Menu & toolbar layout is for specialist users, not people reading documents.
New Acrobat has at least 5 menu / tool locations that can not be hidden and panels that pop out.
To call this messy, annoying and cluttering is an under statement.
At least the top menu bar has been slimmed down compared to the prior version.
The top window edge has enough space for all items.
The bottom edge status bar can stay.ALL OTHER BARS SHOULD BE COMPELTELY UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE USER FOR CONTENT AND VISIBILITY - AT THE APPLICATION LEVEL, NOT PER DOCUMENT.
Ideally, for my uses, Acrobat should open one windows PER document (another bug/omission,…

New user interface is difficult to navigate. Adobe should do the better job for the user friendly interface.
The new interface is making my work speed slow. It not convenient to search all the edit. The change was very big, and i would like adobe to incorporate to the older version.

Adobe Collaborate: stuck on 'Loading Shared Comments'
When I open my shared PDF, it says 'Loading Shared Comments' forever. I know for a fact that there are no more than four comments in this PDF but I can't access them.

Bug: "Automatically save document" does not work
There is no point to adjusting "Automatically save document changes to temporary file every _ minutes." I have it set to 1 minute, but when Acrobat crashed, it recovered the document I started with over an hour ago-no saves since I started. This happens regularly, regardless if I save local or to Adobe cloud storage.
If I have to duplicate the time spent compiling my study notes, I might as well go back to physical printouts that save in real time, and scan to make searchable if needed.1 vote -

Adobe Acrobat Crashing when Clicking Fillable Fields too Quickly After Launch
I've encountered 2 separate instances of a replicable issue with Adobe Acrobat crashing upon clicking a fillable field shortly after the document is opened.
The workaround is to allow a few seconds for Adobe to "finish loading", indicated by the 7-day Trial banner appearing in instances of non-licensed users. Any clicks prior to this message appearing will cause the application to crash/close out without an error message.
I'm unsure if it has anything to do with how the document was created.

The capture button has disappeared!
I used to print details of the pages, and to do so I used the "Capture" button. Now that button has disappeared and I can't edit the buttons bar to add it back.

Allow Acrobat DC Pro to open PDF in separate windows via new interface. The old interface had this but the new interface only allows PDFs to be opened in tabs.

Customization for all default shortcut icons
It makes no sense that customizing the tool bar is limited in that the default tools can't be deleted or even moved lower. Same goes for the side panel. Same goes for the navigation bar. Everyone uses the product differently, requiring/preferring widely varied views and tools. I don't see why adobe wouldn't provide full customization in order to better serve every user. Some of the default icons are ones I will absolutely never click on but I have no choice but to have and keep them in the prime and easiest to access locations on the page.

layout
The current layout of Adobe for basic text functions is confusing and inconvenient. I wish Adobe would be kinder to their customers and improve its products instead of impeding its customers. I don't want to support Adobe but I have to. I don't want to be a *****. I am a person, not a user. I think and do. An interface does not even begin to sum up what happens as I work with Adobe and do other things. Yuck.

Less whitespace in the bookmarks panel
The line spacing between bookmarks in the bookmarks panel is now a full line, meaning the content of this panel is 50% wasted space. Plus they are all indented, which is more wasted space especially because many now spill over onto a second line. On my 1440-pixel tall display, I can see 30 items. But if I open the same document in Firefox, the bookmark panel shows 42 items. So it's much easier to find what I am looking for in a long document.

Popups
Remove the 10 million billion trillion popups when initially running after downloading/signing up for a trial. Also, if you can't get the program to run at least as well as Microsoft word for editing a document... no one will.

Remove new delete button in bookmarks
I can see if you're editting bookmarks the new trash can icon in the active button might be useful, but most of the time bookmarks are just for navigation and so I don't want to go accidentally delete them instead.

Why is the 'file save' icon greyed out? Why do we have to use a more lengthy procedure 'menu / save as' in order to save a file?
Can we not have a working icon to be able to save a file? And that pop-up window which shows recently used file saved locations can be awfully slow - can take 20+ seconds to display anything on occasions, but usually at least 10 seconds. Dreadfully slow process. On occasions it may even not function at all, stalled spinning wheel or no spinning wheel at all,
Acrobat DC is just sooo terribly terribly slow compared to the old installed versions of reader that used to exist... I still use Reader 4 on an 25 year old machine and it works…
