  1. Viewing portfolios with signatures in browsers without download

    While I love the security of fill and sign, I have had to find work arounds in order to put multiple signed documents together by screen capturing those with signatures, then compiling these into 1 document from multiple signers of different parts. Please do not take away the ability to screen grab signed agreements without putting another easier method of controlling the agreements I send out for signing.

    That said, if portfolios continue to be the method of compiling several documents into one, is it possible to make them previewable without downloading the file in browser based cloud systems like…

  3. Hitting the Escape key deletes unsaved comment content

    Closing a comment with the Esc key deletes text entered into the comment.

    Details:

    System: Windows 10 Enterprise 64-bit Build 19042
    OS-Language: German
    Application Language: German
    Acrobat DC / Acrobat Reader DC Version: 2022.001.20142

    Steps to reproduce

    1. Open PDF; PDF:X4 created with InDesign CC 2022 (17.3) using placeholder text generated by InDesign
    2. Open commenting toolbar
    3. Select text or place cursor
    4. Start writing ("lorem ipsum")
    5. Hit "Esc" key

    Expected Result: Comment gets closed and text input is saved

    Actual Result: Comment gets closed and only the first keystroke ("l") is saved

    The same error can be observed for all commenting tools,…

  4. AIP protected files do not open in Adobe reader 32 bit

    After the last update to the 2022.011.20142 version, which has the "Microsoft AIP" plugin bundled in the installation, Adobe reader in the 32 bit version won't open AIP protected PDF files.
    The program will start a background proccess but Adobe won't open, only after ending the task you'll be able to open adobe reader at all.
    The problem is solved when reinstalling the 64 bit version, but this is a headache to any organization that has multiple devices with the 32 bit version.

  5. removing pre-set passwords from signed documents

    Removing preset passwords set by Adobe system from signed documents so that a document owner can open the document after it's been signed and not have to insert a "password" which they do not have access to.

  6. This is a sorry alignment bug

    When creating a sort of template I use right align. When I close edit to save which I now have to do, I didn't use to have to, and then open edit it is no longer right aligned and when it try to right align it gets permanently ffffffeddd up. You may have the best OCR on the market but you really should not advertise that fact until you fix some real problems. This is not my first time attempting a post

  7. Acrobat Pro DC: AppleScript cannot manipulate toolbar buttons in Acrobat Pro DC 2022

    I am using the MacOS 12.4 operating system, and I need to automate the toolbar buttons of the latest version of Acrobat Pro DC 2022 through AppleScript. This function is possible in Acrobat Pro DC 2017. But after upgrading Acrobat Pro DC, it doesn't work anymore.

  8. Organize or move attachment according to your preference

    When attaching files, they organize according to they were selected, however, when you save and close the document, they sort our different, changing the way you wanted.

  13. All pdfs are read-only

    Is there a fix for the read-only bug in which you are unable to save edits to pdfs. Error message reads "The document could not be saved. The file may be a read only or another user may have it open. Please save this document with a different name or in a different folder."

  15. Decreasing Reliability of Adobe Software

    The reliability of the Adobe software has decreased significantly over the past couple years. A number of times, the program has not kept updated changes I've made to documents, which has caused unnecessary re-dos. And very frequently, the software crashes and stops working. This is especially inconvenient when I'm saving changes; these glitches keep any changes made from being saved.

    I've kept the software updated and continue to have issues. Help.

  19. Extract icon in Quick tool stop working

  20. Automic procedure for signing in to Acrobat

    We would like to have an automatic procedure where the user do not need to sign in by himself but the automatic procedure is doing it for him.
    The idea is that after logging on to a device a scheduled task will run. This task should call a batch program that will do the sign in automatically.
