   It's been years, and hundreds if not thousands of people have requested you remove the stupid home screen. it's a waste of time for people. how much longer will you keep ignoring this? unless there's some tracking feature that is embedded in it for your convenience.    I would love to be able to customize the pop-up that appears when I select text. At present, it offers editing tools, but I don't use those. I use the markup tools, so in addition to the highlight tool I would love to have the "insert text" and "replace text" (or whatever they're now called) there, plus the call-out box. Possibly one or two other tools I use a lot.

   This would save me a lot of time as I would not have to mouse over to the toolbar, even though I've added the tools I use most often. Especially since now that there's no keyboard shortcut for marking inserted or replacement text (yet?).

    Create an extract shortcut, just like copy or rotate with a shift/command+letter(E), so that once we have everything selected we can execute the extraction without pressing anything else. SOMETIMES pressing extract can be misclicked, and causes all the pages to unselect. I use this function every day all day for work and the new UI has caused many cumbersome problems such as this minor button. 11. PDF issues with the new IOS (Sonoma)

    When a new version of a MacOS is released, Adobe applications are not yet compatible with this new version of MacOS.

    In my case I updated my MacBook with MacOS SONOMA and I have issues to create and print PDFs.

    Generally, Adobe developers are still in the testing phase to make applications compatible. So, it is generally advisable to wait a few weeks before upgrading to a new version of an OS to avoid this type of problem.

    A preventive pop-up alert message should be sent to all Adobe Acrobat users as soon as a new OS is about to be released in order to avoid this type of inconvenience and to save time.

    To overcome the printing problem, ADOBE teams advised me to "Print as image" or go to the online application at acrobat.adobe.com. It is works very well.

    And for PDF creation, they invited me to go to the online version.

    The online version of Acrobat is of course not impacted by OS version changes.

    Clicking on any links in any PDF causes Adobe Acrobat Reader to hang and crash

13. Scroll bars missing on Acrobat DC September 2023 (masOS)

    It is extremely frustrating that the scroll bars are missing on the September 2023 release of Acrobat DC - they re-appear on a mouse click, but do not respond to Wacom pen. So to scroll through a PDF, the pen has to be put aside. This is slowing down my work considerably, and there has been a lot of frustration expressed in the Adobe Support Community, especially among Wacom users. This is not a behaviour that we can be expected to "get used to" or "love", as it has not been designed with the user in mind.

16. Can't click on Adobe Sign link to download document from ssa.gov

    When submitting form SSA 445 on ssa.gov (US Social Security) it asked me to verify my e-mail by sending an e-mail with a verification link. I clicked the link and ssa.gov via Adobe Sign sent me a second e-mail instructing me the document was signed and complete and to click on a button to download the final document. However, the button was not clickable. Please work with your ssa.gov account team to instruct them on how to correctly implement Adobe Sign so that submitters get a copy of their final document. Below is a screenshot of the final e-mail message which erroneously lacked a clickable link.

    As a proofreader, I like to use the read-aloud feature. Acrobat's, however, is now unusable. It crashes on my Mac. I cannot read paragraph by paragraph. If I pause to insert a comment, it restarts reading from the top of the page. If there are columns, pullquotes, figures or tables, sometimes it reads across the width of the page instead of vertically. It's just a mess.

19. Search doesn't highlight text, navigation arrows moved away from search box

    In Windows version 2023.006, searching a PDF for text doesn't highlight the selected text. The navigation arrows for moving between searched text instances have moved to the lower right side of the window, away from the search box. That's not intuitive at all, and requires moving the mouse or touching a different area away from the user's focus.

20. highlighting causes text to change to prior pages while highighting

    When highlighting pdf documents the highlighted section will sometime flash to that from another page while i am highlighting. this is very frustrating as cannot see what I am actually highlighting. once i finish, the original text reappears. this has happened on multiple documents on and off. Never happened on the prior version
