  2. As a new user of Acrobat DC, I combine 2 files and save the portfolio. When I open up my new combined file there is a column panel on the left that shows the 2 documents that I combined. I cannot scroll through my new combined document from page 1 to the end. Rather, I must use arrows to toggle between my 2 documents. What am I missing to see it as one new combined document? Thanks.

    Hi ,

    To keep links in converted pdf, please apply/check motioned setting:
    Launch Visio, got to menu Acrobat→ Preferences. In Acrobat PDFMaker Setting select/check “Add Links” under “Application Setting”.
    Now convert the visio file to pdf and let us know if you face any problem.

  4. Steps to reproduce:

    • Create Word document in Word 2016 for Mac
      • using League Gothic, Monserrat, and Goudy Old Style fonts
    • Click "Create PDF" under the Acrobat tab in the Ribbon
      • allow it to create with the Adobe Create PDF cloud service
    • Check created PDF

    Expected to see:
    - League Gothic, Monserrat, and Goudy Old Style fonts

    Observed:
    - All fonts replaced with Times New Roman

    OS: macOS 10.13.2
    MS: Word 2016 (version 15.41)
    Adobe: CC, Acrobat Pro DC (version 2018.009.20050)

  5. I'd love for Adobe to add support for combining and convert email attachments. We use Adobe Acrobat for bulk printing, and it would be wonderful if we could load email messages (.msg) files in the combine files to Adobe box, and then print them.

    Hi

    This is already present in Acrobat – Combine menu.
    1. click on File>Create > Combine Files into Single PDF.
    2. Click on Add Files dropdown and select Add Email.

    Alternatively, you can drag and drop emails on Acrobat’s combine window.

  6. Provide the ability to append all the links and view all links in a pdf document without going page by page. Creating PDFs from a web page using multiple levels is not an option for many websites, and appending page by page is ridiculously time consuming.

  8. When you combined individual subfolders within a master folder when creating a PDF Portfolio, the previous Acrobat Pro allowed you to do this feature with one click. The current Acrobat Pro DC software requires that you create a portfolio and manually add the individual folders. Please add back the option for the one-click subfolder integration!

  9. As with Acrobat 9 Pro, your new DC versions needs a "choose pages or select pages" option when combining multiple documents into one pdf. The old version easily allowed you to select the individual document, and enter that you wanted to include only pages 1-22, 56-68, 543. Only these pages would be included. With DC I was just told by your customer support team that I would need to expand the document, and scroll through what could be a 1,000 page document and hand select the pages I need. Will not purchase program if this is the only way to…

    Hi Liz G,

    Sorry for the late reply.
    Selecting page range for combing is already present in combine feature of Acrobat.
    After adding the file switch to list view of combine and Select the pdf you want to choose mention the range and click on “Page Range”. choose your page range (eg 1-5,10-12 etc). Combine to get desire result.

    Hi Laura

    Seems like your default Excel handler is changed to Acrobat. You can change the default Excel handler by following steps:

    1. right-click on any Excel file.
    2. Go to Properties.
    3. Click on “Change…” button against "Opens With: " and select Excel from the list of apps. If you don’t see it, click on More Apps or navigate to your Excel install location where you can find excel.exe
    4. Once done, click on Apply > OK.

    It should work fine now.

  11. .eml formats are not currently supported by Adobe Acrobat to be able to convert these files into a pdf format. Please support this format.

  12. We want to create a PDF file from local HTML files.

    It can show gradient background if we save PDF by using printing function in browser.

    However, It doesn't works when created in Acrobat.

    We don't want to use printing function to create all PDF files, due to there are many pages waited to be converted.

    The gradient background are written in CSS.

    Could we have a solution?

  13. Feature requests for enhancing PDF Portfolios from Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board -
    • Distribution of content updates - Ability to manage a portfolio centrally without trying to go through a content management system like Sharepoint.
    • Annotations – mainly the ability to carry over the comments and highlights each board member has done when a document in the central portfolio is updated.
    • Easy to Navigate – Ability to add an Agenda page with hotlinks to the different sections in the Portfolio.

  16. When I scan two pages and crop them, they are smaller or equal to an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. I want to be able to take the two pages and make them just one single page. There are many times that I have scanned something that had just a couple lines at the top of the second page. I may want to be able to shrink that to fit it all on one page.   18. I have created a PDF file from an Excel Workbook. Each tab in the workbook has a range name that is in the "rows to repeat at top". I have a table of contents that hyperlinks to each of these range names in each worksheet. When the PDF is created, sometimes a worksheet will become 2 pages. The hyperlink shows at the top of both pages (because it is in the "rows to repeat at top").   19. In Acrobat Pro DC 2015 Classic & Acrobat Pro 2017 the PDF icons on the left are quite large in Portfolio / View /Layout . It would be great if PDF Thumbnails could be enabled like in Windows explorer by checking the preference in General . I realise not all file thumbnails for all types of files could easily be created ( example Excel , Word )etc ..but we combine a lot of PDF secured files into a Portfolio & the thumbnail PDF view would really be a great feature in Portfolio/View / Layout

  20. When I use the Combine Files feature with files named with numbers, they are sorted alphabetically rather than numerically.
    For example, instead of getting a file sorted:
    1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, etc.
    I get this sorting:
    1, 10, 11, 12, 2, 20, 21, 22, 3, 30, 31, etc.
