  1. the Design is very poor, why don't you change the menus, and submenus per Industry standard, to make it more intuitive.

  5. When in Full Screen, the default setting is Single Page View. There is no way to change this in Full Screen. You can change it to, say, "Enable Scrolling" before entering full screen, but once you enter full screen it will revert back to the default. Please enable a way for the user to change the default Full Screen, Page View to their personal preferences in settings.

  6. After working on one document for about 3 hours, Adobe decided to crash. When I reopened Adobe, it prompted me to recover the file, great, except the file it recovered was blank... This has happened several times. Is it too much to ask for an auto save feature, or some kind of crash protection? I have literally just wasted 3 hours of my time.

  7. Fix "Tagged Annotations - Failed" bug

Hyperlinked content is marked as "Tagged Annotations - Failed" in Accessibility checker even when they are properly inserted (whether manually in Acrobat Pro or in InDesign, etc.

Adobe Support confirmed that InDesign included the hyperlinks properly and confirmed that the issue in Acrobat is indeed a bug.

    Mac OS Mojave. 10.14.5
    InDesign 14.0.2
    Acrobat Pro DC

Created document in InDesign with and without hyperlinks. Exported to PDF.

PDF with hyperlinks produced Tagged Annotations - Failed
PDF without hyperlinks did not show failure UNTIL I added the hyperlinks manually in Acrobat, then they failed as…

  8. It would be nice to be able to customize new pdf's page size by a easy menu command or during the process of creating a new document.

  9. Basically, as the title explains, I would like the window in Acrobat to close after clicking 'Attach to Email'.

Reason: E.g. After exporting a document in Indesign, which then opens in Acrobat, I click 'Attach to Email' email window opens with your attachment, I send proof and go back to Indesign to start the next job if I do the same process and forget to close the 'How do you share file' window it errors which is really annoying! Please fix I'm sure it never used to do that.

    Thanks

  10. Please, please can we have the option to show the Zoom Value (percentage) on the main toolbar. I can't use the 'out of toolbar' display as it disappears, and can't keep taking the mouse down to show the disappearing toolbar every time I want to know what zoom value I'm at.

    Thanks
    Mike

  14. We have 19 windows 10 PC that have Adobe Reader and you cannot type anywhere. This includes the search filed, form fields, page range on printing, comments, etc. it is like the program is not accepting input from the keyboard because Ctrl + F does nothing but you can open the search by using the mouse and toolbars. You can paste into all of these fields by right click and paste but not Ctrl + V. The issue seams to be isolated to Windows 10 and the reader version. the Windows 7 machines that we have are not having the…

  15. Adobe, PLEASE update Acrobat Pro DC's accessibility standard from WCAG 2.0 to WCAG 2.1. It came out a year ago, June 2018, but Acrobat DC does not yet support it.

Government agencies now require 2.1 to comply with accessibility legislation: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/accessibility-requirements-for-public-sector-websites-and-apps

Our accessible PDFs are mostly for government agencies. If Acrobat does not update soon we can no longer use it and will have to find an alternative. Can anyone suggest any good apps that validate to WCAG 2.1?

  17. When I create a text box and then have to move it, no amount of single or double clicking will let me type text in the box. You can see in the attached movie that the cursor appears briefly, but then it disappears.

The only way to deal with it is to delete the box, recreate it, and hope that it will let you type text this time.

(The problem with that **** trash can has been covered separately.)

I work on books and have to make these text boxes hundreds of times a day. The added time it takes…

  18. We have been experiencing problems in pdf file conversion (pdf to jpeg format). The font style changes all throughout (stretched and ambiguous), totally different from the acrobat pdf output.

Consider this utmost importance as we are having a project deadline.

Your immediate response to this matter will be highly appreciated.

    With regards,
    CV Team

  19. Add option of "Receive copy of final document?" for each signer, in case particular signer(s) do not need/want a copy or notification that the document was signed by all parties later in the signature chain.
