Your circular icons in the comment panel are painful to look at. The "Text-replace" icon is illegible
You need to clean-up / simplify your comment circle icons, the previous version had non-distracting icons, in the newest version all I can pay attention to is how poor the "text-replace" icon is, scales poorly.

new update makes work inefficient
This recent update is extremely frustrating. It dropped off tools that were in my toolbar previously (page view/zoom options disappeared) and I had to figure out how to get them back.
Not only is the comments bar is now uglier/bulkier, when you have sorted comments to not include ones marked as completed it no longer dynamically removes the comments you mark as you go. You now have to go back and clear your comment filter and reapply "none" to hide completed comments.
To add insult to injury, there is no longer an option for other versions in ACC, so I…

Commenting Authors colours
Hello,
I'm a graphic designer and receive a lot of amends to work via PDFs using comments I can have upto 200 comments to deal with. Previously you had authors names in different colours so you could clearly pick out the changes. Now with the new update, all fonts are in black or grey. It needs to be at least customisable for the viewer to change this in the preferences.

Add quick buttons to comments to set Status (Accepted/Cancelled/Completed/Rejected)
Small icons on comments (could be hidden until mouseover) to quickly set a comment's Status with a left-click. Could be 4 icons (preferable), or one icon that toggles between Status type.

Acrobat text-edit comment functionality improvements needed
1) In the old comment pane, there was text that accompanied each entry identifying it as an underline, strikethrough, replacement, or insert. Now, the text identifier is gone and we only have an arcane symbol. This is awful. I work with clients who are less familiar with Acrobat and this only makes it more difficult for them to understand the nature of my comments. Please bring back the text labels that identify comment pane entries as underlines, strikethroughs, replacements, or inserts.
2) You know not everyone uses Acrobat on a collaborative team of a dozen people, right? I use it…

Acrobat text-edit comment functionality improvements needed
Three problems with the new update on Acrobat, all relating to text-edit comments. 1) Underline, strikethrough, replace, and insert are now represented only by arcane symbols in the comment pane. Before, there used to be the actual words "underline", "strikethrough", "replace", or "insert." Such text labels are gone, and they don't even appear with a mouse-over. This is awful. I work a lot with clients who are less familiar with Acrobat comment functionality, and this only makes it less clear for them. Bring back the text labels for the comment pane entries. 2) You know not everyone uses Acrobat in…

Acrobat 2019
Removing the Accept check box in the comments field was a terrible idea. Right clicking to a dropdown menu or clicking on ... to get to the dropdown is archaic.
When you have hundreds of changes on a document this adds up fast to inefficiency.3 votes -
PLEASE Don't make the user go through a menu to check off a comment! You DOUBLE the time it takes to go through comments.
PLEASE ELIMINATE the need to go through a dropdown menu just to check off a commnet.
IT WAS FINE to have a checkbox. It took HALF THE TIME.

Comment Tools / Custom Tools
I would like to be able to lock the Comment Tools and/or my personal Custom Tools to the top of the Toolbar so they automatically show up each time you open a .pdf file. I use the Comment Tools quite frequently and it would make it much easier if I don't have to add them each time I open a .pdf file. Also, it seems strange my personal Custom Tools show up on the right side of the file. I would think they would show up on the top Toolbar.

Highlight Tool should allow override to text recognition
Your Highlight Tool tries to be smart by automatically switching from freehand to text select when the document recognizes text. There should be a keyboard shortcut (i.e., hold down Ctrl while using the highlighter tool) to override this and use freehand. Text recognition is buggy and leads to weird performance when trying to highlight recognized text.

Move pointer doesn't always show with small text boxes
When I need to move a text box, I have to move the cursor over the box many times (or enlarge the text box) because the move pointer doesn't show up. It's extremely frustrating and a waste of time.

Notes ("add note to text") not updated to Retina resolution on macOs
Just wanted to let you all know that it appears that the notes ("add note to text") part of Acrobat Pro DC and Acrobat Reader has not been updated to match the Retina displays of Macbooks as the other parts of the program have. When you click the note it shows up correct resolution... when you mouse over it... it comes up old pixelated low resolution.

When drawing an arrow with arrow tool, tip of arrow is NOT pointed; the blunt end of longer line that forms arrow appears over tip
When drawing an arrow with the arrow tool in the Comment Tool section, the tip of the arrow should be pointed. Instead, it looks like this (see image below). I am a proofreader by profession. I cannot use the tool because visually, it's too distracting. I would use this tool often, however, if the arrow had the pointed tip that it SHOULD.

Archived comments' quality
After completed adding comments from all the people, I downloaded the comments as fdf file and imported to the original file ("save as an Archived file" is not available today), and found the comments quality is changed. it is no problem during online shared review, but after download the place of comments are changed. especially Strikethrough is terrible. It needs manually checking.
Also the strikethrough color is really different from online and desktop. it is really clear online, but the same strikethrough is almost invisible on desktop.
Please fix this bug soon please.

CENTER TEXT IN TEXT BOX
I want to center only selected text within a text box.
For example, I want most of the text to be, say, left justified and then have just a word at the bottom (in this case the word "GLOBAL") be centered.
I could do that in Pro XI. Now that I have Pro DC, if I select part of the text and click on "center," ALL the text centers, not just the text I've selected.

No "select all comments" shortcut?
I have Pro DC. I want to be able to use ctrl A to select all comments. (I believe I was able to do this in Pro XI.)

Custom Stamp unavailable in Acrobat for Mac
Custom stamp isn't populating the Stamp icon in Acrobat DC Pro for some Macs even when it is in the Stamp Folder. The custom stamp works on all Windows OS and all Mac OS but a few Mac users are having that issue.
1 voteHello,
Most likely this seems to be an issue with the permissions with a user profile on the system, please try the following steps and check if that helps.
1. Create a new user profile on the affected Mac machine, and test the scenario again.
2. Check the permission on Adobe folder and Sub-folders, match with non-affected Mac machines:Location of Adobe folder:
It’s in your user (Home) > Library folder. In recent versions of Mac OSX, this is hidden by default.
In the Finder, hold down the Option key first while choosing Go > Library so you can see it.
Then find it in:
Library > Application Support > “Adobe” > Acrobat > DC > Stampslet us know how it goes.
