enabled. This is beyond upsetting. What other settings have you overridden, maybe my security settings?
That all said, you are adding another :15-20 seconds to every PDF I open (dozens a day). What gives Adobe???

Acrobat Reader - The most annoying application in the world (to bigg, to slow, full of poping up windows)
Please make your Reader DC so small and comfortable as version 9.0. Only open PDF an read PDF. No poping up windows, no trials, no consuming 1,3 GB of disk space. We only need open and read PDF. If we need more function, we can pay and download other products from Adobe, but we do not need lack off annoying notifications.

Export to HTML drops text
Exporting a PDF file that contains only text (no text boxes, no images, no tables) to HTML drops lines of text. The resulting HTML file is NOT representative of the PDF from which is was made.

audio reader
So, for years we have been using Adobe Reader to read out lout the scripts we receive. Today I tried to use it and a few things jumped out at me.
1. The feature is no longer triggered through the right click menu, but paired together with "NEW AI FEATURES". When I click the AI audio reader I see a tiny 10 min marker. Then the Podcast explanation AI button say 2h 6m and so on. I clicked the feature we normally use for reading our scripts passively. 10 minutes into the read and the paragraphs are split down the…1 vote -
AI podcast feature is great, but how to share OR save it?
Acrobat's AI podcast feature is great!!!
But how do I save or share the actual audio? I’d like to attach it to my document and be able to send it out, or post both together.
There doesn’t seem to be a link to download it or even a link to share it.
This AI model is amazing :) But I would like to be able to share the podcast, please :)

Combine Files tool completely deletes existing alt text and corrupts tag properties
[CRITICAL SYSTEM BUG / DATA LOSS REPORT]
Product: Adobe Acrobat Desktop (Regular version, Continuous Release)
Category: AccessibilitySummary of Defect:
The "Combine Files" tool destroys existing accessibility metadata strings during the document serialization process. While the top-level structure tree appears to maintain a "Passed" status for a Tagged PDF, all underlying values assigned to figures and graphics are entirely stripped upon file save.Steps to Reproduce:

2. Open Adobe Acrobat and use the "Combine Files" tool to merge the…1 vote -
unique file name for signed "web form"
When using a web form that goes to multiple separate recipients, append the file name with the recipient's name or email, not just " - signed" ---
For instance now, I have to open each file to know who it belongs to and then save it with a new name:
"ANF-Requested Form for Projects, Vendors and Contractors - signed (3).pdf "
would be much improved and save so much time if it was:
ANF-Requested Form for Projects, Vendors and Contractors - signed - signer@email.pdf
Or something like that. Thanks!

Add setting to ignore "FitWindow true" directive to stop PDF auto-resizing
When a PDF has the "FitWindow true" directive, Adobe Acrobat will resize and sometimes even move positions whenever you open the document, unless you open it, right-click, go to Properties, Initial View, and uncheck "Resize window to initial page". But doing so for every applicable document is cumbersome. It would be best to have an option to ignore that function by default like how other 3rd party PDF readers like Foxit do.

You spelled the word contract as "CONTTRACT"
You spelled the word contract as "CONTTRACT" in your demo ad. It is in the largest possible font size and really nukes all credibility.

How to Choose the Right Digital Wallet Development Company?
I'm planning to launch a digital wallet for my fintech startup and have been researching different providers. There are many companies offering wallet solutions, but I'm looking for one with experience in blockchain, strong security, multi-currency support, KYC integration, and scalable architecture. I recently came across a digital wallet development company that provides customizable wallet solutions with Web3 support and white-label options, which seems like a good fit for startups. What features do you think are essential when selecting a development partner?

AI is severely incompetent
I can’t believe Adobe is calling this AI. It’s not. Glorified chatbot? Maybe. It answers questions fairly well. But it can’t actually DO anything. Example? Because my business has factories in 5 states. I must file state tax returns in each of them. I get a PDF containing the federal form and each state form. The file includes a table of contents that clearly marks the start of each form. I asked the AI to break it into five separate files. It couldn’t do it. Extracting multiple PDFs is something I do a lot. But an AI specifically created for…

revert fromt text list to old Acrobat
I’m very surprised I don’t see other people complaining about this. With the new Adobe Acrobat pro the Format Text list changed. It used to just display all your fonts in alphabetical order, and now you have fonts in used, your computer ( which does not display any fonts you have installed ) and your fonts.
Im adding images to make it more clear.
The first image you can see how the new list.
the 2nd image is what the list used to look like.
the 3rd image, you can see Acrobat sees my akkurat font. I’m able to select…1 vote -
Drawing markup has become unnecessarily difficult
I've been using Adobe Acrobat Pro to review and mark up engineering drawings, and I wanted to share my experience with the latest release.
Today I needed to perform a very simple task: add a double-ended dimension arrow and a text label to a PDF drawing. What should have taken around two minutes instead took well over half an hour.
The main issue was not a lack of functionality, but that the functionality was extremely difficult to discover.
The ⋯ button on the toolbar opens Customize Toolbar, which naturally led me to believe that this was where I needed to…

keyboard shortcut for page display tools
Wasn't sure if this should go under UI or Accessibility, but... I often need to change the view of pages (single, two-page, scrolling, no scrolling).
It would be helpful if this could be toggled with keyboard shortcuts instead of having to click them in the quick tools bar.
If this is already possible, I'd greatly appreciate if someone could let me know how!
Thanks!

Adobe Acrobat keeps collapsing to an icon bar every time I move it. This is a ridiculous design flaw.
