  1. I have Adobe Creative Cloud with Adobe DC et al. Up to today I have easily & successfully clicked the 'Convert current web page to an Adobe PDF file' icon in my browser tool bar.

Today, it does nothing & doesn't generate the PDF.

No updates have been done to my machine, system or OS or browser.

When I try to launch Adobe DC & try the same function via File>Create>PDF from Webpage it generates a PDF with the title on the top line & the URL at the bottom line & an empty file. So, in other words, useless.

  2. This is a bug. When using the acrobat extension in macOS microsoft Word to convert the doc to a PDF it removes internal links. It works fine for external links such as websites, but if I put a link in place that quickly takes you to another place in the document when clicked, this is removed when converting to a PDF. The text still appears blue but the link is not existent.

  3. When creating PDFs with multiple images that each have a unique filename, I would like to be able to insert that filename on the corresponding page so that I can more easily navigate to that file if I need to search for it on my computer.

  4. Would like to be able to select open tabs and combine/save them as one pdf rather than go out to the combine pdf function and drop/select them. Since they are already open and have been updated, now want to combine the tabs and not save the files separately and then use the regular combine function.

  5. When doing a batch conversion of emails in an Outlook folder, all of the emails are captured in a single PDF file. However, it would be nice to restrict what information is captured. For example, I'd like to have bcc information excluded from the email-to-PDF conversion.

    Hi,

Please follow below steps to Turn off portfolio PDF creation while combing:
Launch Acrobat and goto “Tools→Combine App→Options (gear icon)”.
Now under “Option” uncheck " Save as PDF Portfolio" and Ok.

You are done, combine and get your desire result . Let us know if you face any issue.

    Thanks,

  8. When combining files/multiple pages into single pdf file, some pages maybe oriented horizontal vs vertical. It would be nice to be able to rotate all the pages to the same orientation prior to binding all the files.
Just a thought. This feature maybe in the program already and I just don't see it. I know you can do it from a single page, this is just to skip that step of doing it in one aspect of the program and saving then doing the 2nd combine step. Just a though

    Hi

Please try creating from File > Create > Create Multiple PDF files
Add the files that you want and as you press OK, click on “The Same folder selected at the start” when asked for target folder.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks

  10. I'm on MAC and I'm used to seamlessly combining .ai files into a .pdf easily with the Combine feature in Acrobat. Some of my peers would benefit from this greatly also but they are on PC and it appears on PC Acrobat can open and view .ai files but it will not acknowledge .ai files in the Combine feature. This feels like an oversight or bug since it clearly works fine on MAC. Can we please have equal support for this on PC as well? It makes it much easier for creatives to work smoothly with other areas of the…

    Hi

    Thanks for your feature request.
I am not sure how you are able to combine .ai files on Mac using Acrobat as we do not have this support neither for Windows nor for Mac for .ai files.
However, we have taken your feature request. It is under review.

    Thanks

  12. I would like to be able to create a pdf using only part of a document using the Acrobat add-in for Microsoft Office.

It is important that the section of the document contain all the bookmarks relevant to that sections.

Extracting pages from the full document leads to a pdf with no bookmarks.

The only way I've found so far is to delete the unwanted pages and then to delete the unwant4ed bookamerks.

  13. We use text boxes or callout tool to "balloon" customer prints with several different colors representing the type of feature or dimension. Would like to be able to view the different colors by "groups" or "layers" in any combination. Current use of layers does not work as it imports each separate ballooned print over the other and are only visible by toggling between but not in combination with each other. Have talked to adobe direct and verified there is no support for this type of function at this time. Seems like a simple feature to me, we have used this…

  14. Steps to reproduce:
    1. In Acrobat, click on "Combine files into a single PDF".
    2. Choose files to combine and press "Combine files".

Environment: macOS 10.13.3, Acrobat Pro DC (2015.006.30417)

    Expected result:
    - Files are combined into a single PDF, which is shown in open window.
    - Nothing else.

    Observed result:
    - Files are combined into a single PDF, which is shown in open window.
    - The "Combine Files" box opens again. Even after clicking on "Cancel", the box re-opens.
    - Only clicking on the red cross in the top right-hand corner closes the window.

  15. I want to set the "DEFAULT" for the initial view for all pdf documents that I create. I am sick and tired of setting the "initial views" for each and every PDF that I create. Please program a preference that automates the way to set a users preference for creating files with a preset initial view.

  19. As a new user of Acrobat DC, I combine 2 files and save the portfolio. When I open up my new combined file there is a column panel on the left that shows the 2 documents that I combined. I cannot scroll through my new combined document from page 1 to the end. Rather, I must use arrows to toggle between my 2 documents. What am I missing to see it as one new combined document? Thanks.
