  1. This has been observed after Adobe Acrobat Pro was recently updated.
    Why should the intial formatting be lost when we edit a comment? So, let's say if we have some portions of the comment in bold, it will automatically become 'unbold' when we start editing the comment. We then have to go back to the comment (after saving because autosave is now gone!) and redo all the formatting that was done earlier. This bug surely needs to be fixed as formatting within a comment is crucial if it is indicative of a pattern within a PDF file.

  2. Can we please have the autosave function back?
    It is unfortunate that the Autosave feature is no longer available in the latest update of Adobe Acrobat Pro. We need to click 'Post' each time we even start writing a comment using annotations. The total time to annotate a PDF is now longer because of this update, which affects productivity. You may even loose your work if you forget to save each time you type any text using an annotation tool (sticky notes, comment feature).

  3. Hello,

    We have a PDF file that seems to be ZUGFeRD compliant according to the ZUGFeRD Community verification tool (ZUV - https://www.zugferd-community.net/en/open_community/validation) but when trying to validate this PDF file using the Adobe Acrobat Preflight tool there is an error message that states the XMP data is not valid.
    I am attaching the sample file, a report from the ZUV validator, and a screenshot from the Preflight tool.

  4. Now the new update makes Reader compact and the UI looks cool. But I feel bookmarking tabs could have been placed on the left side of the screen as it makes access to it much easier. The full-screen mode has also become better.

  5. Your software completely SUCKS!!!!!!! i CANNOT OPEN ADOBE FILES ANYWHERE. They won't open in Outlook or after I save them. I NEED TO WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. the new version of Adobe Acrobat Pro is horrible. The layout is totally counter productive. buttons and toolbars have been moved to places they should not be. this new design is more than a few steps backwards. it is a lot harder to use than before. really really bad redesign

  7. Where are those buttons hiding now? There should be buttons to take you to the first or last page of a document. Previously you had to turn them on, but I can't find where to turn them on now with this awful UI. Someone mentioned finding a way to put it back to the old UI, how is that done?

  8. After inputting my credentials into Microsoft Login to connect to Adobe Acrobat. I receive an error message saying it cannot connect.

    I tried this on both Windows 10 and Mac.

  9. The new toolbar isn't great but I can live with it. However, it FREQUENTLY protrudes over the document when you use a tool with a submenu or the type tool with the font and color options. This is very bad, especially when adding a comment in the margins. Since it is possible to move the toolbar, why not make it possible to orient it horizontally at the top or bottom of the page? That way, it won't obstruct lines in the middle of the document that happen to be close to the edge.

  10. This new floating, unhideable toolbar needs to go! Give me the old tools interface back. It is unfathomable to me that Adobe is just going to push out this interface with no choice for the customer. It might seem like a small change, but this appears to have been done with very little thought for the user.

  11. The new-look UI for Adobe Reader has a new, revamped "pages" panel on the right side. This is where page thumbnails are shown. The problem is that the whole panel element is way too wide. It takes up way too much screen space. Even when you reduce the size of the thumbnails to the smallest view setting, there is still too much white space on either side of the thumbnails. It IS possible to resize the panel by dragging the panel's border with your mouse, but the problem with this is that Adobe Reader will not remember the resizing of…

  12. I'm not sure who is leading these changes at Adobe but they shouldn't be allowed to have the say anymore. Do you know how much time we have to spend in re-training users when you "re-imagine" the UI? We have so many help tickets trying to assist users with getting back the tools they need to perform their job. How about you leave well enough alone?

    I really wish my employer would find a better alternative that isn't going to change the UI every couple years and cause headaches for everyone. Loss time and wages because some genius at Adobe…

  13. New interface is almost unusable. I have to basically edit and save documents multiple times a day. Both of those options are buried and when I used the edit feature I couldn't even figure out how to stop using it. thank goodness you had the option (though it was well hidden) to revert to the original UI. what were you thinking?

  14. The new layout is horrible. It is not at all intuitive or user friendly, and was completely unnecessary. Please give us the option to use the old layout!

  17. Links to Attachments with a PDF work when created in Windows 11. When the PDF is moved to an iPhone and opened with Adobe Acrobat, those links fail to open. The attachment link recognizes the touch to the link region and flashes a brief background color, but nothing happens to open the link.

    Note: When the PDF is moved to Dropbox, it works within Dropbox before downloading to an IOS device. It also works in iCloud Drive before downloading to an IOS device.

  18. Some keyboard inputs are deleted when searching whilst autoscroll is enabled. Makes searching infuriating.

    Enable auto scroll on a document
    Open the search box to search for text in the document
    Start typing in the search box
    As you type you will find some characters are not displayed in the search field

  19. The "Export a PDF" function has been broken since my Adobe Acrobat got updated a few days ago. I click on the menu and no options come up. I'm on Windows 10.

  20. The new "+ Create" button on the right side of the tabs is totally misplaced. It opens a popup that gets in the way when you want to move the window, if you have a lot of tabs open, which I usually do. The more logical place for it would definitely be in the toolbar below. It's just annoying and makes me want to install another reader.
