  2. I often have two PDFs open at the same time, side by side, for referencing purposes. Now with the Acrobat DC I don't have that choice as both opened files are now in the same 'tabbed' PDF window. I can see the two files 'serially' but not side by side.
    What to do?????

    You can drag the newly opened tab out and your PDF will now be open in new Acrobat window.

  3. Please provide downloadable pdf of Acrobat DC User Guide in case no Internet. I don't find online version so user friendly.

  7. When emailing from within Acrobat an Outlook email opens but typed text in message field of Outlook does not send. PDF sends fine.

  8. Hi I'm having continual issues with using the Redact and Combine tools. Whenever I use these tools and attempt to save the document, I get the wheel of death and have to force close Adobe. When I go to where I saved the document, I get an error message saying "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired."

  9. Provide Option to Open In Less Than Full Screen Mode.

    I work with multiple documents on may PC screen. Every time I open Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, it fills the whole screen and I have to go fishing for the corner of the screen to shrink it. I'd like to concentrate when I work, not get distracted or annoyed.

    You can change the screen display by trying:
    1) Open Adobe Reader.
    2) Select “Edit” > “Preferences“.
    3) Select “Page Display” on the left pane.
    4) Under the “Default Layout and Zoom” area, change the “Zoom” dropdown menu to a desired setting.

    Hope this works for you.

  10. PDF files that are created in any Adobe CC product, while viewing in Acrobat DC, photos and colors look washed out/dull. When full screen is initiated the colors look like intended. But once back in the normal view they are dull. Creative Cloud used on 27 in. 2017 iMac 5k, macOS 10.13.3

  11. When you work on presentation or anything else in another application (e.g. Keynote or PowerPoint) you can browse the final result of slides in PDF format by using Acrobat Reader. In this cases every time you export updated version of the PDF file you have to close the older version, and reopen the file. It's really annoying and takes a lot of time.

    I personally experience it while working with LaTeX that doesn't have a viewer. So, you quite often "export" to PDF and view via Acrobat. I have already seen other people that look for this feature and gave…

    Could you be more specific? Where do you expect a download button? Also, what do you mean by ‘page address downloaded’?

Make it possible to easily keep track of which documents in a large document folder (with many items) have been reviewed, and make it possible to show more columns on the window that opens when you open a folder in SharePoint On Line so that when redacting large document libraries it is easy to see where one left off.

Every time I try to take interrupted footage from premiere pro into after affects through the dynamic linking feature the timestamp of the video from premiere off when i view the film from after affects. . Therefore If I wanted to do my affects I would first have to upload the clips into after affects before premiere in order to my affects!

  16. Launcing Acrobat DC takes 2-3 minutes, and occasionally an error occurs and it will not launch. Once open, PDF files can be selected and opened immediately, but double clicking on a PDF file also takes 2-3 minutes for the file to open. This makes it awkward to use, so looking for another PDF application. Have tried all the forum suggestions for fixing this issue, but nothing works, and the IT people have been unable to solve the problem. I am running DC with the latest version of Windows 10.

  17. When a PDF is opened and I select send as an attachment, Outlook 2016 opens with the file attached. I'm able to enter the body of the e-mail as normal. I can send the e-mail. The recipient does not see the text that was typed. It also does not show any text that was typed in the sent e-mail looking at sent items. This only occurs when sending a file through Adobe Acrobat DC. When I attach the file without going through Adobe, everything functions normally.

    I create a directory
    inside i saved a jpeg
    i convert trough the right mouse button : Convert to pdf format
    i open the pdf file i saved in the same directory
    i edit with comment or pencil annotation
    i save... Impossible to save
    I look the attributes of the directory :
    Locked in writing
    I close the document i can't save
    i unlock in writing the directory
    i edit the pdf
    save... Impossible...

    I close the pdf.
    Put the pdf in an other directory ...
    All work !!!!

  20. I have had multiple PDFs made in indesign with REALLY SIMPLE .mp4's just refuse to play. In this one, the second video plays fine, but the first will NOT play no matter what I do. I've switched the video, I've reexported it, I've deleted the contents of the page and started over, and it still just sits with that ugly loading bar whenever I open it up in acrobat to test it out. I work with video regularly, and this happened last week when I tried assembling a few videos for a project for another client. All of them loaded…
